Faculty of Law Ebonyi State University Gets a New Dean. Dr. Kelvin O. Udude of the Law Faculty who was Sub-Dean FLAW was confirmed the Acting Dean during a Faculty Board meeting on Wednesday 9/10/2019 as the former dean Prof. C. A. Omaka SAN is now on leave. Recall that Prof Omaka SAN was the faculty dean between 2012-2014 and he then went on sabatical leave. During the leave he was awarded the SANship title in 2016 and upon return to the Faculty in 2016, again took over as the Dean of the Faculty from the present Dean Student's Affairs of the University Dr. AjaNwachuku who served as the Faculty Dean between 2010-2012 and 2014-2016. Both Omaka and AjaNwachuku are from the old Afikpo Block of the state while the new Acting Dean is from Abakaliki Block. |

For me I can only support this idea if it is an alternative to life imprisonment punishment. And female offender should be medically operated on their falopian tube be turned upside down and their gletoris be removed entirely to avoid having sexual urge. These punishments of operation no more sex an no procreation methinks, will be a lasting solution to the crime of rape. |

Aurthur Eze v Chiamanda Adichie. I even learnt than Authur wants the great Abba that is internationally known by virtue of Adichie's Purples Hibiscus and other novel to go into extinction. They (Aurthur and Ukpo people) want Abba to live and be known as Ukpo people or they leave Abba land. The famous Abba Junction have been changed to Ukpo Junction. The battle should be better fought intellectually through court processes but my doubt is still on the Nigerian system. Aurthur has what nigerian judges need to enter judgement in his favour. But I share the view that Abba cannot go down because of one man. If there will be no Abba where will Jaja, Kambili, Eugene, Papa Nnukwu have as their village?
