PoliticsRe: FG Withholds Edo State Statutory Allocation – Oshiomhole Alleges by Elose11(m): 12:11am On Jul 08, 2013
The things some of us say here leave me marveled, and I may be forced to distract this thread and topic by calling on the relevant authorities to completely overhaul our education system, or better still, compel some of the so-called graduates to take up certain elementary education: a subject like Social Studies can go a long way.
If only you understand the different responsibilities of the THREE ARMS OF GOVERNMENT, you will know that the Executive does not implement/Execute any Law not approved by the Legislature!
If only you can also come into terms with the fact that Budgets/Appropriations are passed by the Legislature in what is called ' Appropriation Bill', some of you will slow down.
Fact is, the Executive does not spend any money not approved by the Legislature.
Incase you need further tutorials on who is the Executive and who is the Legislature in ths twist, you can meet Suen, he knows how to contact me.
As for the matter on ground, I'm not aligning with Adams, AT ALL. Let him consult that third Arm of Government (they don't consider important), to seek redress!
You too don't seem to know your social studies very well. The National assembly do not pass appropriation bill for states. The various states Assemblies does that while the National assembly passes only that of the federal government. Money that are appropriated are monies jointly shared by the three tiers of government from the consolidated revenue fund. Only the States assemblies are usurping the power of the local governments to appropriate their own. So Oshomhole may have taken 'something' before making such statement.
PoliticsRe: Fani-Kayode : APC Is Not A Muslim Dominated Party by Elose11(m): 6:34pm On Jul 01, 2013
YusufG: WE NEED PEOPLE LIKE THIS IN DIS COUNTRY
The way some of you take us for granted in this country really make me believe we are a long way from political eldorado. So Fani Kayode has become a hero after crossing over to APC! A political prostitute! Kayode belong to a long line of selfish individuals who will do anything to be relevant. He is in the same class of El Rufai, Ezekwesili, Ribadu, etc. They rpresent the ills of this nation. We can no longer be deceived by these political turn coats. Except that your likes can either not see through their antics or you also belong to their group
PoliticsRe: Amaechi May Cancel NGF Meeting In Deference To Jonathan by Elose11(m): 7:15pm On Jun 26, 2013
dayokanu: Amaechi keeps landing blows on Retardeen, Now everyone knows who is the matured one and who is the clueless one who had no shoes no brains
The way many of you reason on NL goes to show that immature, spoilts brats have taken over the forum. Is the word 'retardeen' new in your vocabulary? Amaechi is more sensible than a whole lot of you. The feeler he got from his co-travellers, especially in PDP, in respect of the meeting he called was not encouraging. If he did not cancel it, Amaechi would have been thoroughly disgraced. You kids on this forum should learn to respect the president. Most of your postng goes to show the kind of training you received back home.
PoliticsRe: Governor Amaechi Calls For Ngf Meeting by Elose11(m): 7:54am On Jun 25, 2013
The chairmanship of NGF is zoned to PDP on account of their having majority governors. Amaechi contested ther chairmanship under the PDP banner. The same PDP has suspended him. Under whose banner is he still parading himself as chairman to call a meeting of the forum? PDP are their own problem. Why are they considering lifting his suspension when he had not shown remorse for his past misdeeds?
PoliticsRe: ACF Rejects Jonathan For 2015 Presidency by Elose11(m): 10:31am On Jun 22, 2013
Na today? 2011 election did they not reject him? Did he not win inspite of there rejection? Nigerians are politically more enlightened now than before. The ACF should go and hug a transformer. They are no more relevant!
PhonesRe: 10k/sec to all networks on MTN by Elose11(m): 8:57am On Jun 22, 2013
onenessone: N1000 gives you N3750, thats almost 4 times your value for the money, so at 40k/sec is just like 10k/sec from your N1000, great offer, i have been selling this offer to all who cares to listen. You all should port to etisalat, the current best network
You are forgetting the most devastating "side effect" of this package: It is time barred! You must finish the promo within 7 days. Your initial load of 1000 is included in the promo. So there is nothing special about it.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Tricked, Misses Atiku's Sons Wedding by Elose11(m): 9:08pm On Jun 10, 2013
He was accosted by protocol officers from the Bauchi Government House and informed that the event had been shifted to 12noon and that he should proceed to the presidential lodge to wait until the rescheduled time,” the source close to the CPC leader said. But Buhari who had intended to proceed to the palace of the Emir of Bauchi where the exchange of marital vows would be conducted, turned down the offer and chose instead to go to the house of a friend.
Note the above report. If Buhari had followed the protocol officials to the Presidential lodge, he would have met other dignitaries there. The dignitaries at the Presidential lodge includes Atiku. Buhari wouldn't have missed the wedding if he had agreed to followed others from the lodge. But because he had other agenda, he decided to go to a friend's place. If it was the Bauchi state government that invited him, why did he decides to go elsewhere?

.. As for Amechi, if you are not going to be loyal to the decisions of ur party u bow simple... U don't want to stay in peace and loyalty with ur party yet u don't want to go.... U re just as an agent of the opposition to ruin your party... God help you.
GBAM! Amechi belongs to ACN, oh sorry APC! The opposition are using him to disorganize the PDP ahead of 2015 election. Otherwise why are the opposition crying more than Amechi over his suspension by the PDP.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Asks Jonathan To Resign Over Insecurity by Elose11(m): 10:44am On May 22, 2013
Buhari and Tinubu have shown by their utterances since the state of emergency was declared by president Jonathan that they are the sponsors of Boko Haram. Boko Haram is the military wing of the yet to be registered APC. Thank God Nigerians are beginning to identify their true enemy. Since Jonathan presidency started, those that do not wish this nation well, typified by Buhari and Tinubu, have created crisis after crisis to give Nigerians the impression the GEJ is a weak president. Well we are seeing through it all. We only pray that they will not die but live to see Jonathan finish his second term tenure in 2019. They should wait to see the mother of all political defeat that awaits them in 2015. As long as The Lord lives, Buhari and his likes will never rule Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Shettima Monguno Kidnapped In Maiduguri by Elose11(m): 5:44pm On May 03, 2013
Dr Ali Mongonu is one of the most respected elder statesmen in the north east. And one of those that had wage a 'relentless war' against the JTF occupation of Maiduguri. Instead of doing what a responsible elder should have done by calling the BH boys to order, he instead was busy blaming the federal govt for sending the military to help contain the BH insurgency. Well, Dr Mongonu, your kidnap is as a result of your inability to speak up against evil when you should. A responsible elder does not sleep when a snake is on rooftop. I pray you are released unharmed.
PoliticsRe: Alamisiegha's Pardon: US Expresses Regret by Elose11(m): 2:25pm On Mar 15, 2013
Why is the US govt. always meddling in other nation's internal affairs? How our president uses his constitutionally granted power of prerogative of mercy should not be the concern of the US govt. After all we don't interfere with how Obama uses his.
PoliticsRe: Three Groups Fight For APC Identity by Elose11(m): 2:17pm On Mar 15, 2013
The merging parties are a very unserious group. In fact, they are parties that promote lawlessness. The fact that you have told the world APC is your acronym does not mean that it's legally yours. The other groups claiming the acronym are busy fine tuning their registration processes, the merging parties are busy wiping up sentiments. Tinubu, Lai and Buhari should know that Nigeria has grown beyond motor park politics. If they are serious about uprooting PDP in 2015 they had better be ready to work harder that they are doing presently. Resorting to self help will not work this time around.

Rochas : For his tall dream for Imo state
Oshomhole : For his zeal to transform Edo, especially Benin city.

PoliticsRe: Who Is The Best Living Politician In Nigeria? by Elose11(m): 12:18pm On May 28, 2012
I think u all are missing the question. It is who is the best POLITICIAN alive, not LEADER. For me, I will choose mr FIX IT, himself, Chief Tony ANENIH. This is a POLITICIAN ALIVE today that I can say is the best at his game. He has successfully installed three presidents, from OBJ, YARADUA to GEJ. He is the PDP's ENFORCER. A man who is always called upon to put off political fires. And he has put off many, by either crook or hook. HE is a silent worker who has the eye and respect of all. because he always deliver. He it was that is also responsible for the success of his party the SDP in the June 12, 1993 election that had ABIOLA as its candidate. HATE him or LOVE him, ANENIH is the greatest politician alive today. The next is Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu.
PoliticsRe: The West Selfish For Refusing Okonjo-iweala World Bank Presidency - Mugabe by Elose11(m): 10:01am On May 25, 2012
I don't think the West were selfish. They were been very nationalistic. They are protecting their interest. They can't trust a Nigerian to protect those interest, inspite of the fact that she has always been their tool all these years.
PoliticsRe: TUC Rejects New Electricity Tariffs ! by Elose11(m): 9:56am On May 25, 2012
GEJ is at it again. Why making Nigerians pay for what they did not consume? Is 419 more than this? Nigerians please lets not accept this. GEJ is continually been misled. Or should it be the other way round. The other day he was accusing the governors for betraying him during the fuel subsidy issue. Here he is again now been led to the slaughter. 'First fool', they say,'no be fool. But second fool, man, na proper foolish'!
PoliticsRe: Why Do Most Nigerians Like Insulting GEJ by Elose11(m): 9:22am On May 25, 2012
GNBohr: @ Logic mind, you must be stupid and daft. The southwesterners are forever the master in this household. We sneeze all of you catch cold. We singlehanded stepped aside IBB, installed GEJ. We dont share political sentiments with any of you in the Southeast or Southsouth who are perpetually incapable of self identity. You are always lapping at the dirty political table of the north. If you are capable pull out of PDP like the Southwest did under Bola Ige and see if you will survive politically in the household. Stupid slaves.
Which Bola Ige? The one you murdered years ago. The south West did not pull out of PDP under Bola Ige. It was Tinubu.
PoliticsRe: Why Do Most Nigerians Like Insulting GEJ by Elose11(m): 9:19am On May 25, 2012
I don't think most Nigerians like insulting GEJ. It is his policies that people find outlandish. The President keep committing policy blunders every now and then that one wonders whether he indeed knows the solutions to our intractable problems. How can a man who claim to have attended schools in his village without shoes suddenly become anti poor? GEJ has been the one insulting the Nigeria masses. Not the other way round.
