ItGeek: Whats CHN number, i only have my account number with the brokers and my cscs number.
Your CHN (clearing house number) starts with the letter C and ends with two alphabets, for example C123456AN. If you don't have it, ask your broker.

debostar: I emailed them since the 17th of June ,2014.Up till now ,no response.
I have search through the platfotm,I can not find the itrade:bottom left ,bottom of new order, everywhere
I wiill try a PC that has a latest edition of firefox as suggested by someone.
presiade: Forget it, they didn't respond... One needs to persistently pressurize them before they respond. They have competitive edge in other aspects, but much is left to be desired in their customer service.
Seems to me like Morgan work harder at getting new customers than keeping them and this is what I'm wary of. They are doing anything to attract customers- 0.25% brokerage fee, real-time online trading etc- but care less about these customers. Could these be signs of dangers ahead? I don't know how much it costs to offer good customer services but I'm sure the cost of not making your customers happy will be much greater. For me, good customer service is more important than this 0.25% brokerage fee. I opened an account with Morgan just because of the real-time online trading but will exercise some level of caution dealing with them. I hope investors don't get locked in with time amid limited options.

Chibuking81: good information, thanks for that, I find out that my stockbroker charges me upto 2% at each purchase, within the new week, I will go ahead with the Morgan online account opening, pls I need two more information about the morgan account opening, 1. must I put the exact date for my bank account opening date, as am yet to know the exact date from my bank, 2. How will I pay #50,000 minimum opening amount, can I do that via ATM fund transfer? once again, thanks.
You may write Just the year of account opening. After your account has been opened, you can fund it via online transfer and direct bank deposit. I don't know about ATM but if there is an option to transfer funds via ATM then you may use it as well. But ensure to write your name as depositor of the fund (if you're doing direct bank deposit) or write your full names as remark if you are doing transfers.

Chibuking81: Between Meritrade and Morgan online platform, which of them is good to go?
Even though I am yet to give Morgan a try, I think you should go for them. They now have real-time online trading- a feature that will definitely attract investors like myself- plus, their low brokerage fee. However, I heard their customer service is not too good compared to Meristem.

nereiskc: Pls pals, for those of us that use Meristem as their broker, What's the difference between STOP LIMIT and LIMIT , when placing order either to buy or sell.
If you use limit order you are specifying the maximum or minimum price that you are willing to buy or sell a stock. The stop-limit is a combination of both stop order and a limit order. Here you specify a stop price and a limit price (price limit). Once the stop price is reached, your stop-limit order changes to a limit order
