Over 200 000 dead.
Hold on. . .hold on, Razur. . .do you believe 200,000 people are dead in this quake in Haiti?  eh, do you?
About as much belief you have in those theories of yours.

PS
A big chunk of my reply is missing, can you confirm you can see anything from your end please.

Over a million people displaced.
Over 200 000 dead.
Many more missing.
Infactructures is almost non-existent
Law and disorder starting to take off.
etc

Yet to think that a few will question the number of specialised troops been drafted in to help Haiti in her long road to recovery is just bizzare.

Razur and debo,

yeah, there are specialties in the force.  America dare not deploy its own military force on its soil unless there was act of insurrection and even at that it will have to first be approved by congress.

In civilian matters, America deploys national guard to help in riots, security and disaster recovery. That's the unit of the American military specialized to handle urban problems of the kind in Haiti, not warriors that are currently stationed there. Why did America not send Marines to help victims of Katrina?

That aside, do you have explaaton for the presence of Israeli Defense Force in Haitii?

Backward educated folks!!
Again your view and approach is on the side of inaccuracy. National Guards are nothing but reserved units of the Armed forces. When you have problems like they do in Haiti, you do not send in inactive forces, you send forces that are under the "active" segment of the military. It isn't hard to understand.

You talk of the IDF, yet here is what they are doing there - see link below.
http://idfspokesperson.com/

https://img168.imageshack.us/img168/3508/idf.jpg

I guess this is some sort of military that is going on, but the poor haiti people do not know.  undecided

https://img718.imageshack.us/img718/8137/idf2.jpg
OMG. Israel is really employing more mossad people to work under cover.

https://img707.imageshack.us/img707/1113/idf3.jpg
As you can see here, the IDF are hiding the evidence or perhaps they are tapping into the phone line that goes all the way to iran.

https://img707.imageshack.us/img707/6307/idf4.jpg

In other news.
Social Affairs Minister Isaac Herzog has instructed the staff Social Affairs Ministry to look into the possibility of adopting Haitian children, orphaned in the devastating earthquake which hit the island almost two weeks ago, Israel Radio reported on Saturday.
Full story here. http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1144507.html

I guess it is all part of the elaborate plans to topple the regime in Iran.

For the record, there are several nations there, but it is interesting that you are yet to question as to why these other nations are there in the first place apart from the US and Israel. Again, it goes to show your stance towards the US, or at least it shows how you have ignored the facts at hand in other to support your wild claims. These things are classical hallmarks of a conspiracy theorist.

PS
Negro_Ntns
You are quick to dismiss point - without ever countering them. You are quick to talk about superior intelligence etc. Seriously, as the americans will say"What gives huh"

Anyway, debating is about proof, facts and counter arguement based on the first two I mentioned [plus a few other points]. So far all you have put forward are nothing but mere wild claims. Again, it is fun to disprove you. smiley

It is ironic that religion forced on us are the ones not co-existing in peace, yet our very own traditional religion have existed longer and be at peace with all forms of other religion. What exactly is 11000 + 4000 U.S troops alone doing in Haiti ? ElRazur, thats for you ,
Army have experts amongst them. Not every Marine, GI joe or Navy seal is just a soldier, some of them are expert at certain trades - Lawyers, engineers, doctors, nurses and various other expertise. smiley

Haiti right now need all the help it can get, that is the main point the US is focusing on, but it appears you have missed this already.

I am struggling to understand how one's tone can automatically translate as insult. huh Perhaps those who know better than me can explain. Again, there is nothing arrogant about his way. He is passionate and he put that in his questions. Sorry, but what is wrong with that?

Nigerians believe that only married people are responsible.A laughable assertion,if you ask me. 99% of the problems pulling Nigeria down are caused by people IN marriage.

How responsible is that? undecided
Exactly, and that just goes to show a "learned behaviour" or at least something ingrained into us.

Personally, Ithink marriage is nothing but a piece of paper. grin

But you can have that without getting married. huh Go and look up on the founder of playboy [Ithink]. He's got 3 girlfriends who all live in his house, phucks them all and he is about 70 or something. I dunno about you, but when I see him on tv, he sure do look happy. grin

Story. I suppose the notorious criminals escaped in 1934 and 1994 when they invaded Haiti ?
How long is it going to take them to catch the Criminals ?
Because i bet United States will not leave Haiti in two decades.
Meanwhile, why would it be the United States to secure the Airports ?
What  happens to the Haitian Security agents ?

why do people take everything United States throw at them ?
Funny, you are quick to dimiss legitimate reasons as story, yet you went ahead to offer unproven scenarios. Nice.

Haiti is more or less a crippled state as a result of a natural disaster. Even before then, it was suffering badly. Given the chaos that have happened, there are several nations acting under the body of UN present there - not just the US only.

No the criminals escaped during the recent earthquake, but if you wanna get sarcastic, please ride on.

When in two decades, the US is still there, I will take you serious on that one.

The airports was secured for several reasons, I have explained this before - in another thread - and I cant be bothered going over it again. In a nut shell, it the mandate of agreement was approved by haiti president.

What happened to the haiti security forces? Oh dear. Here, some of them may have been killed, missing, unacounted for and possibly not in the right frame of mind? Just a though. And the ones left cannot deal with the whole situation by themselves hence the need for external help which they are receiving from UN and the US.

Why are people so paraniod of the US huh

listen to Ojo maduekwue threatening a journalist 'come to nigeria I will show you!' shocked

and you can see people on NL already defending the minister that the question is insulting
where as he could have avoided it and danced around it like most politicians
I rest my case.

I didn't even see that when I made my post.

Just listening to it now, there is nothing insulting about the questions. All the reporter did was used his past ways to pin him down. All Oju had to do was try and use that chance to set record straight, but he did what most Nairalanders and Nigerians are good for - Thrwo tantrum and insults. What a joke.

Foreign AffairsRe: Why Is The Us Military Occupying Four Airports In Haiti? by ElRazur: 1:46pm On Jan 23, 2010
Oh please, the notorious criminals that were in jail have escaped - over 4000 of them - they even killed the guards in the process.

Lawlessness is starting to take hold.

Logistics needed sorting.

The french have a long history with haiti and their moan is nothing but political.

I suppose given the above and other reasons - cant be bothered listing all - it makes sense to have places like airports, ports etc secured.
PoliticsRe: Hardtalk: Why Can't Nigerian Journalists Interview Like Stephen Sackur? by ElRazur: 1:43pm On Jan 23, 2010
It all boils down to culture!

As nigerians, we usually associate respect with fear - or fear have become interwoven with respect. Hence if a journalist is to pull one off like they do on BBC, there will be a psychological need to "respect" them as they are older or perceived as person of "high status". Once we do away with this sort of things, we may be in the right path.

I mean, look at nairaland here. The first time I challenged RichyBlack here and I remembered asking him not to be silly and was acting ignorant, somone came to his defence that I was "insulting somone they respect". It is this sort of mindset that probably prevent Journalist who may want to emulate stuff seen on BBC hardtalk.

Also, there is the issue of "power show".Can anyone imagine the consequences if IBB, Yar'dua and co was interviewed in that manner in Nigeria? It is safe to assume that something terrible will happen to that journalist as a result.

In my opinion, until we move away from traditions and cultural mindset as these, we may never have people who hold who needs questioning accountable.

Lately, I have been wondering the need for a marriage. While I am not trying to ask if marraige is necessary, I am more or less asking the real reasons people go for it. Yeah there are things like personal choice, been happy etc. But are there any other reasons as to why people take the jump? I am of the belief that it is more or less down to us trying to do what is accepted as the norm, or have been instilled into us. Thoughts?

Negro_Ntns:
debo, go bacl to your source and bring us records of how much destruction, direct and indirect, a 7.0 quake is capable of doing.

Also, your source said that the seismic wave radiates away from the eye. So my question on why only one quadrant out of four was hit by the quake remains unanswered by any of you or Razur. A wave radiates in concentric circle of 360 degrees but the effect is registered only in a 90 degree sector. . .270degree sector did not see anything of the wave.

Please have your expert explain that. Their studies is based on natural occurrence not on artificial one and beside, where did you see me say this was a weapon test?
Get it right then come back with more study reports to explain the science of selective quadrant wave propagation by a naturally occuring eqrthquake.

Apparently my savviness trumps your intelligence, . .if at this point in the discussion you are still struggling to put the counter argument to rest, despite aiding your argument with authorities whose works do not in any way answer the 6 points and questions I raised.

Elrazur + debosky, aided with sourced experts reports and the 6 points remain unanswered. You should stop calling yourself intelligent, you are not!
Oh really? You have evaded questions directed at you, and when presented with arguements that highlights the flaws in your conspiracy theory, you are quick to sprout more drivel and never attend to it. For example, I directed the post below [and a few others] to you, but I never heard you said anything.

To then come out and proclaim superior intelligence is at best laughable. Besides, such move goes to show your own insecurity in your intelligence and the flaws in your conspiracy theory.

ElRazur:
Negro nts and horus, you guys are full of non-sense, and that is me putting it lightly.

For reference purposes, the largest nuclear bomb ever used emited about 50MT and in comparison, the earthquake that have struck haiti about 100mt equavalent of energy over a period of 30s. This equals to about 1.3 billion gigawatts and to put things into perspective, there is no man-made energy source that is THAT powerful. The total power is almost 1000 times the combined power of every power station in the world. How the heck does that even add up huh in your theory huh

Also the US site you guys made reference to [or chavez and youtube conspiracist mentioned] is almost some hundreds of miles away and only generate 3.6mv of energy. How the heck do they manage to generate such a massive amount of energy than all power stations in the world combined and then send to some country hundreds of miles away without doing any damage in the process of transfer ? huh

Once you guys can stop sprouting crap and then give logical explanations and facts, I will start taking you guys serious.

You just lost yourself in the maze of whatever points you wee attempting to make.  C-130 can use paved and unpaved runway is a spec for the aircraft and does not give any fact one way or another of the condition the Port Au Prince airport runway is in. However, the fact that the military aircraft and civilian jetliners (which are not equipped with such adaptations as the Hercules) are able to land and take off conclusively lend credibility and support to the claim that the runway was wholly serviceable in its entire length.  A 7.0 quake, of natural cause (not man made) hitting a city where many structures inside the airport itself were flattened would not spare runways.  We are not talking of one runway but multiple, including taxiways. . .none of which was touched.  Highly improbable and the argument for is more credible that the one against the claim that this indeed had a signature of artificiality to it.  You can huff and puff and run circles around what c-130's specs can do or not do, it does not in any way address the merits of reality at the epicenter of the quake.
Okay, let me play along.

Again you keep forgetting that Natural disasters are not 100% predictable, so therefore your claims of ", would not spare the runway" do not hold am afraid. Your assertions that a runway surviving the severity of the earthquake do not in anyway proof it is man made. No?

I am getting bamboozled here, I thought this was about run way and planes and now other factors? Nice.

Please provide me with proof[s] that this is man-made. Not some "IF" or "dreamt up nonsense", instead proper proof.

.  . .I said answer questions on its merit.  Don't you know what that means?

Don't give me an escapist response, I need analytical response to the qualifying merits of the points and the questions I posted.

You are telling me that C-130 is adaptive for take off and landing. . .expand your imagination.  This does not address te merit, and how about the unadaptive airliners that are using the same runway to land and take off. HOw does your response apply to them?
No I don't know what it means, but I have a feeling you are about to teach me.

You made a claim that C-130 needs at least X amount of runway to land, yet one of the selling point of c-130 is that it can land on a unprepared runway, i.e it do not have to be a proper run way for it to land. Surely, the aftermath left behind more than 3 miles of unprepared run way? No or it swallowed all the runways? grin

No sir, I am telling you that there are several variants - i.e based on the same design - and it is not far fetched to think one of these variants may have improved landing ability - especially considering it uses for military application.

Now sir, how about the points I raised? I am guessing they are unworthy of replies, not because they are rubbish, but because they blow your theory and the conspiracy of Horus away. lol. You are one funny guy.
