reddingtonblack:It’s only in Nigeria that you hear such words “align with the center”, as if the center will do more than it was doing previously. New York presently has a Muslim democratic governor, who was and is and will remain at loggerheads with the center. Infact the governor and the president are complete enemies. Will that stop the President of the entire country from playing the constitutional role in New York? Their major reason for saying those words is funding, as if joining the same party with the president will attract more funds to that state. That’s what makes most governors very lazy and they leave their states completely unprogressive. With no idea on how to generate revenue and develop their states, many of the states remain stagnant. They make promises when they campaign without first checking resources, accounts and planning. In the end, they wait for federal allocation as a means to sustain their states and looting. All the states have their own mineral resources and yet these governors are so docile that they cannot look inwards to develop them. Some believe that when they fix a few visible roads, the citizens can be fooled, while whatever is left can find its way to private purses. The President himself has the business of looking for means to finance the entire country, that’s why he taxes as he likes. Why won’t these lazy governors develop their mineral resources potentials and get their citizens to work to build their states? |
Sheuns:Even his own seat was won by a little margin by the court. His state fell completely to Obi/LP. Now Enugu has started witnessing people moving to ADC, just like it’s happening in other states nationwide. Mbah should pray to remain on that seat in 2027. |
frankson1:Go and sit down. When people who have knowledge talk, you go join mouth. No go complete your education first. |
QuinQ:Just to feel relevant, you screamed. Did the bearer die or not? Was it sad or not? |
Lanretoye:When you read without understanding, you make life difficult for yourself. The 2019 Presidential election recorded 5,047 votes only for LP. With Obi on the ballot in 2023 it was 6.101 million. The party was said not to have structure. You all mocked Obi and LP. You called the party structureless and with far less agents nationwide. He surprised you all. He told you all that his structure was the people and it was so. He spent his money and supervised it all with his team. No money from the party and yet some crooks and greedy people within the executives expected money to be handed over to them. Ask those party executives what happened to the money given to them by the government. Or were you not there when the issue of mismanagement was leveled against Abure and his group? You all sent Apapa and Abayomi. They all failed woefully. Hopeless aspirants nationwide won seats at the state and federal levels just using Obi’s name. Reno Omokri recently got an ambassadorial job using Obi’s name. Now members of the state and National Assembly have started regrouping with their leader in ADC. How many of them will be left in LP? Well maybe you can team up with LP. Obi left all and went away. Now he is with ADC, with a wider national spread and more prominent politicians. I know that Obi in ADC strikes fear in the heart of APC and its supports. You have all heard, even from the biggest APC leaders, that their greatest threat is Obi. He has his money. He does not need anyone’s money. The mantra is “no shishi”. If we stop bribing at every point, we will have a better Nigeria. Youths like you make life hard for yourselves when you support bribe givers and takers. That’s why Nigeria keeps suffering as a nation, with the very wrong people holding leadership positions. Wake up. |
Putindbutt:If you feel so pained, why not work hard, raise forty million naira and import a simple 40ft container of drugs from China, manufactured to your own specification? Or na by mouth and shouting on social media pages. Or while you limit your attack on a particular group, you know that your people, while claiming ownership of lands, have ventured into such businesses? |
yarimo:The man who knows nothing. Non-stater calling highly successfully people failures. This is a result of long term suffering. |
What money cannot do, more money can do it, according to one popular politician. Aside from seizing ballot boxes, destroying evidences and according to their words “financial war chest”, what else do they have to win elections. They believe that their money can get them the positions, so they must move mountains to achieve their goals. Sadly the citizens, suffering from many years of impoverishment, are not willing to stand behind their votes. They choose to receive money and other gifts to vote for the wrong candidates and then join the queue of those lamenting for the hardship caused by those that they wrongfully voted for. If elections are free and fair in this country, many of those holding political positions will never get there. |
peleson1:They have one left. They were twins. Now they have the other one left. |
So so so sad. He suffocated in the masquerade. While he was choking, he could have taken away the pride and unmask himself. He sadly suffocated to death. |
That freestuff guy can now see clearly what happened. Hopefully he can redeem himself after that his comment a couple of days ago over the matter. We have negligent medical personnel all over the world. However our case in our country needs special attention. Just imagine trusting a baby in the precarious situation, in a very costly private clinic, then negligence on the part of the personnel cost the child’s life. For some couples, it is easy to have children naturally. When they lose their children, the easily replace despite their pain. For those who pass through any form of assisted conception, the loss of the baby is a far worse pain. This couple passes through a very heavy pain, seeing their struggles end just like that. May they be comforted. |
They speak English. They speak French. The west English and Asian and middle eastern clothes. They drive cars by foreigners. They attend schools abroad. Speak American English. They were colonized by foreigners. These people something dey worry them. Meanwhile their women love Nigerian men too much. |
Namaster:So you no get tv for house to follow up with what’s been happening for days? Can you not even keep in the news using your phone? Abi na only Nairaland your data fit purchase? |
mukthar2000:Do not live in the ancient times. Ladies are not in the best position to determine who impregnated them, if they have sex randomly. If they have sex with two or three men, or more during their unsafe period, how can they determine the father of the child. Long gone are the days of “na woman sabi who give am belle”. DNA proves it. If a woman wants to sabi who give am belle, she should simply respect herself and maintain one partner. In this lady’s case, she appears like a lady of easy virtue. Na name she see and try to hang on to that name. |
Mabuggi88:The lady certainly is a content creator. I strongly believe that she monetized her social media pages. She uses them to call out CCP and easily makes money for herself. If the man was a poor or completely unknown person, would she be calling him out this way? She would have moved on since, taking care of her expenses and that of her son personally. The man says that he has no business with her. All she needs to do is to move on. The man does not have an intention to add to his children or include an unknown child in his will. If she feels genuinely terrible, she can with her resources, easily pay her plane ticket yo being the child Nigeria for DNA. The man has repeatedly said that he is not the father and has no business with her. By the way, why have sex randomly with any man you see. Ladies from Kenya South African, Mozambican, Zimbabwe, etc, inspite of their pretended hatred for Nigerians, still chase Nigerian men once they see them in their countries. The reason is simple. Nigerians pay more than their men. |
okuta007:Getat. Taaaa. When people who know football and those players physically dey talk, you dey shoook your agoyin beans mouth. Which of those masters of those days does your Osimhen match in talent, personality and character? Who says that there are no moments of dispute among players. How many of them repeatedly did the same thing against country and team, like Osimhen does? Etim Esin, who was a far better player, where did his foolishness land him? Na so una go dey white call am black. Na im make hunger dey finish una dey go. |
That’s simply the story behind it all. In the three months that he will be the acting Governor, he can do whatever pleases him and his master with the state resources. |
What is the NIN needed for? Why not PVC details instead? That way they are sure that the member has a voter’s card. |
Fantastic write up. Pride goes before a fall, as they say. One European footballer once said that little money in the hands of African footballers made them go crazy. Osimhen gets more notorious everyday, not out of anything, but arrogance of the wealth. Afterall, his own sister once drew the same conclusion publicly about him. He definitely needs a change of character. His arrogance on the pitch will keep costing him from playing and winning medals with bigger European teams. Chairman Christian Chukwu, Segun Odegbami, Stephen Keshi, Yobo Joseph, Sunday Oliseh, Austin Eguavoen. Tarila Okorowanta, Etin Esin, Daniel Amokachi, Taribo West, Bright Omokaro and Sunday Eboigbe. The writer probably forgot to include the great names of Henry Nwosu, Peter Rufai, Peter Fregene, etc. Infact, if Osimhen played football in Lagos in the days of St, Finbarrs, CMS grammar school, Igbobi college, ACB, Super stores, Airways, Leventis, NEPA (ECN), he would not dare. Infact, his career in football would end straightaway. Nigeria had too many football stars, mostly living in Ajegunle, Marine beach, Mushin, Lawanson, Yaba and Agege. They were massive players and very humble. We had coaches who would bench that player permanently, ruining his career, as there were much more better players waiting for opportunities. European style of soccer, money and corruption have deprived Nigeria of benefit of great players who are too many here. |
Youngsage:Very well stated! |
So so so sad. That’s the nightmare of every living parent. Very sorry. Very sorry. May the family be comforted. |
We have had several godfathers in Nigerian politics. Wike is the worst of the whole lot of them. The same Wike who repeatedly warned against godfatherism. The same Wike who openly said that he would not be a minister. The two statements turned out to be lies. He shouts “agreement is agreement”. Did he meet with his own personal agreement, made with his own mouth. BAT needs to move against these fellows in Rivers state, especially members of the state assembly, who are now officially APC members. If APC could deal with the issue of the assembly members of Lagos state and the over ambitious speaker last year, Amauwhule and his group should now be checkmated. Wike is gradually setting the entire country on fire. It is time to fire him and permanently put him in his place. |
DatNiggaDaz:You got it right with that fellow! |
Now we can see the source of his irresponsible public behavior. The same person with his father. With his own mouth, he told the whole world that he’s father is irresponsible and looking at him, we do not need to complain anymore. See as the man carry map of Africa for belle. Maybe the man sef born up and down. Map of Africa signifies borning pikin up and down. Horrible parents breed horrible children! |
EKONGKING:You don reach local airport before, not to talk of international airport and India. First go Benin republic, Togo, Burkina Faso and Ghana to know how societies work. When you reach India you go come look and tell us wetin you see. |
Sermwell:Stop disgracing yasef on public spaces like this. Maybe you expected babies like you to overlook such baby like comments of yours. |
Richtaiwo:Go and sit down bomboy of yesterday. With definitely no first hand information about the Governorship of BAT in Lagos in eight years, how did you choose to dabble into the governorship of Obi in Anambra from your face me I slap you room? Do you not see that you need to get the heck out? |
Stay there na. No be by force to follow Obi. If you like kuku join APC. 2019 Presidential election result: LP - 5,074 APC - 15,191,847 PDP - 11,262,978 2023, LP scored 6.1m votes. Only one man brought the crowd with his name…Peter Obi. Now he has left with his group. Bye bye to Arabambi, Apapa and Ifoh. |
Richtaiwo:Oga APC supporter, if you were of age between 1999 and 2007, disprove what I said. No need talking like Reno who was not in a Anambra state physically to know what happened there during Obi’s tenure, neither was he in his Delta state to prove that Ibori fixed all the health facilities in eight years as the governor. You prove that BAT fixed all the health facilities in Lagos in eight years as the Governor. |
Crenzywilliams:Looking at that video, do you think that she used your blood or urine sample? By the way, if her report says that she does have an issue or otherwise, that should be her issue and her life to contend with. Looking at the person sitting right in front of her, did you not know that her blood or urine sample would have been extracted directly while she was sitting there? Or do you think that that place was one adigboloja hospital where you take your urine sample to from your home? |
Richtaiwo:Oga, is yours a rebuttal of what I said? |
Richtaiwo:In eight years as the Lagos state Governor, did BAT fix all the public hospitals? Except Badagry general hospital has been recently fixed by Sanwo Olu, it was a complete disgrace all through BAT’s tenure. What about other primary healthcare centers? Reno Omokri got his ambassadorial job using Obi’s name. Tinubu would not have looked his way and he knows that. Obi continues to our food on the table of many and they fail to acknowledge it to their supporters. Do you need a job, or political favour? Simply mention Obi’s name and you will get it. |
