thanks for the reply.. One more thing, where does the scholarship come to play? do u still 4 d scholarship?
sorry for sounding blunt, it's very obvious from your questions you didn't read through this thread. What do you do with your time bro, are you sure you desire to study in Germany at all. cos the way you are going presently is not ideal.

For newbies, pls spend your time wisely, read and research out facts as it relates to your future. There are several programs being taught with English language, please search for schools offering your course of interest or related courses of interest too, spend ample time to go through the curriculum, know what they stand to offer, know what you stand to get,

ask questions in relation to your choosen choice of study, try to find out what the future holds, pray and prepare your package to the different schools.

One love brethren. Its well with us all. May the good and gracious God guide us as we soujourn to a new pathway.

Goodmorning house, please I want to know if I should send my passport with insurance by post to embassy or take the documents to embassy myself after getting AM.please am waiting for your reply
if you are in Lagos and your enrollment date is very close, I will suggest you take it there yourself to hasten up the process. make sure you are there hours before 1.30pm. If you happen to stay far away from lagos, you can use DHL or any courier service with good efficiency to send it to them. cheers

Please my good people, I need help in finding tuition free universities for M.Sc. Logistics and Supply Chain Management, I am January 2019 hopeful, kindly help out please.
This your course na hotcake ooo, which seems to be a reason why they charge heavy tuition. As regards your request, some of the courses with free tuition are taught in German, few a mixture of German and English and very few English.

For the English language masters taught courses with free tuition, kindly check out the following program

* Global supply chain and operation management, Berlin school of economics and law, Berlin

** logistics, Dresden international university

*** Business Admin- supply chain management, university of cologne

Hope this helps, all the very best. Cheers

I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS;

HOW DO I ARRANGE MY DOCUMENT FOR THE INTERVIEW?

MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS THE TYPE GIVEN TO ME BY THE HOSPITAL SOME FEW MONTHS AFTER BIRTH AND IT ALSO CARRIES STAMP. WILL THIS TYPE BE ACCEPTED?

I WILL BE WAITING FOR A RESPONSE.
*kindly check interview transcripts of people who posted their experience here, a good number of people here explained this in details.

** Did they tell you to get birth certificate, seems you are joking with fire, paulinus never baptize you abi, lol. Oga no let rejection visit you on that fateful day. pls get the required documents ie npc certificate or age declaration as deposed by the family head.

Pls try to read and learn from experiences of others, there's no short cuts to destiny. All the very best.

Please I need know if fintiba is better in term of block acc opening. Thanks .
In life, we have options available to choose. Fintiba happens to be quite fast, easier and convenient. Xpatrio I guess should be in the same category, just difference in their mode of operation and charges. For deutsch bank, their wahala no be here.

so you have to decide which is better for you, as the choice is yours to make when you must have made informed decisions from information you will get from their different websites

Hello guys, my question is after funding a blocked acct for visa, is it a one time thing or you fund twice since masters is 2 years ? Or what’s the duration of the visa
That's what you need for the visa. As regards the second year, you are given opportunity to hustle while studying. Your pay will comfortably finance your second year most times, unless you papa na otedola or dangote or adenuga, you know what I mean.

Your visa is for three months I guess, when you go, you extend it at the auslanderbehorde, some places will give you straight two years while some give you one year and tell you to come to renew it with proof of the second year money in your account.

Hope this helps. cheers

Happy weekend to you all.
Pls I saw the requirements of one of the institution I'm intending to apply....
"Applicants must verify that their command of German satisfies the requirements of level C1".
Pls what does this mean?
Oga better look for another better alternative, cos that one no be for you. BTW, what it means is that your command of the use of German language and it's comprehension is very very very high. That is to say you sabi rap German very well, if possible you sabi rap German pass schweinteiger or klinsmann. The highest level of language comprehension is C2, so imagine where C1 dey.

I am also having the same issues on transcripts also
look for a private firm you are very sure you have access to receive any document sent to them, or go to any university close to you, meet the HOD of a department related to your discipline or possibly your discipline, make your intentions known with valid convincing reasons ie you need the transcript by hand to enable you apply for admissions in Germany stating the stipulated format of the universities in Germany. Your school will send the transcript to the specified designation and you go there to pick it up.

Please SOS. Got admission last week, want to book for a visa appointment but the notification on the embassy portal getting me worried.
I will suggest you apply for a date attaching your admission letter, fintiba opening confirmation details or sponsorship letter if you have one and international passport data page to student@lago.diplo.de, you might be very lucky to be given a date. learnt some people might be cancelling their appointment as they are not able to meet up, so they might quickly fix you in to fill the void.

Also pray earnestly for God to grant you favor before their sight, remember He has not stopped doing good. Nothing is impossible with God. All the very best.

Hi eldeee I'm currently applying for daad scholarships for developing countries. By any chances do u know how many number of scholarships daad gives each year? I'm just wondering what are the chances of getting this scholarship. Also what are the post study conditions of daad like can you stay in Germany
If you applying for daad, pls you have to do that fast, as a good number of them will be over by October this year, some Sept, depending on the field of study though.

Honestly I really don't know how many slots they give per year, but your chances of getting the offer depends on how well you package your application with the required documents needed for the scholarship and the grace of God too.

I really don't know if the German government will monitor your stay during and after studies, but you could smartly enroll for a PhD and use that one to buy time off to avoid coming back to meet buhari, lol.

You can give it a shot nevertheless, who knows, you might get favoured. Remember our paths to destiny are never the same. Everyone with his or her own level of grace.

For some other scholarship offers, which are also available, you just need to have a b1 or b2 in German language to access them. They are very much available, it's just the issue of the language.

All the very best.

@Johndoefoo,

https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-en/service/visa/student-research-and-language-course-visa/1015536

Yes, it's necessary you take the prepaid envelope along with you, unless you don't intend to get your visa and documents after interview.

If there's no other options left available for you, you may use the old international passport, but we don't want to have a problem of the consulate mistakenly putting the visa on your old passport, that's why people do avoid using it. Alternatively you can use your school ID card, national ID card, drivers license etc as this docs contain your pictures and details.

The biometric specifications is 35mm by 45mm. And your face should cover 3/4 of the entire picture.

Hope this helps. Good success in all. cheers.

I am very sorry to disturb. It I get a scholarship, will it cover the €8700?

Any suggestion on how to go about the scholarship?Danke!
I would suggest you consider the options for scholarship as option Z, frankly speaking the requirements for obtaining a german scholarship is quite tough. if you observe clearly a good number of us here are looking for a way out either through SL or BA.

But if you wanna try, then look out for DAAD scholarships, Heinrich boll, or one MBA scholarship like that (kofi Annan scholarship for African students) or you just make google your girlfriend.

wish you the very best of success in your endeavors.

Cheers
