In all, the Adelekes have shown their political strength in Osun state. Winning with an unpopular party at short notice shows strength and popular acceptance of the particular candidate by the people. APC had a lot of advantage over Accord and Adeleke, but people power prevailed.

After his tenure, if he choose to “retire” to the Senate, which is the usual practice, his opponent at that time would have a strong battle and a powerful candidate to contest against.

With Oyebamiji’s score, is it not clear that APC put up a fight to win, whether by hook or by crook? It is delusional to think that Tinubu did not want APC returned in Osun state.

If Adeleke supported Atiku, his then party’s candidate in 2022, who says that Adeleke cannot support Hashim who offered him total support for victory yesterday? So you think that it is automatic for Adeleke to continue his so called support for Tinubu in 2027, forgetting that now the ball is in his court and Tinubu has to appeal to him, just like Atiku and others?
