I'm not sure I've got time to upload em. . . so I'll post popular ones so you can easily find em on the net.
It's got R'n'B and post-punk rock songs just to avoid the dull ambience all the time.

Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol
Fix You - Coldplay
You Make it Real - James Morrison
I'm Yours - Jason Mraz
You Made Me Love You - R Kelly
The Man Who Can't Be Moved - The Script
Lost Without You - Robin Thicke
Falling - Alicia Keys
Speechless - Michael Jackson
I Turn To You - Christina Aguilera
Hero - Enrique
Kiss From A Rose - Seal

And erm, if you dig a bit of Pre-90s style.

Heaven - Bryan Adams
Unforgettable - Nat King Cole
There Is (No Greater Love) - Amy Winehouse
When A Man Loves A Woman - Michael Bolton
The Book of Love - Peter Gabriel
Endless Love - Lionel Richie, Diana Ross
Just The Way You Are - Barry White

and when he goes-

How can i say it loud that i envy Jagz/
to much love too much swag/
pple say he's much better on stage/
got sonf that got pple to engage/
i smile to cover up ma frustration and rage/

At least now u believe when i say i aint M.i hater grin

U aint ready for the task i'l give u to get another, i'ma make it harder for u grin
oNe
I always knew he was jealous of Jesse Jagz . . . he still thinks Jagz is the greatest.
The best part of that song was when he was talking about lust . . . he reminds me of me grin grin

Come on man . . . what do I need to do??
I'll send you K'naan's full album. wink wink

@ofoka and aldon

Thanks man . . . u're the second coolest bloke I know, after me grin grin

I like the fact that he's improving in his narratives. . . especially when he refers to himself in third person.
No forced wordplays, no punchlines, no metaphorical expressions just exactly how it happened.

It's something different, I don't even know if Nigerians are ready for this, especially with the techno beats.

I forsee Javalove quoting lines from the 'Anger, Pride, Lust' song . . . grin grin

What do I need to do to get the rest grin grin

stillwater:
I'm going to base my preference on first impressions. My sister introduced me to Nneka years back but her songs didn't excite me. I like she's making waves for herself but to be honest I found and still find her lyrics forced.
In the darkness I listen to the melody that life plays
It goes to my ears and my own??
It's a funny feeling that comes over me and stays
Such moments I'm reminded that the gift of life is life itself
If you could ask God to help you
Still got to help yourself
Life is not a bed of Roses
Just like the ten commandments of Moses
- Stay Strong
grin grin grin grin grin

In my own opinion, I think she spends so much effort on trying to sound smart/deep that she forgets that she is first Nneka the singer before Nneka the 'philosopher'.
I still think her voice is not as good as Asa's . . . neither is her control of the guitar.
Structurally, her songs are nowhere near Asa's too.

Ok, no vex. U have the right to like waeva u like grin
But secondly, im sure im a much bigger M.I fan than u are~seriously.
I have almost 10 new M.i tracks u'v not heard, nice tracks no doubt.
M.i is good, i hate when dudes grag me to a point that i now sound like i aint feelin d dude!
He ma boy!
Do i think he's overated~lyrically, yep he's overated. He himself admits M9 is far much lyrical~(interview-December)
M9 admits that M.i is a good rapper as well(an interview 3wks ago)

The thing is the boy is sooooooo likeable that dudes are willing to overlook his Short comings~no pun intended.
Now the Beautiful example~u sayin NO RAPPER CAN DO THAThuh?
your choice of what u think is spectacular baffles me~really.
If u do not see Contradiction as dope, but see 360poetry(outstandin track no doubt) better, then i resign.

Mnwhile if u like to up your M.I Fanism and since u like Beautiful, he has one with similar rendition on the 10tracks compilation~ so lemme kno if u down, i'l be generous to share it, but privately.Seriously resistin the temptation to post the tracks.

oNe
That's the thing . . . that's what fans do.
I'm a big fan of M.I . . . it's not my job to highlight his flaws, it's your job.
And the burden of proof is on you.

I'm not a hypocrite, I won't say I don't overhype M.I . . . but I don't want to hear it from someone that will come out and say Epuribs Unum is the best album to ever come out of Africa, or Contradiction is the best track from Africa.

Modenine is far more overrated on Nairaland . . . any truthful person will admit it.

i understand wat u r tryna do. . .even if i post the hardest modenie line, u can still with your hatred filled brain still call it ordinary. . .whay d hell r u scared to post the full lineshuh why posting them out of context. . . ? does the reality hit u hard?? that modenine is the best?? eeeeyyyaaaa. . .u know wat u can do right now, go to d kitchen, boil some water. . .whe its hot, baff urself with it. . .den i wud know u r serious with this your hatred thingy. . .else, u just folling around trying to make good sound bad. . .get off MI's prick for d last time. . .!!
It's not hatred . . . it's simple common sense.
If you know they're not crap, post them. . . . you can't make a good line sound crap, it's impossible.
Sauron drops some Canibus lines that I had to respect even though I hate his type of rap, Hax dropped some lines on the Drake thread that I had to just pay respect to.
If a track is good enough to be the best in Africa, nothing I'll do will scratch it. . . ask anyone.

I think I'm Hot is one of the best tracks in Nigeria, you think it's a lie, I'll post it, just say the word.
I'm not gonna come here and say I'm not a big fan of M.I . . . but I know his crap songs and I'm pretty much objective about them.

U have tried, but u havent convinced me at all not to say CONTRADICTION is the best to ever come out of africa. . .

and if modenine was not a nigerian, its your types that wud be running up and down with boxers shouting dat dere is one better guy in anoda country. . .

se, weda u like it or not, weda u like him or not, weda u believe or not.  .MODE IS THA BEST!!!
That's the problem . . . I don't need to quote the whole thing
I already did that on a different thread, I gave you the link already.
That track is extreme B.S . . . I don't need to convince you, Modenine would be ashamed of that track at this level.

If you need to prove anything, open a new thread, post the lyrics of the song and I'll show you how ordinary it is.

But no you're scared of doing that, you'll rather compare it to Safe, a song that's universally accepted as M.I's weakest song.
Dude . . . I don't need to tell you to get off Modenine's dick . . . if you leave it, DBR will jump in grin grin
