West1side:You anal-dwelling butt monkey. How you find space on this forum to respond to people’s comments with such insult need to be checkmated. Surely your own father must be a guttersnipe and a malt worm. A complete vagabond with no idea of his bearing in life, talk less of you. An oaf and carrion like you should not be sharing media spaces with decent people. If you find that you are unable to contribute meaningfully to decent discussions, as you are intellectually limited, why not get your fustilarian self away from here? |

hisexcellency34:He lost his polling unit! |
Now they have showed their plan to impeach Fubara. Dagogo Iboroma maybe Wike’s man, who is intended for the position of the Attorney General. They want to get him in there and use him to impeach Fubara. This is very elementary and Fubara understands it very well too. Now that Wike does not have any say in the political appointments, how can they get their man to become the Attorney General? Without a Attorney General, can they proceed with an impeachment? Fubara will either re-submit the same list or go ahead with the few who are cleared. Certainly Fubara will choose his own man as the Attorney General, no matter what the cowards come up with. As far as I am concerned, Amaewhule and his group are cowards. They openly joined APC and we all saw it on tv. They turned around to claim that they did not join APC, seeing that their seats were legally in danger. As cowards, they are their words. |
Racoon:Don’t mind the shameless and fake Christian. |
Islie:That surely must happen. The shameless eye service Senator, entered a battle that he had no business with. Now Senator Natasha has another man to take to court. |
ShoeMarket:She definitely is not a “Jezebel”. She’s one Nigerian who in the first place never wished to sit on the fence. She definitely worked hard to get to her present position. Do not forget that she also has contested the Governorship seat of her state. We have seen the Senate turning down her petition and asking all to wait for the outcome of the matter in the courts. The Senate panel also said that the court order stopping them from sitting over he matter would not hold, as it runs contrary to the established practice of separation of powers. The panel will go ahead to suspend her for six months, while the continue the rat race. Once again, Mr. Akpabio faces a different battle. His seat is at stake. He knows that within the house, Senator Natasha has supporters and he knows that other Senators eye his seat. He must tread softy. |
ALTERNATEID:Thank you for showing us that you have better understanding of the law and politics than us. Can you tell us what the law says and the relevant section(s) please? |
ScarletBrace:We did. Did you demand from Tinubu, Mahmoud or even your councillor or local government chairman? |
judeikenna:. It’s up to them. If they reject the commissioners, the governor will continue his job, using civil servants. Fubara is very popular among the civil servants. |
Odin13:Impeachment is a difficult and dangerous route at this time. For me, Amaewhule and his co travellers are cowards. One day, they all on live tv decamped from PDP to APC, flying the flag of APC right inside the house and outside. The next day, the cowards claimed that they did not decamp. What happened to the live show that we all witnessed? Even APC that received them openly same moment turned around to say that they did not decamp. What a bunch of cowards in the name of politics. The case is still in court as we heard. |
IamAtAnger:Exactly who you are. Do not forget that you appear like a dog with rabies. |
madridguy:Hopefully the one you to referred to as “high chief of condolence” will visit you very soon too. |
IamAtAnger:If your foolishness cannot allow you make decent contributions, why not get your stinking self away from here, you dunce? |
A very wrongly calculated political move. Maybe they want her to resign, impeach Fubara and impose Amaewhule. |
Origin:The battle just assumed the new level. |
pweeryambre:There was no need for those words. We were not there when his mother raised him and his siblings. He did not need to let us know. Now he must face the battle that faces him. That seat is very hot and well eyed by other Senators. So while he’s appealing to those who want to hear, his enemies, even within his party, are geared up to remove him from there. This is the moment for those who were not pleased with him from the very beginning to get him away from there. By the way, did anyone notice the complete silence inside the chamber? |
That’s alright. Obviously Senator Natasha Akpoti was sitting in the newly assigned seat, as their was no noise about that in the house. Akpabio is fighting a different kind of battle now. He never expected this and if he escapes, he will conduct himself differently. He’s fighting a woman, a politician and she’s no pushover. His seat as it stands is at stake. If he thought it was a joke, now he sees the seriousness in it. He’s fighting a moral and political battle at the same time. That’s the way forward for the two of them. That’s what we want to see. That’s democracy in action. Now it is time for moral accountability. This is very necessary, so that the citizens of the country can know the quality of leaders who hold those positions. Senator Natasha already got a court order to stop the probe panel. Before then, she had appeared before the world on Arise tv to state the contentious issues. While the supporters of Senator Akpabio were getting petty over the matter, Senator Natasha was digging deep. It is no longer time for “solidarity support”. The truth about the rot, if any, in the National Assembly must be discovered. Now Senator Akpabio must defend himself and extricate himself from all the allegations. If Senator Natasha cannot prove her allegations with damning evidences, then she will face national disgrace. If Akpabio fails, he’s off the seat. For us the citizens, aside from this moral accountability, we must demand financial accountability from these Senators. The humongous amounts that they receive, while making mockery of the citizens, requires proper scrutiny. I think this also is an opportunity for us all to ask them what has been happening to finance. Once again, no one of us knows what transpired between the two of them in their private moments. So just like Senator Akpabio said, we must avoid jumping to conclusions or speculating. Aside from allowing the court to speak, we must allow evidences, if any, to give us the true story. |
Counterigbolies:What else would you have said? You have resorted to insulting peoples fathers. You do not know who fathers are as your own father must be a complete and irredeemable vagabond and a dyke, a libertine and a social parasite. You are scoundrel and there’s no difference between you and a hunger ravaged street walking local dog. |
Counterigbolies:You are a dirty fellow with no future. Bow your miserable face in shame, you dork. |
This King should face his kingdom and not politics. A probe is ongoing. A case is in court. The Senators are trying to resolve the differences. No one can say what transpired between Akpabio and Natasha privately, except the two of them. Let’s watch and see. As the King of his community, if he performs badly, he can be removed either by his people or the Governor. This King cannot say that he knows Akpabio too well. He was not born with Akpabio. He does not live with him. He does not sleep on the same bed with him. He does not even know that a probe is ongoing. Does this King even know what’s going on with this matter? |
Chucks13:Joking with such a comment? Surely that was a joke taken too far. Address it bro. |
Counterigbolies:Scoundrels like you must not be allowed to thrive on social media spaces like this. Your comment shows you away as a person from a deeply troubled home and with very poor and irresponsible upbringing. If you cannot discuss intelligently, why not watch and learn from others who know. Clearly your moniker exposes your intent on this forum. If not for such idiocy, one wonders why you forgot that your SS comprises of citizens, including the same Igbos, that your senseless moniker chose to insult. Maybe your own SS ends in Edo state (apologies to the decent people of Edo state), and does not permit you to know that there are Igbo towns and communities in Delta and Rivers states. You do not know that higher fuel costs affect everyone in the two regions mentioned. Tell us which region is safer than the other. Tell us which region is free from one crisis or deadly crime. Tell us how your own state is not hostile to its citizens, not to talk of others. Go an increase fuel costs there. Who knows if you need the job of a petrol attendant and you cannot find one yet. |
With the performance of Sheriff so far in Delta north, no one needs a seer to know that PDP will lose the state as a whole in the next election. Delta north has been the strongest base of PDP since 1999. The only breather came during the tenure of Okowa. Uduaghan was a write off. Maybe based on their unwritten political agreements, Sheriff concentrates on Delta central more at this time. The reason why Elon Musk was handed such huge position in the USA is that he contributed 270m dollars to Trump’s campaign. With the votes gathered from Delta north, Sheriff must as a matter of fact and urgency make his development plans known to the people, otherwise he risks losing not only the senatorial zone, but the whole state. Right now PDP does not have any senator in the state, and Ibori who used to be the Godfather, now frolicks with Tinubu and APC. His daughter now is an PDP representative. Sheriff must wake up otherwise he may not have a second term to enjoy. Oshimili north gave him 35,000 votes while Oshimili south gave him 23,000 votes. Those two alone gave him the highest votes in Delta state. Asaba is looking abandoned, with all the manholes and some bad roads. Oko needs urgent attention, with no good road for all these years. By now the government of Sheriff should be looking at constructing the Asaba - Oko Amakom - Oko Anala - Oko Ogbele - Abala road, leading to Beneku, etc. That should open up those areas, providing access to the citizens and enabling agricultural products reach markets. How previous Delta state governors have never bothered about Oko people is strange. Oko people have always voted PDP and the last election, voted for Sheriff overwhelmingly. Please help us ask Mr. Sheriff do something also about electricity in Ndokwa. That was one major issue between him and Mr. Nwoko, who finally decamped to APC. |
Tajbol4splend:Maybe your own blood is needed to be able to quantify how much blood. Please add your blood and let us count. |
Please as a matter of urgency, arrest the area boys troubling citizens at Iyana Iba junction. One does not know whether to define them as area boys, alayes, omoniles, agberos or touts. They mount checkpoints collecting huge tolls from innocent citizens who buy items from either Iyana Iba market, or Alaba international. Please government should do something about it, as their activities have gone out of hand. The threat and force that they apply need to be checkmated please. |
Lateef73:Nateef, in all you still sell your own lands to them and they make you tenants in your own land. Nateef, you also pay rent to biological children of dead owners, even in your own land. Nateef wetin you no know pass you! |
porthouse7:By the way, how far with the Oba arrested for fraud in far away America? Is he in jail with his staff of office? Chai. A whole King? What a record! |
Anioma is that sixth state that the South East needs and the reasons are very clear. Ned Nwoko once said that “you cannot cut one finger into two because you want to have six fingers”. At the other end of the River Niger, there are five states, all Igbo speaking. It is foolish to try to make a state out of existing states where the people speak the same language. Common sense dictates that you should bring the people of the same language, who are scattered in other states, not speaking the same language. Now there’s a clamour to bring over the Igbo speaking peoples in Benue, Kogi and Rivers states. It is agreed absolutely. But Anioma must be a priority. Anioma comes along with nine local government attached with plenty of land and water borne natural resources. There will be no use cutting up Imo and Abia states to make up one state, when Anioma is already a state of its own. Anioma is of more use. Again, with the issue of capital flight from the other end of the River, more Igbo speaking people now reside in all the nine local government areas of Anioma, contributing their quota to have their areas developed. They find themselves more at peace and closer to their villages, if there is any need at all to visit their villages. Anioma was also intended to include Onitsha and Ogbaru and Idemmili. When added, there should be approximately 12 states, with the capital at either Asaba or Onitsha. Those two cities more than qualify to be state capitals. Orji Uzor Kalu, out of experience made the right request and without delay, it has to pass through the National Assembly. |
porthouse7:You can only deceive yourself. You opened the link, saw the record and shamelessly tried to cover up. We should not forget the famous words “na statistics we go chop”. Well, now we all, including the man who made the famous statement, know the importance of statistics. You saw the statistics and shut you ponmo filled mouth out of shame. Not only did and do your people, rob, kill, use fellow humans for money making rituals, and engage in drug peddling, they exported their affairs to the rest of the world. They are even very famous. Shame on you! |
stuffs2002:Ode. When English is difficult for you and simple discussions are hard to understand, you and your likes get insultive. Maybe your lack of proper reasoning has not permitted you to understand that irrespective of the legal requirement of proof, Akpabio’s reputation is at stake. If people accuse you of rape and take steps to destroy you, maybe you will think that the best approach in the face of public disgrace will be to wait for the people and their supporters to prove their cases first. Didirin. Mumu like you thinks that Akpabio will just sit down without doing anything about it. Mumu like you has not seen support for Akpabio from within and outside the Senate to prove his innocence. A little more reading with understanding should help you. You be truly ode. |
That’s when the going was good. Now Akpabio has to clear his image first. |
