I'm likely to have at least one left-handed kid.
My grandad was left-handed, my dad is too . . . I got it too, so it's kinda dominant in my genes.

Bletherer:
okay so how many of us out there were scolded for using our left hands in school and at home.
Its considered backward, rude as its the unclean hand (ie to wipe your butt) and an alround sign of being retarded!!!!

So many brilliant people are lefties, including president obama,

So should one discourage ones kids from using the left in this day and age??, or is it old traditionhuh??
I'm your case-study.
I was left-handed as a kid. . . infact, I still brush my teeth with my left hand.

As a kid, I got forced to switch to my right by my mum and my teacher.
I got forced to use my right to write, eat and do basically everything.
Even in football . . . I was persecuted for using my left foot.

I only stopped eating with my left hand at 15 or sumn . . . 'reason, disgracing my family at parties'
I now do most things with my right hand, my left still works okay though, but not as good as before.

@eldee, who cares about how many 7-0 wins chelsea gets, is that such a strange phenomenon to you, an Arsenal fan? Ive always looked at my team. How does there wins rubbish the kind of football we play?  undecided

Arsenal, this self defeatist thing we seem to get wont get us anywhere. We all love to hold up Sol Campbell for other players as example of spirit. Maybe we ought to look at him ourselves.

Abeg this cheerleader thing don tire me sef  undecided. . . .Chamahk has come, Arsene dont sell Cesc. We'll take it fromt here. . .
Abeg forget that side . . . we knew what we had claim to as Arsenal fans, especially post-Wenger.
We could lose playing champagne football . . . isn't that what Wenger sold to us along with the youth system thing??

You're blaming me for Arsenal's fate?? If Wenger had my defeatist stance, he'd have done sumn about it.
It's almost like he's the only one that doesn't know what's going on. . . even his players know.

Campbell left us when we needed him the most . . . I'm definitely not going to respect any player that leaves the stadium at half time to vanish for two paid weeks.

@eldee, you want to count how mnay he won with us?
Let's be truthful here . . . use your church-mind, do you see us winning sumn next season??
Henry has more chances of winning the Champions League with Chicago Horse Power than us winning the League.

You know we don't have anything over Chelsea any more, our beautiful football claim was rubbished with their 7-0 wins.

Music/Radio › Re: 'Nigerian' Hip Hop Doesnt Make Sense by eldee(m): 7:44am On May 18, 2010
IMO . . . there's actually nothing like Nigerian Hiphop yet.
What we have now in most rappers is just basic hiphop from Nigeria.

Our hiphop will remain generic till we have a distinct sound and range of subject matters that are relatively Nigerian.
There wasn't anything that separated Brit Hiphop from American hiphop till the 90s . . . and now it's formed into it's own distinct subgenre.

I don't see anything wrong in doing conventional hiphop though . . . they started it, we're not obliged to deviate from what they gave us.

@Hax
Dude mehn K'Naan is more than just a rapper! His music is too deep to call it just rap. He is a modern day poet, philosopher and story teller. I listen to a lot of shake bodi music but when i want to hear that meaningful ish K'Naan is one of the fellas i bump to. By the way Dusty Foot Philosopher is way better than Troubadour
I recommend tracks like:
Smile
What's Hardcore
In the Beginning
In my head
If Rap gets jealous[/quote]If someone's not impressed with T.I.A, ABCs or Waving Flag . . . there's no way he'll be able to feel songs like Soobax, I Was Stabbed By Satan and Until The Lion Learns To Speak.
It's probably not just his type of music.

It's not his voice, it's his ability to compose good music. . . like a Fela or sumn.

When did SHE become a movie/musical huh
Well . . . since she started being that hott.
We really need to examine the screenplay when she wears shades, and see if directing is nice when she swerves her hair and we also need to check out the sound effect her voice has on men . . . yeah, how can we forget the visual effect that occurs when she bares it all.
