Lol Strugglin that song has 114 plays on my I-Tunes. If this world was not rotten why would Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga be winning Grammies when peeps like K'Naan don't even get nominations? For goodness sake they nominated Flo-rida's album for best rap

I like Waving Flag but Anastacia's 'Boom' is the bestest! Using Nicki Menaj 'English'
Waving Flag has about 150 plays on my I-tunes . . . and then prolly 300 on my I-touch. grin grin
I think the fact that he's not signed in the US counts against him.
Just see the way the Haiti 25 version of We Are The World made headlines while Canada's Young Artistes for Haiti's rendition of Waving Flag was only heard in Toronto.

There's about four Da Vinci Code album launch threads . . .

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll ask Seun and Lalaboi.

Sir El Gee Could Quit Eldee FC

Reports reaching us have increased speculations that the highly respected manager, Sir El Gee could have finally succumbed to pressure from other clubs to leave Eldee FC. After a successful run which has left the team in an unprecedented 13th place on the league table, the Nigerian manager is said to have received multiple offers from top European clubs.

He was said to have sent farewell text messages to his favourite players, one of which is Francesc Fabregas according to reliable sources. This has obviously not gone down well with both fans and players alike who have set-up a temporary camp outside the New Highbury grounds to protest against this event.

Clubs that have been said to have made formal approaches include Galacticos FC, Enyimba09 and Gateway FC. He is also said to have refused an offer to lead his home country Nigeria to the World Cup in South Africa.

No statements have been received from either Sir El Gee or the club management as at press time but the hints are getting more visible than ever.

@eldee
I don't dispute that fact.
All am sayin' is that most posters started hiphop when JaRule & Nelly were kings.
How many of them know that Mode was a member of SWAT Roots?how many of them know that Terry,6foot,OD,LD and Rukclin were killin' Mode on mixtapes?how many of them even remember Ruggedman for his ''What if'' track with Paul Play?
If you call out songs of Mode,M.I and Rugged as the best in a decade, you obviously just started hiphop.
It's simple . . . best rap song since 2001.
Naija rap has never been this good . . . FACT!!!

They don't need to write an epistle on hiphop history.
