Creamypie:I always laugh at your total ignorance. Even you are proudly very ignorant. Maybe you are not aware that certain Igbo speaking people of Imo state were cut into Rivers state when the states were divided, leaving people of the same language in two states. Now they have part of their people in Imo. They are all Igbos and never deny themselves. All assembly members, yet all House of Representatives of the Delta North are in agreement. You are talking about forged signature, whereas the Obi of Ubulu Unor led the delegates to Akwa Ibom. No be only police go investigate, na fire service sef. You have not dealt with the daily killings of people in their large numbers by cultists in Asaba, Ogwashi uku, Isele Uku, Okpanam, Agbor, Abraka, not to mention herdsmen, and you are there talking about IPOB. While you were there, herdsmen invaded Ubulu Uku and killed the Obi. You dey sleep? Wetin you kuku know sef. Na only to dey Nairaland dey claim Delta. Your village you no sabi. |
Creamypie:What about the ones who have overrun Ogwashi uku, Agbor, Sapele, Ughelli, Kwale and Asaba, making life difficult for everyone there. With all the efforts of the people of Kwale and Ogwashi uku, the same people have made citizens unable to sleep with their eyes closed. Or you want to pretend about it? Anyway, no mind abeg. By this time next year you will be part of the same SE. |
Congratulations to you bro. May they and their elder siblings bring you and your wife joy, peace and satisfaction all your lives. |
Akpakomiza2:So as an ex Vice President, Alhaji Atiku was not relevant? When you say the “north”, you must be talking about the entire NE, NW and NC. Has any single politician ever controlled the entire north of Nigeria? Did Tinubu dominate the SW? Is there any rule tjhat demands Atiku to control the entire north before he secures electoral victory in Nigeria? Did Tinubu dominate the entire north in 2023? So those who have recently joined, or chosen to join ADC are not relevant enough to democratically unseat APC? By the way, what’s the fear, worry and concern of APC regarding ADC and its recent membership? |
Tflex01:But ex this, ex that, including ex Head of state Buhari, ex Governor Tinubu, joined to form APC and remove GEJ, a then sitting President. What’s the fear with ex this, ex that forming a coalition to confront BAT? Is it not from ex this, that he became the sitting President? |
But it may not be so with all marriages. Unfortunately too, no partner may exploit the other, making the other appear like a fool. |
What a shame. Such wickedness from the hostel management. Surely some of the staff must be parents. How would the hostel demand such ludicrous amount for a spare key. Are they giving out bank’s vault keys there? They certainly must be sanctioned if found culpable. |
Amotolongbo:Thank you boy. So you failed to read other comments carefully? Na wah. |
mrvitalis:That’s why the SE will play a very serious part in the future of the Nigerian economy. The country’s largest reserves are found between Imo and Anambra state. |
Sheuns:Sure. The Americans have huge deposits of natural resources. They are very well managed and accounted for. Recently they signed an agreement with the Ukrainians to be part of the Ukrainian rare earth minerals. These things define the most powerful nations on earth. That’s why you see the Americans, Russians and Chinese always leading. They have vast lands sometimes connecting two continents. The difference with our country is that we have huge quantities of natural resources, but very poor and highly criminal accounting. How can we in this age and time be talking about crude stealing? How can we watch our gold and other resources in the north stolen and yet we go from country to country borrowing? |
Amotolongbo:You see why I talked about knowledge? Not reading with understanding is synonymous with olodoism. If you read my initial comments, you would have understood clearly why the Sahara route was described. To represent olodo no easy. Continue as a proud associate. |
ipobcannibals:And Ndokwa? Riddled with igbo and igbo users. The headquarters nationwide. Sorry, it is too late. Anioma is part of the SE. Maybe you are not aware that the aspiration is the creation of a sixth SE state. Unfortunately, the agitation for Niger Delta state does not include Ndokwa people. |
Putindbutt:Dey deceive yasef. No be only Anio, na Mao. Oya, tell us the meaning of Anioma as the interpreter. We dey wait. |
Agreed to create the state, yet disagreed with geographical location? How does it sound to these people. First they said NO to the creation of the state. Now they say NO to its location. When Delta state was created out of Bendel state, was there any such statement as that? If Anioma state was created out of Bendel state, as demanded, would these people be here with such demands. Well, it’s too long. The horse long bolted away. Anioma belongs to the South east. |
Creamypie:See, when you talk with me, please be updated. I do not like to waste time teaching history classes here. If you took your time to read and research, you’d have found that when IBB would break up the old Bendel state, Anioma state was agitated for. Originally, Bendel was to be broken up into three states, creating Edo, Delta and Anioma states. Go and read. Go and read about those who owned the name “Delta state” and tell me if they ever wanted Enuani, Ikas and Ukwuanis to be part of them. Always discuss from the point of history and facts, otherwise you will be talking hear say and beer parlour. By the way, if you do not want any “inch” of you, tell us how you want to force yourself on the Urhobos, Itsekiris, Isokos, Ijaws and Binis. Maybe that inch you are talking about will be stateless. |
Landmaq:One man’s opinion bro. Like already stated, minority will have their say and majority will have their way. Anioma state has been in the pipeline for too many years. The time has come. Thanks to Ned Nwoko. |
Amotolongbo:Not having knowledge makes you empty. Update: “Nigerian adventurer, Emmanuel Myam, popularly known as Emmiwuks, has arrived in Ghana as part of his ambitious solo bicycle journey from Lagos to the United States”. The 10th day from Makurdi was on the 10th of July, 2025. The coastal route as stated. Learn and be informed. |
Hausa:Update: “ Nigerian adventurer, Emmanuel Myam, popularly known as Emmiwuks, has arrived in Ghana as part of his ambitious solo bicycle journey from Lagos to the United States”. 10th day from Makurdi as of 10th of July, 2025. On the coastal route! |
Landmaq:“Ned’s game”? You call it a game? I laugh in Hindu. Sorry bro, it is not a game, but the reality! Did you not read that the disagreement came from 9 members of the Delta state house of assembly, who were asked to sign on blank papers? They were all in support and still remain in support. Do you expect 9 members of the Delta state house of assembly to stop the move? Surely even children know that it is impossible. Did you not read that 75 Senators were in agreement? Did you read of any disagreement from the members of House of Representatives from Delta north? Who told you that it is the agitation of the Igbos from across the River? By the way, who says that Ukwuanis and the Ikas are not Igbo people? While those of Delta Central and South are agitating for their own state, do you expect the Ukwuanis and Ikas to be stateless? Or do you cover them to be part of Edo state, when they do not share common cultural affinity? Look, just as the Igbos from across the River travel to Delta north and the rest, do you not know that people of Delta north reside in large population across the river? By the way, are you resident in Delta state, or you rely on Nairaland and Saharareporters? If you choose to differentiate by using the names “Enuani”, “Ikas” and “Ukwuanis”, the simple fact is that they are all Igbos. Aligning with their kith and kin across the other side is very necessary and enhances better sense of belonging. What we await is the constitutional amendment. That should happen around December, and by next year, Anioma state, just like others will happen. Like is always said, the minority will have their say, while the majority will have their way. Those in majority for creation of the state already have their way. |
Even hunted GEJ himself. Anyway, that’s the process with Nigerian politics and politicians. Once they get into positions, they witch-hunt, intimidate and blackmail. |
yinkus6750:And do you know that while in London or wherever they go, including Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Sierra Leone, they are treated by Nigerian Doctors and nurses? That’s the sad irony of it all. Nigerian Doctors are very poorly paid in Nigeria. They take their expertise abroad, get well paid and access to the best medical equipments and research. It is a total shame on Nigerian leaders. |
Landmaq:Theatrics? Well the state will become a reality. Those who say no can happily join Niger Delta state with the Urhobos, etc, if they will be accepted there. |
But YPP has no electoral value in Abia state, talk less of Bende. |
Recompense7:Nothing personal. Is everything well at home, if I may also ask you? |
Recompense7:Oga, expect the blunder. When you say MTN, you assume that it is MTN as a group, and want to hold the entire organization responsible. There is a department in charge of that. Whoever posted that public notice, made the error. Be that as it may, the notice was posted and everyone will comply, except “I too know” people. Expect the blunder as they are human. |
ppogba:First EFCC will verify that it’s not skit or content, as they call it. If it is it so, EFCC will arrest him, track the source of the money, to prove legitimacy. If the source is illegitimate, EFCC will prosecute him and his group. Next, EFCC will search for the car seller, arrest and prosecute whoever sold the car. Car and account balance of the bot would be recovered, victim(s) contacted and money refunded. The father was very honest and has no blame in this. Expect the so called friends to vanish and use the boy as their reference in the future. |
Recompense7:No wahala. At least they gave notice to customers, seeing that millions of people would be affected. That is better than NEPA or our GENCOS. No notice and when light is restored, we all shout “up NEPA”! Even unborn babies go dey shout “up NEPA” inside belle. |
God1000:Mighty Iran who admitted yesterday that 1,020 citizens lost their lives? Mighty Iran admitted that more are still on the danger list? Mighty Iran with over 5,000 in the hospital now? Mighty Iran with destroyed nuclear facilities? Mighty Iran with the Ayatollah hiding in a hole? Mighty Iran with many generals killed? What would have made Iran mighty if Israel attacked densely populated areas with their air superiority? Iran would have been like Gaza in just 12 days. Please just use the words “lucky Iran”. |
Kaycee9242:Na waoh. What can one do about this please? It has cost so much, this behavior of Etisalat. |
ALTERNATEID:Are you trying to tell us that Wike is not a man? Are you trying to tell us that Wike does not have an atom of integrity left in him? Are you trying to tell us that Wike who has one leg in PDP and leaving another one in APC is undemocratic, illegal and absolutely irresponsible? Why not support a move for PDP to expel Wike? Do you understand what the word hypocrisy means? If you understand it, you should send that your advise to Wike first, who pushed Umahi and others away from PDP, while remaining there to further damage the party. |
Parents, especially the wealthy, will always find ways to subvert it. They are the ones who use money to buy teachers, JAMB expo and force admissions for children less than that age. That benchmark enables the child to be prepared, with even though not fully. If the old system of higher level is as still in operation, the benchmark would have been at 18. |
Is Etisalat working now? I’ve not had network on my Etisalat SIM since February. Who else experiences it? |
