Is it true; that lawyers that are not barristers cannot defend their clients in case?

This is a good development. I hope it is not fake news. The Nigeria Immigration Service is next. This should also be applied to International passport too. For adults who are above 35yrs and would not change facially over a 10 yr period should be allowed to apply this option once, while children must be recaptured upon renewal. Those above 35 would agree with me; that the way they looked when they were in their late twenties is not the same way they looked in their late 30s, especially if your married.

This is very serious. Two young men who allegedly stole a vehicle in the picture below at night - got more they bargained for as they returned it the next day (which is today) but not the same way they took. In a trending video footage posted online, the young thieves removed their clothes totally in front of shocked passersby and used them to wash the car.

One of the thieves was spotted with a long snake round his neck as seen in the pictures as he danced and wriggled his body in a reptile like manner.

The other one used his cloth to wash the car from a dirty stagnant water on the road...

While all this was happening, the large crowd mocked and laughed at the thieves as they made a fool of themselves publicly.

They were later taken away by security operatives after the eyeful 'entertainment'.

The ATM queue was long, I was the next in line to make withdrawal. The bank has about 7 Atm machines with only 3 working on that day, the other 4 machines can only check balance or transfer.
The man approached me telling me he's in urgent need and needs to go somewhere that he should make a transfer to my account and I help him withdraw it. I gave him my account number and he transferred from one of the non-paying ATMs. I withdrew it for him on the paying machines

Oh ok! Since he used one of the ATMs to transfer from his account to your account then the CCTV for that ATM can be used to match his face, the transfer and time of transfer. This information will support your claims.

A middleaged man approached me to help him withdraw cash by transferring cash to my account. I agreed to help him due to his urgency. I never knew he used a stolen card! So true. I experienced this in 2010 at Charles De Gaule airport. Immediately I exited the plane, someone was checking passport. The way they went through my passport and visa! It was so embarrassing for me. It was as if I sneaked into the plane from Nigeria. I dont like transiting there. If you make a mistake like missing your boaring gate you will know they are insulting you from the way they are speaking french to you.

Sure there is racism in the US, no doubt about that just like in any other Non African countries. The only difference is the magnitude. In Nigeria we are not experiencing racism but oppression, tribalism, nepotism etc. Do you know that the ordinary traffic warden on the street can oppress you if you don't have connections or you are not a Lawyer? By the time you get to the station, the story can change against you in your very eyes. Nigeria my country. How many hardworking youths are roaming the streets in search of job opportunities? At the end they turn to beggars, begging relations for money. Even in Nigeria, relations tend to avoid these unemployed individuals. At least in US, if you are a legal immigrant and not lazy, you can feed your family and live a simple life. With adequate planning you can predict the future to some extent and pay your mortgage. You don't have to loot money to pay your mortgage. How many years can we predict in Nigeria? Thats why Nigerian banks don't like giving loans. I think the forum should be on how parents can handle acculturation and keying into the American dream.

My People,
The quality of education is eroding rapidly in this country. The brightest and best (myself inclusive) are not teaching, but are in the banks and multinationals. Why do I say this, the home tutor I got for my kids due to my tight schedule is an apology. A graduate that cannot convert from fractions to decimals. The reason why I even have a home tutor is because the teacher in my childs school is another apology. Smh. So many private schools in the country and yet we are in this sorry state.
At times like these I remember Late Sunny Okosun's song "Which way Nigeria". I think it is a deliberate act by ...(you know them).
The solution is to increase the salary of teachers to atleast N100,000 per month, we will surely have quality teachers in these public schools that will rival the private schools.
