Bayern hero Beckenbauer backs Bendtner bid
Bayern have been prominently linked with the Denmark international and Beckenbauer, who recently resigned as club president, certainly believes Bendtner is of the calibre required by the German Double winners.

Beckenbauer told the Daily Mirror: "Yes, he is among some players, who have done very well - both for Denmark and for his club, and who has got the class and the potential to play in a club like Bayern Munich, where we already have a lot of class players."
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=843282&sec=transfers&cc=5739&cc=5739

This guy is not even in our first team and he's 'one of the players with class to play in Bayern??' grin grin

Pick an Arsenal player and I'll compare his pass/minute ratio with Denilson . . . now I'll go through the pain of calculate everything, but I want you to put your money where your mouth is. . . it's going to be fun taking money off you. grin grin

keep shaking your head but ma point was. . . . .denilson cops high number of passes because he copss more minutes than the arsenal players who are skilled to retain possession. more minutes on the pitch should give him more passes than cesc, diaby, nasri, etc. as an aside, he also retains possession mostly in his half and his range of passing is 5-10 yards(high accuracy, less difficulty) unlike cesc, xavi or scholes or lampard whose range are between 5-60 yards(prone to inaccuarcy because of the difficulty involved). any slowpoke can make 2-10 yard passes and get away with them. it doesn't make them geniuses - only the fans of arsenal will celebrate denilson.
Stop saying he's not passing enough . . . 59 accurate passes per match last season was one of the best in the EPL.
Get it, this is a ratio . . . passes per match, so it eliminates the B.S about the others don't get many matches, and a proof of his consistency.

Now are those passes important?? Possession battles are won in the midfield . . . every  knows that.
And those passes help to hold the ball while creative players are finding spaces, that's why Arsenal is a possession team.
And to prove my thing about consistency, he had 45 minutes in the Everton Match and he produced half of his last season pass/match average.

i am not a dog, i don't bite but stop peddling false allegations against me.

if the earth remains spherical, denilson should not start for chelski. who can denilson ace in chelsea midfield? mikel is better than denilson. same as lampard, ramirez, essien and zhirkov. denilson is yet to cap a debut for brazil at 22. i mean, what other evidence do you guys need to know he's a mediocre player who retains possession in the area of the pitch where his markers are not interested in winning the ball from him.
So before, it was . . . he doesn't pass enough, then it became, his pass/match ratio was low . . . then it became, he only passes this good because no one tackles him . . . like seriously, what team lets you hold the ball in the midfield . . . SMH!!!

it is very poppy, with enough sick rhyming to still be very hip-hop as well.

funny you mentioned it. BP3 wasn't rap enough to bear the blueprint name. tongue
There's only one full 32 on any of the tracks . . . and it's almost like 808's and Heartbreaks with raps here and there.
Don't get me wrong, I rate it 9-10/10, but I don't know about y'all 'take it back to the streets' people.

And it's not poppy at all, those piano solos and creative stunts make pop music look childish.
I listened to a version with almost half the words bleeped out, but the instrument solos and beats were just next level. Kanye is a rock star that just happens to know how to rap.

Hehehe . . . So you think Venus Vs Mars, On To The Next One and Reminder are not hiphop enough??

Just couple appearances wey Denilson make last season, e dey score goals.

How many goals did Fab4 score prior to 09/10?

Am absolutely convinved that Denilson would be a good attacking midfielder. If you want him to produce attacking stats, release him to go forward. Denilson is easily one of the best midfielders in the prem. For the last 4 years, he's always been at the top of the passing stats.
You guys have Mikel there already, they do basically the same thing.

I don't know of the attacking part though, he'll definitely score, he's with Arsenal, but Arsenal is a flair team so I'm sure people will still want him off.

simple-mind you call it because you are simple-minded. when has denilson ever won man of the match in about 130 appearances for arsenal? none! he has never taken any game by the scruff of the neck. he hides. he doesn't dictate games and his number of passes is commensurate with the number of appearances. if other midfielders cop the same number of minutes than denilson, they will make more passes. that statistic is a fraud. i can understand an arsenal fan rating denilson. in the country of the blind, a cyclop like denilson is a king.
You're talking about passes and you call Arsenal the 'city of the blind'??
No offence but have you ever watched a football game in your life before??

I'm not going to make any further comments on this.

@eldee, you know its like a striker copping the golden boot and someone now comes along to say 'well, more than half were just tap-ins'. . . .simple mind I tell you.
That negro is why we're called a possession team, we all know what happens when we're not with the ball.
When coaches talk, they say . . . 'don't let them pass the ball around and you'll beat them'. They're managers, their jobs depend on this.

Those sideways passes, that he gives just gives creative players the chance to find that opening, it gives Walcott to run into that area, it takes off the job of Fabregas distributing the ball, simply, he's the reason Fabregas is scoring.
59 accurate passes per game last season . . .

We need to separate pub-gist from football, anyone can be a football fan, but watching football is a different thing.

you have your opinion and others are allowed to have theirs.

however, after all is said and done, you're still not a black woman.

and if steven spielberg, a white man, connects better with a black woman's world than black men, then there isnt much to say, really.
Your opinion is way too sentimental, it's blind to logic , I said Speilberg and EVERY other good director can portray the black woman right and you interpret it as 'Speilberg the white man understands the black woman but Lee Daniels can't' . . . you see why I said I won't take you serious??

Now a good director will portray war in a way that will trash a frontline soldier will, why?? Because he's that good.
Today's directors will trash a story from the 1800s like they were born then . . .
Lee Daniels didn't need to be a fat black woman to do an Oscar worthy Precious . . .

Now my point is, it's not about black or white, male or female, it's about good or crappy when you talk about movies . . . drop the Alice Walker act and see basic logic.

and yeah, J. Cole's album HAS BEEN shelved till spring lol. there's no release date. i don't think he'd drop it this close to the mixtape.
I knew it was shelved, I thought it was going to end up a December album, not spring.

willow and rihanna are definitely more important to jay-z right now. his influence is showing on rihanna's music especially. the new direction, since 'good girl done bad'. . . some would call it 'illuminati' though. i find it hard to believe that willow did that song on her own. its only in the chorus you can tell that it's a little girl. will and jada don't know too much about music, no offence lol.
It was just heavy studio work, Roc Nation has a massive team.

completely wasted. considering the fact that drake didnt sing the hook. havent heard it. knew it would be on the mixtape so i waited. since it's the same verses i'm not exactly looking forward to it. i wasn't such a big fan of the original anyways.
Drake did the hook after his verse.

Kinda true el but Jay Elect is not a new kid. He's already got the street, he just need to be unleashed to the street in a well timed manner.
