Congratulations. Honestly I don't know anyone there, but paderborn is not a bad place so to speak. it's in NSW which is Germany's industrial hub, and moreover the city of paderborn has lots of good IT companies.

some people did their interview without transcripts. It was not specifically stated on the official checklist.

No doubts, but it's good you go with it nevertheless. cos you never can tell what you will encounter that fateful day. Don't leave anything to chance.

There is no specific order in arranging documents for visa interview. It's mostly done according to the way oga Paulinus wants it. so for each original documents make sure you put it's photocopies (two) at the back for easy sorting cos oga paulinus might not be that patient with you and might embarrass you if you are not responding fine.

But funny enough when you get to the interview proper, the visa officer will arrange your documents the way he or she wants. All the same just make sure you are prepared and be very smart enough. Hope you have read some visa interview transcripts from those who just travelled.

I want to confirm the difference between Age Declaration done in court and that is declared at National population commission.because I was told that after doing the one at the high court they still need to take it to NPC be offices in surulere Lagos. please I will be most grateful if given speedy response at I intend doing it tomorrow morning.please ASAP. if you above that particular year as stated in the requirements by the embassy (I think 1990 or there about) then all you need is an age declaration as desposed by the head of the family. But if you are below it, then you need the NPC stuff.

That's the difference. Hope you find it helpful.

Honestly I can't really say much about it, as I don't really know what exactly they are referring to. But you could ask the program coordinator of the course, I believe he or she will respond accordingly.

Meanwhile someone here proffered a wonderful solution to that few days ago and if you are very observant, you will notice that such problems are no longer discussed here as people have found solutions to this.

Another person is asking for schools to apply for his field of interest. For goodness sake what happened to daad.de and google. Have we not said this countless number of times here. Why are you making yourself a potential maga for this crooks. Even at that, you need to show that you have taken some initiatives on your own, before seeking for further assistance on this.

We have been saying this on several occasions, please take some time to read and learn from people's experience. it's all free and priceless, infact very informative. Don't just come to the very last page of the thread and start throwing questions any how. Moreover there's a search engine on this thread, that will enable you get answers to your queries quickly if you don't intend to read all through.

I made mention of we not condoning lazy attitudes and encouraging people to carry out due diligence if this is what you are interested in. But some peeps here find it disgusting. I am not saying people should not ask questions, but please if you must ask, make sure you have done some homework yourself. Ask technical, confusing questions which is most likely peculiar to the subject in question.

Now look at it, what do we have here today, people complaining of being scammed of their hard earned money, which is as a result of we condoning lazy tendencies which will be obviously taken advantage of by scammers. Thereby giving the moderators so much work and a lot to worry about.

This gory tales is not heard of here prior before now. What do you think our wonderful veterans will do if this trend continues here. Little wonder we don't hear from them much more. Maybe we might end up not having this anymore... God forbid anyway. Please lets help ourselves to help others.

I already ask for an extension letter from the school but they didn't grant me one

so sorry I didn't check the date properly I thought you said 29th February. you are good to go with the above date bro, but just make sure say you block before you go for interview if you dont want any possible delay.

Anyone know exactly when admission letters will start to be given out since some schools say that their application deadline is on the 15th January. While some 1st December is application deadline.

It all depends on the school. Different strokes for different persons. Different schools with different policies. Just be patient and prayerful. God will make it happen for you.

The school you are applying to will most likely tell you how they want their documents to be certified. But if not specific, then it's most likely to be done at the high court.

Take along with you originals of your document for sighting together with photocopies of the documents you intend to certify.

Certification is done at the state and federal high court, notary public, German consulate or embassy.

Is it possible to ask for your appointment date to be moved forward if your enrolment deadline is close.

Appointment dates are more or less of a scarce commodity. The consulate will advise you cancel within a specified time listed on your letter. And you are not guaranteed of a choice date as well as another appointment.

What you can probably do is to get an enrollment deadline extension from your school so that you will be able to meet up with the time specified for student visa processing.

No, you are required to pay in the 8640 + bank charges which is dependent on the financial institution you choose to use. I think for fintiba it's 8829.

You will have to pay your tuition fees when you get to your school. They will tell you how to make payments for it. And moreover there is no special requirements from the embassy for this. The embassy is more or less interested in the 8640.

Go to a university close to you, meet the HOD of a department close to your course or your course proper. take your time to explain to him that you will be sending in your transcript to their department to enable you pick it up for further admission processing in Germany. make sure you present yourself clearly.

I think with this, they have no option than to grant your request as its school to school.

Then I was told that, aside the appointment confirmation email, I will need to request for a gate pass (permit) from the Consulate General, and that the Consulate General will have to Authorize my appointment. And for this I am required to pay the sum of N30,000.00

To the very best of my knowledge, Germany has prospects for business and economics related field aside technology. Economics happens to be a restricted course in some universities funny enough. If they can boast of having one of the strongest economy in Europe and the third highest exporting countries in the world then you should know that they don't joke with such disciplines, therefore there should be good prospects for such fields of study.

The hustle is very good, though somehow dependent on your city. If you are very prudent, you will end up not using your €8640. That's if you happen to get a very cheap accommodation from studentenwerk or any other available cheap one.

If you are very good with programming and some other relevant IT skills, you can get very good HIWI jobs from some research institutes which pay around €1000 or more than.
