RomanceRe: If You Can’t Handle This, Don’t Date A Single Mom by ElevationD: 8:40pm On Jan 13
Godfullsam:
Those ones will never tell you they are single mothers except there is no way to hide it
Most women never hide the truth. It is the men who deceive themselves, in the face of the honest truth, when they go in search of perfection.
RomanceRe: If You Can’t Handle This, Don’t Date A Single Mom by ElevationD: 8:17pm On Jan 13
Dpsychologist:
Let’s drop the sugarcoating and speak plain truth. Dating a single mother is not romance movie material. It’s real life. If you’re not built for it, you’ll suffer and she’ll suffer more. This isn’t hatred. It’s honesty.

I’ll keep it simple and relatable.

1. You will never come first. Ever.
If her child is sick and you’re having a bad day, guess who waits. You.
If school fees are due and you want a weekend getaway, plans are cancelled.
If you need to be number one in a woman’s life, this lane is not for you.

2. Her past is not theory. It’s active reality.
That baby didn’t fall from the sky. There is an ex somewhere.
Co parenting calls. Family ties. Old wounds.
If small jealousy already dey choke you, this situation will finish you.

3. Responsibility will find you, even if you run.
You say “I’m not the father.” Fine.
But wait till school resumes, rent is due, or hospital bills show up.
Reality doesn’t respect motivational quotes. Pressure will knock.

4. Her time is scheduled, not spontaneous.
You can’t just say “I’m outside” at 11pm.
You can’t randomly disappear and reappear.
Her life runs on routines. If you hate structure, you’ll feel trapped fast.

5. Emotional stress comes in bulk.
You’re not just dealing with her moods.
You’re dealing with a child’s emotions, an ex’s influence, and family opinions.
One small misunderstanding can turn into a full-blown crisis meeting.

6. Stability is not optional, it’s required.
Inconsistency is cute when you’re 22 and carefree.
With a single mom, it’s an instant red flag.
If you’re still “finding yourself,” please find yourself elsewhere.

7. You don’t gain what you think you gain.
She’s not there to build you.
She’s not there to fund you.
She’s not there to emotionally babysit you.
If sex is the main attraction, both of you are just passing time.

8. Manipulation can happen if you’re not sharp.
Some will gaslight you with “you knew I had a child” anytime accountability comes up.
Others will weaponize guilt.
If you’re emotionally weak, you’ll be confused and drained.

9. Society will talk and you’ll hear it.
Friends will whisper. Family will advise.
“You could have done better” will start ringing in your head.
If you’re easily influenced, pressure will push you out anyway.

10. Love alone is not enough here.
This setup needs patience, money, maturity, and thick skin.
If you don’t have at least three, you’re not ready.

Final truth:
If you can’t handle responsibility, structure, delayed gratification, emotional stress, and public judgment, don’t date a single mom. Not because she’s bad. But because you’re not ready.

And this applies beyond single mothers.
If you can’t handle real life complications, don’t date anyone seriously.

Dating is not sympathy work.
It’s readiness.

Be honest with yourself.
It will save you, and it will save her.

Sorry bro, in practice, it may not be as completely stated above.

There are single moms who hand over their children to the children’s fathers/her own parents/ophanages, etc, and go about their normal lives without looking back. In short, there are single ladies who do not care about their babies. The ones who only think about themselves

southsouthking:
I never knew the extent of Fayose's illiteracy, until this interview

No wonder he is friends with Wike; full of sounds and fury, but very empty

Can he go through that interview and see how incoherent he is?

He was employing irrelevant native sayings to make pointless points
Ayo Fayose and Wike think and act
He’s always been noisy and lousy.

It was very funny hearing such words from him.

When Ayo Fayose himself became the governor of Ekiti state for the first term in 2003, well established figures in Ekiti opposed him. He had the likes of Chief Afe Babalola, Femi Falana, etc, who claimed that he was not learned enough to be the governor of Ekiti state. His certificate was another issue. Baba Obasanjo helped him out until the two fell out over the poultry issue.

If Fayose could claim that he was unjustly impeached, how has he turned around to support the impeachment of Fubara, knowing fully that it is unjust? Anyway, Fayose is simply trying to stay politically relevant, clutching on to Wike and BAT.

So says Labour Party and Obidients' Chief Propagandist on Nairaland.

We however believe Otti's opponents that are saying his alluded infrastructural progress in Abia are mainly white elephant projects, and chiefly of the audio varieties.
That’s your own business. Believe whatever you like and face your own state. I am very certain that you must be from one of those states where you governor does not have any business with accountability.

Let those from Abia state, who know their state talk about their leaders.

Thank you very much, Mr. Defender of the association of political crooks.
PoliticsRe: Ginger Onwusibe Lacks The Moral Locus To Call Past Abia Administrations “egypt” by ElevationD:
Abia state never experienced freshness and joy between 1999 under Orji Uzor Kalu and the catastrophic Thoedore Orji and Ikpeazu years.

While the state bled from wasted resources within those years, these ones who try to spin a political narrative against Alex Otti, forget so quickly that citizens are not fooled by Orji Uzor and his co-travelers, with the goodness the people presently see and experience in the state.

Orji Uzor served eight tortuous years and handed over to Theodore Orji, who at the time was detained. He came out and continued the wastage, before handing over to the cantankerous kerosene donating Ikpeazu.

Orji boasts of building the roads during his tenure and Alex Otti now paints them. What a shame that he made such a comment. When he used the word “paint”, who was he trying to deceive that dilapidated roads are painted, instead of being reconstructed? If the roads that he built during his tenure were leading to several communities and were is bad shape, did he not expect a reasonable governor to rebuilt them?

Thankfully, Abia state has a man coming from the finance sector, who understands how to handle financial issues more than these political deceivers. When they say Alex Otti supporters/praise singers, they forget that they refer to the entire decent citizens of Abia state, who suffered too many years of neglect, arising from the uncommon looting of their patrimony. It took Ikpeazu several years during his tenure to build a little bridge and even at that it was poorly constructed.

Thankfully Alex Otti is gradually cleaning the mess that they left behind and giving Abia state a new breathe of life. All sectors of the economy are being touched. I wonder how they expect all public hospitals to be fixed in one day, when the state manages its finances. If these politicians can just bring out portions of what they embezzled from that state, would all those institutions not work overnight?

Anyway, they say it’s all politics. Orji Uzor Kalu’s brother wants to contest the governorship on the platform of APC and they want state presence. Ikpeazu and Orji were roundly defeated in the last elections, as Obi’s name was there. Now Otti has added performance that people can see. He set a benchmark and the sounds are across the nation. How can the three ex governors defeat him? Infact, where will Theodore Orji or Ikpeazu start from?

90% of pastors are on this table.

That said, there's nothing like seeing the future in Islam. That is only for prophets and there is no prophet after prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) so this olopameta is only a dajjal (wicked liar) and must be completely disregarded.

In fact, wbat he did (claiming knowledge of the unseen) is an act of apostasy in Islam.

Unfortunately, alfa in yoruba land and many african cultures is almost synonymous to babalawo.
If 90% of Pastors are fake and there is nothing like seeing the future in Islam, then it is simple to say and you must absolutely agree to it that 100% of the Alfas and Islamic clerics are fake. Your comment above clearly spelt it out.

If what your Alfa said was apostasy, you should agree easily, that all those Alfas and Islamic clerics out there are 100% fake.

PoliticsRe: Police Strike Bandits Camp With Helicopter In Kogi (Video) by ElevationD: 6:50pm On Jan 12
Jakumo:
This is encouraging news. I stand corrected. Good to see that police helicopters can take the fight to military levels of firepower.

With that said, this video clip still looks very odd and incongruous. The helicopter is flying way too low for safe passage over any active war zone where RPG and small arms fire would be a real danger, and secondly, the people on the ground look relaxed, which would not be the case if that helicopter's door gunner was spraying them liberally with machinegun fire.

If the story behind the video is that the area had ALREADY been secured after the terrorists had been chased away, leaving armed vigilante and military men on the ground as those houses burned, then the low altitude of the helicopter, the calm demeanor of those on the ground, and the absence of return fire from the ground, would all add up to a plausible scenario.

Since the claim being made about this video is that the helicopter was actively strafing the ground, with all the targeted individuals just standing in clear view, then I would be forced to reach for my bullchit whistle on this particular video clip.
You already got it.
The helicopter was flying low as the entire area had been secured. Notice that the men on ground were quite casual, feeling safe, as the place had been secured and they had set fire to the location.

I think that we must praise our military when the right things are done. I am of the opinion that it was the lackadaisical attitude and sabotaging efforts of certain officers, in conjunction with crooked leaders in the country, that he brought us to this precipice.

Once again, I think that the attack of Donald Trump brought about this seriousness and change. Hopefully these vampires should be completely flushed out before the end of the year, if the tempo is sustained. Bear in mind that the principal incentive for these evil people, is the mineral resources found in those communities that they attack. Cow rustling and kidnapping are just the side shows.

We had the finest and sweetest sports commentators on radio that even if you listen, you could feel the passion, energy and excitement.

To be honest, modern football is dead.
My brother, my brother, no be small.
Too many strong teams everywhere then.
There was ACB, Racca rovers, Bendel Insurance, IICC shooting stars, Julius Berger, First bank, ITT, Police machine, Nigerdock, Lipton, Concord, Mighty jets of Jos, Iwuanyanwu, Leventis United, etc. Those were the golden years of Nigerian football. If you missed the national stadium, Onikan or the present Teslim Balogun during weekends, you missed a lot. It was crazy. Lagos was peaceful, the whole country peaceful.

Remember Maracana stadium, Ajegunle or marine beach, where stars were made.
PoliticsRe: Police Strike Bandits Camp With Helicopter In Kogi (Video) by ElevationD: 3:50pm On Jan 12
Jakumo:
Pellow Kwantiri-mans this video clip get K-leg BECAUSE the Nigerian police do NOT own a single "attack" helicopter. Police helicopters in Nigeria perform the same functions as police helicopters anywhere else, namely for surveillance and transportation.

In this video clip, we see a burning village with lots of people standing around the place calmly BECAUSE they are NOT under attack from the helicopter circling above. Most likely this village was set aflame by terrorists, following which Nigerian troops carried out a counter attack that sent the terrorists fleeing.

With the village back in the hands of federal troops, the helicopter was sent to have a look at the area, where it circled very low without frightening anyone on the ground because all the people on the ground knew the terrorist attack was over, and that the helicopter was there as part of the security response.

The Nigerian Air Force is in fact executing numerous successful air strikes against terrorists in their camps, but this footage is NOT related to any of those ongoing ground attack operations. If the helicopter from which this footage was filmed had been firing at the ground, NOBODY on the ground would be standing by casually sight-seeing as shown in this video clip because they would be shooting back or running helter-skelter to avoid getting strafed from above.
Nigerian police owns Bell 412 Helicopters armed backdoor with GPMG for counter Terrorism operations.

The NPF has been employing the use of lightly armed Bell Helicopters for CT operations with the role of reconnaissance, SAR, Special Forces operations, etc. The Nigerian police has an air wing.

Correct yourself.

Segun Odegbami aka The Mathematical Man.

The only player that uses mathematics to destroy football opponents grin grin grin grin grin grin
In those days, Nigerian players were very exciting to watch. It was all about the skills, the dribbles. Our football copied the Brazilian style and people were always talking about jogobonito samba. Football was like music, until European football brought in the money and European kick and follow ball, as it was then called. The likes of Arsene Wenger and Guardiola tried to bring that football beauty back, but the likes of Mourinho wanted the kick, follow and win matches.

Do not forget that Messi once was touted to play football as if he was on the streets. The streets then was where you could find the best of skills and players. That’s why Messi is called the greatest today.

Nigerian football with the likes of Odegbami made citizens sleep in front of the national stadium on Friday nights waiting on very long queues on saturdays to watch. Amesiamaka was simply sweet and exciting. There were too many great players. Tarila Okorowanta, Friday Ekpo, Etim Esin, Taribo West (Papilo), Samson Siasia, Mudashiru Lawal, Owolabi, Aloysius Atuegwu, Christian Madu, etc.

Principal cup played in those days brought out some of the biggest talents, who went straight from secondary school to football teams. There were CMS grammar school, Igbobi, St. Finbarrs, Eko boys High school, Saka Tinubu, St Gregory’s, Trinity secondary school, etc in Lagos. Others were in the present Anambra state, Enugu, Imo state, Abia state and so on.

Abeg make we forget. Nigeria too sweet before until these horrible politicians come take religion and tribalism scatter everywhere.

Fulani dey group up for night and revenge. Will Ekpoma boys be willing to stay up at night to keep the vigil? Again, it is well known that there exist too many saboteurs among them, who give information to these vampires.

Ekpoma people, the Fulanis, Hausas and all northerners have lived in peace for too many years, irrespective of religious belief. These vampires from wherever have brought confusion among them. Hopefully they can be flushed out of the whole of Ekpoma, Uromi, Igueben and other parts of Ishan land.

It has become a norm to see them invading your farm and you keep quiet. Inspite of those efforts, these evil people still visit at night with wickedness. They are either kidnapping or stealing all forms of metals and iron. I think it is time for all citizens to rise up and defend themselves as said by Gen T Danjuma.

Imagine the pot calling the kettle black.
Reno Omokri who was desperate for a position, jettisoning his own principals, GEJ and AA to latch on the APC and Tinubu, to get the ambassadorial position.

When people like Omokri question Obi’s qualifications to become the President, one cannot but question Omokri’s qualification to become an ambassador. Aside from writing books and abusing leaders who fight to get votes, what else can he boast of? As an Itsekiri man from Delta state, why not try to get votes and become as little as a councillor. The last election showed Obi defeating him completely in his place.

Using Obi’s name simply puts food on his table. Obi’s name pays him more on his social media pages than anything else that he claims. Just like his friends Bwala and Onanuga, Obi’s name puts food on their table. Obi’s name secured the ambassadorial position for Omokri, otherwise hungry for don finish am. Just like Wike, Omokri has not denounced PDP. He remains there, while working for APC. Who is more desperate?

So when Omokri calls Obi desperate, what should we call him? A desperate desperado!

And to you, Obi is the Saint in government that the Nigerian youth are waiting for, even though his past governance profile is far from your political hype of him.

From his lofty political platform pre 2023, Obi has fallen just to become a regional champion, as most of those that supported him from other regions has since decamped to other parties, just like him.
Even Obi told the whole world that he is not a saint. That’s accountability. Is that not better than having leaders who promised since 2014 to make life better for citizens, eliminate corruption caused by PDP and turned around to be the chief looters. You support them and now pretend that you live well.

Maybe you were a baby when Buhari contested the Presidency right from 1999 and failed severally. You all labeled him a regional champion until he became your President. Your BAT was a regional champion with AD/AC/ACN until he became the President with APC. Why deceive yourself? Youths like you who choose embezzlement of public resources can continue with who you prefer, not forgetting the right of those who choose accountability with Oni.

By the way, where did you get the words “lofty political platform pre 2023” from. I thought you all claimed that he was structureless. How did a structureless person mount that lofty political platform? Are you not confusing yourself?
