@DBR

Am I rubbing off on you or sumn??
You're appreciating lines that for their multi-syllabic rhyming??
This is a good thing . . . not just for NL, but for other Modenine fans.

At least they'll listen to you and agree that there's more to hiphop then punchlines and wordplay. wink wink

Run This Town/Posthumus Zone - Jay-Z ft Rihanna, ES Posthumus

Style outlives 'swagger', class outshines form, music outlives hiphop . . . watch Jay-Z do music.

Lol. Eldee, I wasn't being sarcastic. I actually felt the scope. Of course, flattering girls are so 90's, at least where I'm from sha
Hehehe . . . it's going to take a decade for Nigerian chics to understand that.
Till then, Angolan, Hispanic, Brit chics all the way grin grin

Tevez is not playing against Stoke FC this week also.
He has travelled to Argentina to feed his domestic animals. grin grin grin grin

I pity all the managers that had Tevez as their skipper.
What a monumental loss!!!
Mykali, you can start popping your champagne. grin[/quote]Adebayor is my captain . . . grin grin grin grin

Lmao. This CHAIRMAN1 is just crazy. You bash a broad then you ask for her number, Classic. Lol
That's how to do it man . . . wasting compliments is so old.
There are two types of girls in this world, those that are attracted to you and those that aren't.

Saying 'you look nice today' has little or no effect on what happens. grin grin

The two videos are good but I found the second one more interesting. I just liked the energy and diversity better. cool
I know . . . the first one was just a song, the second was a plea.

are u kiddinghuh? will MJ be happy with wat they didhuh? pls tell me

Vince vaughn doesnt care for Haiti just for the camera's, MJ selected who attended the taping back in 1985 so it wasnt just about any and evri celeb out, why didnt he choose Madonna, she was a big star back then, he carefully selected folks dat could sing/ those with star power
What's wrong with using all the 'star power' we can get??
Of what use is this star power if it cannot help the people the original song was written for . . . the needy??

MJ didn't care about who could sing or who couldn't sing what note.
All he wanted was for people to come together to support Africa. . . that version was a portrayal of the music scene in 1985.
Every genre standing up and offering a helping hand. . . musicians forgetting their ego and singing from the heart.

Wyclef's emotion on the song was next to none . . . this is the same guy that was in Haiti digging out bodies about two weeks ago.
80 artists, each of them pitching in what they could. . . helping out, can't you guys just be thoughtful for once??

You cannot say sumn that makes no sense at all just to drop a punchline or wordplay. . . it's illegal grin grin

I dropped a couple of lines the other day and everybody went mutallab on me because it was neither metaphorical nor punchline-ish
Nigerians love punchlines, that's what drives these guys to write B.S like . . . 'I'm not a star, I'm a planet bigger than Jupiter'. grin grin

Music/Radio › Re: " We Are The World"-- Michael Jackson **remake** (covers) by eldee(m): 9:50pm On Feb 13, 2010
I don't know why the quality of vocal chords or talent should be taken into consideration in a song that's all about unity in giving.

In the second video, I see artistes of different genres, not caring about the differences in their vocal abilities, artistry and status uniting to give all they can.
Who ever thought sumn could unite Celine Dion and Lil Wayne?? Carlos Santana and Miley Cyrus??
According to Kanye West . . . 'everyday citizens, everybody pitching in'.
This is what Michael woulda wanted. . . Hiphop, Soul, Disney, Pop, Country, RnB, Rock, Gospel, Rock n' Roll . . . name it.

I'm downloading already just to lend a hand.

Come on . . . I'm yours is a really good song, I just play it on repeat while I sleep.
What, you think I'll play Nas as I go to bed?? Cut the Legend some slack grin grin

FL Gators:
Its obvious that this song is directed at Lil wayne's "TI had to go stoopid" remark in his I WANT THIS FOREVER vid cheesy cheesy
You know I've heard that song two years ago and I still didn't know why he had a go at T.I.

They are not predictions as I'm not TB Joshua or any of the deluded megalomaniacs back home, just estimates of the opponent we are facing, and why exactly can't we go from a draw to 3 wins when we've done it before? or is it just because you want to let us know we can't win? possibly because you are actually afraid we can  undecided
Dude, I'm not talking about what we can do . . . I'm talking about what's more realistic.

Yeah, we've don't it before, so?? Does that mean it's more likely to happen??

All I'm saying is, it's more realistic for us to end up in the title challenge through Chelsea and Man Utd dropping point than us being consistent.

Maybe re-opening or creating a new Freestyle lounge would go a long way in reviving this board. for one, not everybody wants to battle, what about them keystlyes and cyphas? for some time, i've not been in battle mode (@ eldee; my bad for not replying your Pms, been caught up with so much, plus my mind-state. . .) and dropping some keystyles are not bad. i mean, we once had The Freestyle Rap Thread, The Lounge. . .
C'mon man, there's the Flow for Rank thread.
It does exactly the same thing. . . but if y'all are so into names, I could get lalaboi to open one.

I don't think your predictions are realistic.
All things being equal, Arsenal doesn't just go from a draw to three straight wins . . . come on.
