It shows that even if some police officers are paid two million as their minimum wages, they’ll continue that foolish act of extortion.

Now they have effectively lost their retirement benefits. They will go to jail, as they have been labeled as criminals. So just imagine how police officers who probably threatened criminals those detained in their cells that morning, ended that day being called criminals publicly by their own bosses.

Many decent police officers engage in other jobs to make living better for themselves. Many are farmers and business owners and very proud of their achievements. Many are not interested in bribes or extortion in any form.

Some accused are actually not guilty, accepting this offer when they know they are not guilty means they will be an exconvict, why not check through each case and let those without reasonable proof be discharged and acquitted, then the rest can take the plea bargain option

This should largely concern those with cases of fraud, embezzlement, looting, etc. They are the ones who have cases of stolen monies, missing monies, etc.

It will also help government to recover and continue to build the state. It will help in healing where it involves private organizations, those whose staff have stolen company resources.
