duduspace:I don't understand how someone can turn the death of two ten year-olds into a random comic strip. Some people just need to grow up. . . C'mon, Sir Bobby Robson died and even his rival paid respect . . . football is just a game for God's sake. |
^^^^^^^^^^^ Come on . . . that's a low. We all agree that you're doing this for fun, but this is a real funeral here. You guys need to know where to draw the line . . . it's unfair. |
honeric01:Saying a coach is only as good as his last result is not only stupid . . . it is also quite amusing. But I'll leave you to your stupidity. In your own opinion, Amodu is better than Guus Hiddink?? How brainless can you get?? honeric01:That's where you're mistaken . . . it's so easy to see that you're stuck to this deluded line of reasoning, the same one that's inherent in most decisions by the NFF. A coach does not become crap because of one competition . . . they have records that speak for them. He has been fourth place in four of the last five major competitions he's been in and that's past history?? Jesus Christ!!! Why did you bless Nairaland with this many daft people?? This is more than any site's fair share. honeric01:Yeah . . . but you wouldn't understand since you know so much about football. honeric01:Because idiots like you in the NFF will never think logically before making decisions. Rather they'll rather employ a crap coach and put the fate of our football 'in the hands of God', one would think they don't pray in other countries. You know what . . . I shouldn't be discussing this with you. Forgive me for thinking your IQ was at least of a positive integer. |
@honeric A coach is as good as his CV not his last result. Why do you think Arsene Wenger is still one of the most sought after managers in Europe?? Which excuse are you trying to make for him? are you trying to tell me that the Russians had no national team before he was made coach? and how long was he the coach of the Russian national team?Do you watch football at all?? Russia before Hiddink had not gone past the group stages of a major tournament . . . same with South Korea. And you're here spewing fcukery?? Sometimes you football analysts amaze me. one more thing, would you be happy if the sweat of your father is enjoyed by someone else? if Amodu was your dad, would you be happy if all he labored for was given to someone else to enjoy? he was deprived before, he shouldn't be deprived the second time.Football has nothing to do with sentiment/emotions. Stop being a girl . . . emotions cloud your judgement and lead to irrational decisions. In football . . . we don't care if it sounds bad, the best people should take the best roles. That's why players get the bench when they get old. . . You're taling like this and one day, you'll say you want to coach the Super Eagles, and the cycle continues. |
honeric01:Last result?? You mean the same Russia he took to the semi-finals on the toughest tournament in the world?? Hmmn . . . that's quite interesting. You mean the same Russia he made from scratch like he did with South Korea?? Your line of reasoning is so weird, I think you should join the NFF. ![]() |

chamotex:Hehehe . . . when will I recieve the report for your loss to Fulham?? I've been waiting for two months now. I want it double spaced in Times New Roman, you choose the font size and it must not be more than 2500 words. ![]() References should include quotes from Zamora, Rooney, etc. ![]() |
@nateevs I actually respect the fact your analysis on matters that have anything to do with Chelsea are relatively applaudable, but you're arguing on a weak foot here. Reading your last post just did it for me and I don't know why A-40 didn't spot that. First you started with the, any team that 'loses shamefully' to it's rivals should be ashamed, whipped, taken to Trafalgar square and burnt on a stick . . . etc. A-40 mentions a couple of teams that have done the whole 'lose shamefully' parade and come back stronger and immediately you flip your argument to 'Arsenal has not done it in the last five years.' Did the League start in the last five years?? Why do you Chelsea fans think like this?? And you guys wonder why people ask why you started supporting Chelsea. I don't care about who wins on Sunday or next year, but if you're going to argue on this thread, please make an effort to sound rational and coherent, and stop dropping these lame gloryhunter-sounding borderline illogical statements. These threads are archived you know. |
platinumnk:So you call yourself optimistic and out-of-the-box thinker because you're scared of a music video?? WOW!!! That makes so much sense. |
I'm watching Goodfellas now . . . I'm tired of receiving weird stares each time I tell someone I've not seen this movie. |

@morpheus Stop talking out of your arse . . . South Africa is a major tourist destination so what?? Wasn't India a major tourist destination too?? You say I'm being sentimental, am I the one that compiled the murder and assault rate per capita list?? Am I the one that killed people in xenophobic attacks?? Am I the one raping women in Jo'burg?? But no . . . because you survived there means it's the safest place to live. There are some places that are safer than others in this world, we have to live with that. Now you say the European governments are sore . . . it never occurred to you that they just might be trying to protect their citizens?? In your weird way of thinking, the fact that a place has 'pretty places' means it's safe?? No one is saying people shouldn't go to the World Cup, all I'm saying is it will be stupid for Germany not to warn their citizens about the dangers of going to some places in South Africa. If the Togolese had done that, they'll prolly have been the ones in the final not Ghana. |
morpheus24:I know someone that lost a friend there before so shut the fuck up before you start painting a picture of brotherliness and all your B.S. I don't know how you guys manage to think you know more than the picture and videos that we see on TV. Do you think the whole world's against SA or sumn?? You guys flatter yourself. |
@DBR I've forgiven you guys so I'm not going to ether you anymore. Ibime begged me not to kill y'all's streetcred. ![]() D1KeleVra:Yo . . .I'm about to post the thread . . .I've not received your verse yet. Do you want me to wait?? ![]() |
i hear you, eldee. maybe you should go talk to nicholas cage. he thought he had smart people managing his finances until last year when he suddenly woke up to find he was in debt up to $40m! he started selling his nice houses and ranch to pay up uncle sam!
Yeah . . . and now you're saying 3/4 movies won't clear those debts of Nicolas Cage??Dude, when people like that go broke . . . they still live in a way you'll only dream of. You can hate him all you want, he's worth over 300mil . . . that won't change. |
eldee, keep fronting for p.diddy. i hope your here to console him when he turns broke after all this flamboyant spending!
That's in the past man . . . smart hiphop artistes don't get broke any more.Do you know how many investments this guy has going?? His real estate thingy, his Sean John line, his clubs . . . believe me, they've got smart people behind them planning their lives for them. Do you know how many accountants and managers depend on him to make a living?? This is probably interest from his investments. . . he bought a car and y'all are complaining, go check how much he spends on parties. |
@Sam Milla As Str8talk said, I'm fed with truth and lies, but also with the ability to make critical analysis. You compare Sout Africa to Germany?? Come the Bleep on . . . let's be reasonable here. I've never heard of Germans going on killing sprees against my own country. When Nigerians emigrate, they give reasons like the economy and stuff like that, 80% of emigrants from South Africa put the crime rate as one of their reasons for leaving. South Africa's number of rapes per capita is higher than those in warring countries . . . they top murder and assault leagues and you're telling me I'm part of the propaganda?? We hosted the Youth World Cup, good . . . that's nothing compared to the biggest thing in sport. Millions of people are not even going there to watch matches . . . you think the retarded xenophobic idiots don't know this?? When it's businessmen, there are areas that are reserved for them, you can't do the same in the World Cup, there's far too many people. That's why I'm saying it so easily, if you're going to SA, try as much as possible to stay in Cape Town. As for me and any reasonable Nigerian, it's once beaten twice shy. |
Sam Milla:It's more than one single statement . . . it's countless murders without convictions. It's the multiple rapes and things like that. I understand the need to support our African brothers . . . but it's harder now. This is a country with a crime rate that's tackling developing nations' stats. This is a country where there is pure undiluted racism against the rest of Africa. I'm not going to risk my life over football and I don't advice anyone to. |
Ebonyeyes:1. Current economic climate?? What of the guys at the GM that lost the fight to keep their jobs?? He's prolly saving sumone's job right now. 2. Graduates not finding jobs?? Not his fault, why're you not going after the banks that started the whole thing in the first place. 3. Bad Taste?? It's in bad taste for you to sleep in a room that has central heating when some people in Haiti live in cold tents. 4. His artistes aren't complaining are they?? These same artistes say, Young Joc earns more from one college show than my dad earns in one year with his degrees. Y'all need to leave a man to spend his money on what he considers important. |
@Str8talk At the end of the day . . . these guys have lawyers that tell them what to say and what part of the truth to include in their testimony. The question here is not whether it would have got him a reduced sentence, the problem is the fact that he thought it was morally more acceptable to kill a Nigerian than a South African. The fact that he saw the need to add that to his testimony is what scares me. In other countries, hate crimes attract heavier sentences to send the message to the public . . . but that's probably not the case in SA, as you said, 'it will sit better with their fellow countrymen'. So why should any sane person go there, especially when you know the killer might escape without conviction?? |
Rhymstein:Hehehe . . . as soon as he changes his sandbrown timbs ![]() |
Str8talk:That is an misconception. Last year's stats show that it is five per week and it's reducing. Now think of South Africa where most crimes like this aren't even recorded. |
Sam Milla:People kill everywhere . . . but where have you heard someone use 'I thought I was shooting a Nigerian' as a court defence?? His lawyer must have told him that will reduce his jail time. In order words, they are instituionally racist . . . to the point of murder. I would say South Africans are silly ignorant murderers and HIV infested vermins, but I'll just be civil and say I've only got one life and wound not let sentiments cloud my judgement. And I'll advice anyone going to South Africa to try as much as possible to stay in Cape Town. |
Rhymstein:Actions speak louder than words ![]() |
javalove:Nah . . . Modenine's message is 'stay poor'. ![]() These guys are saying do everything to be rich and successful, just don't go illegal. osasp:If I make a kitchen knife and someone buys it and decides to stab someone, am I a murderer too?? That's a stupid argument . . . don't yahoo boys spend more money on Starcomms internet services than anyone else?? Is Starcomms now illegal for providing the platform for them to scam people?? MI and Banky are providing music for everyone, now if the yahoo boys decide to spend their stolen money at these shows, it would be stupid to say they are helping them or vice-versa. Genuflect:Half the time . . . people on nojustok are just daft. It's more anonymous than NL so they just spew fuckery and get away with it. NL is comment driven, you spew fuckery once . . . everyone ties it to your username. |
I saw one reply in my Updated Topics list . . . and it's 'hmmmm' Na wa oooo . . . na so una hate Naija reach?? |
If we're going to start re-branding Nigeria, we must at least change the mentality of the young people. At least this was the concept behind this Naija All-Star collabo. How many times do you see a cypher that's not full of rappers trying to talk about how good they are?? Well this is probably a first. . . This is turning rappers from just cocky, successful plonkers to role-models. If music is the CNN of the youth, this is African Voices. Is it a great song?? Come on . . . this is Cobhams meets MI and Banky . . . we all know how good Rooftop MCs are and the vocals of Modele and the talent of Omawunmi help to get us in the music. . . oh shit, who's this Wordsmith guy?? Does it deliver the message?? In my opinion, it does. ''I'm living proof that there's dignity in labour'' . . . if the future leaders are saying this, then we have hope. M.I's 'are we cyber criminals, no we are the mineral resources of Nigeria' tells us that we are raw talents that can be sought after if well exploited. Apart from the fact they were just volunteers, you know rappers mean business when they give a whole new meaning to one of the most used words in hiphop culture . . . BLING. 'BLING in this case means we are 'Brilliant, Legitimate, Inspired, Nigerian and Great'. . .this is an attempt to allow a feeling of communal responsibility to diffuse to the listeners. For the first time, the right people are admitting that the easiest way to change the perception of Nigeria is to change the mentality of Nigerians. All in all, I think this song should be burnt on CDs and bumped in our rooms and cars to spread the message. http://www.notjustok.com/2010/01/28/leakmaga-no-need-pay-ft-banky-w-m-i-rooftop-mcs-omawumi-modele-bez-wordsmith/ |
ibkaye:It sounds so posh man. I think it's better than America where every street has a different accent. Chiogo speaks with the Cornward Avenue accent. ![]() |
