I want me direct strikers that know where the post is, not one that will only help bring others into play, when u play bigger teams, because of the experience and versatility of their backlines that GAMEPLAYING striker might not even manage a shot at goal, that is after recording 77 passes in a game . . . .case in point EDUARDO !!!

We need strikers that will score goals on big matchdays not us always relying on the ingenuity of FAB4 or some deep play from Song, our strikers are seriously lacking the guts to take a game by the scruff of the neck and deliver the goods

I have said it, both Chamakh and Bendtner arent Arsenal class, but where I agree with Debosky is on the issue of age being on Bartender's side, but yet I find it appalling that he has been believing his own lies, isnt he the same striker that went 10/11 games couple of seasons ago without tearing the net ? even in my jeun jeun days as a defender, I never went 3 games without scoring 

but fast forward, a couple of goals now and he thinks he has arrived, what would we hear next ?

The one where they make sure the hairline is perfectly straight and the edges are sharp, they use a small clipper or even a blade sometimes for precision.

No doubt VEC murdered with the lyrics but I thought he went overboard with the ad libs (kinda took away from the dope hook)

But I see your points.

1. Vector's ad libs are just English translations of the hook.
2. Vector's ad libs added a funny part to the song.
3. That's the easiest way for him to put his signature on a sample like Kanye's Golddigger, Jay's Forever Young.

Hehehe . . . if you use your rhyme pattern concept then M.I doesn't flow too.

That's why I said, I can't fault either of em on the flow, but overall . . .Vector takes it.

You see, what you say is 'no rhyme pattern' is technically 'dynamic, switching flow' to another person.
What you call seamless delivery by Ice Prince, is monotonous to another person.
That's why I said it's as good as Ice Prince based on where you're coming from.

Now when you look at the whole song, Vector is miles ahead with the lyrics.
He used simple but creative lyrics and utilised beat pauses perfectly, and his ad libs were sick too.

All put together makes Ice Prince's version good, but Vector's better.

On delivery, he was as good if not marginally better than Ice Prince.

People don't know the trick behind live music . . . there's an effect that live music has that digital production would never have . . . the echoes, the live drum kits, the bass guitar effect, the harmony of voices in the live band, and the list goes on . . . all these would easily cover up flaws . . . ask peops who know SSP very well, he has a horrible voice, not just hoarse n gritty but is perpetually off-key - he's got tone deafness or sumn . . . his mics n speakers are customized - peops who know him well would attest to that.

So you're saying the band covered him with one tongue and then, nah, the studio covered his flaws in another??
I've not heard him sing acapella, so I can't comment on that part, but I know that there was nothing off-key bout him when he played live.

I'm not arguing against the fact that he makes "good music" in a context . . . Eedris, Maintain, Ayangba Boyz all make good music but are they really professionals??

SSP is no Fela or Victor Uwaifo, but coming here to call tell me he's a 'wacko' and 'makes noise' is just wrong on every level.
You said he was all engineers and good band, and I pointed out the fact that not only does he compose and sing great music, he also plays instruments . . . now the goalpost has shifted to, it's only because he recorded his music live.

It depends from what angle you are looking at it.
You cant say Iceprince's work was weaker because he had a simple/basic lyrical content.
Vector was re-making the track so obviously he would try to hit harder than the original, which is why he focused on his wordplay.
He was very creative with his word play no doubt.
Ask Iceprince to do another version, he would prolly try to outdo VEC . . . . .it's a norm in the industry.

Iceprince on the other hand had a nice rhyme pattern to his flow that rode the beat perfectly for every bar without going outta line.

Yep . . . I said that already, Ice Prince wasn't as good as Vector but there are posible reasons for it.
But that doesn't mean Vector wasn't better.

He doesn't need to be smooth, the beat is sick enough to handle that. . . he just flossed on the delivery, changing flows is as catchy

And he had lines that were simple enough for those moments where the DJ pauses and everyone says the. . . 'Easy flow no wahala, spice it up so the girls can hola', 'Lately I've been crazy with the flow sotay won wa mi l'Aro' and he did his wordplay perfectly too 'I'm a big deal though(Love Machine) so she feeling the toy'.

Ice Prince killed it too, he went simple . . . why?? First single, it's a no brainer. There's a reason why M.I's most popular song is 'Safe'.
