even as bad as lingard was last night, I wouldn't blame him much cos all united did was to pass to the left. Martial was having their RB on toast.

That guy suffer for Martial hand. Martial went behind him like 5 times. But he was not looking up previously to cut it back or pick the precise pass.

His decision making has improve though. Before Martial first decision on receiving a pass, was to get past men. Passing was always a second thought and that delayed out flow. Yesterday he did the right things at the right time.

I like Jackson too. He has speed and can play. His recovery is commendable.

As the CAF League Champions, Enyimba of Aba and Shooting Stars kick off this year's Globacom Premier League this weekend, in Ibadan, the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) has suspended Okomu Oil Football Club from the league for taking it to court contrary to pro-league rules.

For those who don't know, Okomu oil is a club in Benin City. Most people from my area those days would go to play for Okomu oil if they cannot get into Insurance. It was used so much those days by players from my area as a stepping stone. I have not followed up with them recently to know how they are fairing.

If we were asked to play against Okomu oil, we would still make excessive back and side passed. Our back and side passes reduce the time of the match. Tick Tick while we pass the ball around our half. Now Derby has started to believe when we should have finished them since.

He is consistent when he is praying regularly and allowed to do his thing. But when there is Valencia on the bench ready to come on, Nani would be making mistakes after mistakes.

This is why the seasons Nani has had his best time was when Valencia was injured. SAF clearly preferred Valencia and he never hid it, even from the press. At some point SAF find a solution when he played Valencia on the right and Nani on the left. But the arrival of Ashley Young put further pressure on Nani. He is not a very confident guy, so he is shy of competition.

Did I really supported Mane or I did an analysis of his game? Anyway, Mane was one of the best wingers in the EPL last season. He is fast on a short distance which I don't fully like. He is explosive in the final third. Person wey fit carry the ball far and fast na I want.

Musa will likely come with a problem of having a poor first touch, poor decision and he's a one footed player. Compare these attributes to Nani who can control with both legs with ease, shoot from outside the box with both feet and can do a great counter from the deep.

I kind of agree with him, but why did he over trim the club? Yet we can't even buy new players. If we can't buy anyone let's bring Nani back. If we are truly interested in Musa I laf. From Di Maria, Nani..... to Musa?

This is not the first time birds used to spy have been captured or traced. I am surprised people are not aware of this method of spying used by some countries.

Mourinho won the league last season, just the second season of his return. Mistakes aren't ruled out. Even SAF recruited Obertan, Tosic.

If Moyes had two full summer transfer windows I should have said he had all the opportunities to correct any mistakes he had made previously.

SAF knew how he used players like Cleverley, Wekbeck, Valencia, Nani, Evans, etc to get results mostly playing deep and killing opponents from counters. Moyes spreads his players thin on the pitch with every man left to do his duty while praying high tempo football. Attackers are not naturally expected to support defence. Van Gaal tries to control a game.

So there was a mis match of managers to players. Gaal has had two summer windows to bring players who can control the game.

Hw many coaches gets sacked for a poor run in the UCL...Your league position gets you into the UCL and based on that, Moyes deserves the sack cos he was piss-poor...

Fellaini was a panic buy. It was after thought due to pressure from fans to sign a midfieder. Same with Mata. Otherwise Moyes was ready to wait for the right players.

Moyes was sacked prematurely. I am never an advocate of sack hire and sack. There is no too much difference between what a manager can bring to a team.

Luis Enrique is not a better manager than Ancelotti, it's just that Enrique is at the right place at the right time. Bring Enrique to manage Everton and let's see.

You are mixing up two different issues.

Mourinho dragged a defending Champion to relegation battle with same players. If it were another manager who took over, it would have meant the new guy killed Chelsea.

This is different from your comparison of Mourinho and Moyes.

Looking at that season, there is no proof that Moyes would have done any better. Let's just die that matter.

I am sure he would have done better if he had the next summer to sign his players. I picked that game because it was the biggest game at the biggest stage and we gave a good account of ourselves.

Moyes sins was that he didnt have a big CV. So as soon as three poor results came, he was put under massive pressure from media and fans. Van Persie's complaint that his training method was too hard compounded the issue. What defence would a man without a world class CV have?

Gaal came with all his world class status, and guiding Netherlands to 100% win of qualifying matches at the time he was being hired. With such reputation he was allowed to settle down. Several bad results after spending heavily, the media and pundits spared him of any criticism. He had all the money to spend and all the time to settle. Even when the criticism started this season, his reputation was enough to bully critics and journalists.

The difference is that one was not allowed to settle while the other was highly protected and supported to spend heavily.
