He has other songs, but now that he's signed to Notting Hill Music, all his songs are record label property.
He's releasing a UK album this summer, and a song called Lagos Town to rep Naija.
It's off the hook. . . literally.

This is peach perfect. . . full stop.

You really worked on the arrangement of the sounds this time.
I can see even crap artistes making hits with this.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (In Arsenal We Trust) by eldee(op): 2:35pm On Feb 28, 2010
After career threatening injuries to Van Persie and Eduardo , I was thinking it would have hurt less if it were to a less important player of our team.
Thing is . . . I wouldn't even wish this for Rooney or Drogba.

It hurts even more with Ramsey . . . he is the bedrock Arsenal's future.
This is a player we all knew was going to eventually step into Fab4's shoes.
Football shouldn't be played like this . . . it's getting extremely adversarial.

It has now become a norm for coaches and 'analysts' to say 'take the physical approach against Arsenal' or 'Stop them from playing the Arsenal way'.
Why don't we all play fair, didn't United trash us properly this season??

FIFA/UEFA/EPL need to do sumn . . . maybe threaten month long bans for year season long injuries.
Strict liability, not to punish the defenders, but to make sure players are more careful.

We can't keep losing the most talented players in the game . We lost Eduardo, Djibril Cisse and Dean Ashton.
This mentality has even gone into training camps. . .

Music/Radio › Re: Favourite Rap Lines By Nigerian Rappers by eldee(op): 10:53pm On Feb 27, 2010
I'm still talking about the Ruggedman line.
Being a fanatic is way different from being a fan.

Just look at your definitions.

Fanatic: a person with an obsessive interest in and enthusiasm for something, esp. an activity
and:
filled with or expressing excessive zeal

Now . . . look at the definition for 'fan'.

a person who has a strong interest in or admiration for a particular sport, art form, or famous person

Ruggedman said, 'I'll change your strong interest into an excessive one.'

It's not the same thing. Two totally different things.

1st, Eminem didn't say 'baleed', he actually said bleed bt pronounce it as 'b-leed'
Oh shit, I didn't know that grin grin
He pronounced it like that to complete his multi.

Same way Pherowshuz pronounced eight as hate just to pass a message.
He was trying to rhyme 'Zamani', 'Granny', 'Armani', 'Penny' and 'Nanny',  It cudnt be GraMMY, nah.
Verse filler in the start of a Rap Verse?,  SMH.
Yeah, verse fillers are used anywhere . . . Eminem spent time discussing how fast he should rap on Forever

There they go, back in stadiums as Shady spits his flow
Nuts they go, macadamia they go so ballistic, whoa
We can make them look like Boso’s
He’s wondering if he should spit this slow

Even Nas did the same thing on We Major

I heard the beat and I ain't know what to write
First line, should it be about the hos or the ice?
Four-four's or black christ? Both flows would be nice

As long as it's logical, it doesn't need to be 'deep'.

Music/Radio › Re: Scorching Mi Diss ! by eldee(m): 11:28am On Feb 27, 2010
ElRazur:
It is hard to pick up on the headphones [massive bass line and reverb lol], but from what I can hear, it appears to have been arranged in a 4/4 bar. Then with each over all 4bar having an accent or something to slightly vary it from the previous [reduces repetition]. Over all, I think it is a properly executed arrangement.

The Blaze track follows the same pattern, but with less differentiation in preceding blocks of 4bars and the repeat is a little bit more obvious. The sounds are nothing too dramatic and comes across like standard konga and rim hits to me. The other sound that may be worth mentioning is the "drop-water-like is actually part of the whole standard kit - well on the Juno. I think is more or less a bass deep hit with a slight transpose thrown on it. [I.e change in key note]

Overall, very good and excellent arrangement. I have to say, I am no way near that arrangement level yet.
Dude you're the expert, I'm the novice grin grin
To me, there are only two kinds of beats . . . good ones and crap ones cheesy

There are many Nigerian songs with good beats . . . I can't believe you don't like Don Jazzy's Tongolo. undecided

@topic, I have nothing. . . .I'll be back. Need to get into naija rap mode. . .soon soon.
Aiite . . . lemme break it down.

A popular Nigerian rapper, Naeto-C's trademark song is 'You know my P'
R.Kelly has sex with underage girls (bust sixteens) and urinates on their backs.

He's relating the way he drops bars with Kel's scandals and Naeto-C's song.
Makes sense now??

chiogo:
Come in Abuja, got Kaduna on my back, you who am I??
No pun intended, but I'm spit on the M.I
C, now I got their full attention
He says 'no pun intended but I'ma spit on the M.I(another popular Nigerian rapper) . . . like he was declaring beef.
But then pauses and adds 'C' . . . and laughs about how he got our attention.

You know how Jay-Z said, 'I'm in Mason' and then pauses before he added Martin Martgielar.
Just to take the piss out of the paranoid people. . . that's what Joe Spasm did there.

While I am not concerned about the Diss and vocals. I am more keen on the back tracks. Eldee, do you notice the track was a repeat with an interlude of bright pad of some kind and then back to the repeat hook again.
Yep, the brightpad thing came in when he was talking less . . . I liked it.
You should listen to the original track, he had a new sound for every five lines.
