**backs away from thread** What a useless topic. In fact anything with "who is the best, fastest, richest, dopest . . . . . " are nothing but useless thread. |

OMO IBO:I dunno, don't want him to blow up like chipmunk. He will become commercial I think. As it stand, his music have more quality in my opinion than Tinchy, dizee et al. Kratos007:I agree they are good, but not sure how they are the King of underground. There are just so many cats out there who are as good but I won't call them kings IMO. |

UK Wiley? He's been around since the "More fire crew" days I think. Unless we are talking about different people here. He's had hits here and there and get regular play. I swear his music is more appealing to the "Urban" section of music I think. |
Well? |
Riverman2:A bit of generalisation isn't? ![]() @Topic I think people are missing what is going on here. Casting agency can be of a bas7ard industry to get into. If you are ready to take the bullsh!t I guess as it isn't all glamour and what not. Ladies actually have to sleep with loads of people at times to get the part. Now I am not saying all the white girls do for that matter, but merely saying what I know about the industry. The artist in question is not even making a fuss. All he is doing is not trying to bow to pressure hence his comments. It is his video, he can allow who ever he wants in it. I don't see why this is an issue. Conversely, people can look at this as Black ladies not keen on perhaps going through all the crap that Modelling and casting industry is known for? Just a thought. |
Tadeus:Dude, you are right. Some people have problem with reasoning and am afraid it is you. Why? The very post of mine you quoted was never telling you to do my wish. It was more of a question. As you can see there are three or so question marks in the sentence you quoted. This is not about positivity or what not. It is about the fact that duplicate thread litters the forum lately. Perhaps if you have read and understand, you would have noticed this thread here and what kosovo was politely asking everyone https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-416827.0.html "Pls always check other threads before posting yours, so we dont have Duplicates." Your thread is not saying anything new and the topic have been done to death. As to why you opened another one is beyond me. ![]() |
Chrisbenogor:How can it be when we have people like you that appears to want to keep holding people together in a relation they do not want to be a part off? Anyway, there are ways and there are ways, however I do not think splitting up will be peaceful. But then, who knows? |
Chrisbenogor:Do you want a blunt answer or want it sugar coated? Here, I do not do candy post. Again look at the bigger picture instead of focusing on me. I want a better Nigeria and will gladly embrace an alternative solution even if it means war. If the lives of people [Including mine] have to be scarified for the greater good, then yes so be it. The difference between you and me is this - You are okay with people pretending things is working in Nigeria, even after 50 years of trying. On the other hand, I am not. I am being realistic. If anyone is self-fish here, it is you. You are happy with wallowing in the same path that have yielded little or nothing in the past 50 years. On the other hand, I am tired of the same path way and you seem to have a problem with this. ![]() Yes I appreciate that there may be war and I stated that I have no problem with that. How that makes me spineless is beyond me. I suppose your problem is the fact that I am vocal about my opinion and I just happen to live outside Nigeria? What a flawed approach. They say the it gets darkest just before down, perhaps we are already heading into the darkest section of Nigeria's history? Hopefully, it will be a dawn for the better where people are not forced to be part of what they may not want to be. |
![]() **Resist the urge to ask him to go and ask his mum whether she was a virgin when she met his dad** **must resist** ***Must resist** ![]() |
I have no problem with him as he seems reasonable. I guess he is just passionate about Nigeria and it may be rubbing off in a bad way. |
hatch#:Do you mind telling me what you have to lose? I asked you this before but you never answered. ![]() |
hatch#:Simple common sense really. It gets to a point where one react, my first post in this thread is one of those times. There are many threads I do not get into because it is a repeat or repost. But I cannot ignore them all. By the way, deal with me as individual. My actions do not represent that of millions of Nigerians. Gosh, simple common sense. Thank you. ![]() |
Actually I am not from the Delta region and as far I am aware there isn't oil found in my village or the state it is in. ![]() I am of the belief that we need a different approach. 5 decade [That is 5 x 10 years ] of trying in the same path have not helped. Hence why I side with spiting up - with several *options. I guess your post is a bit flawed sir. ![]() *Options include breaking up into Autonomous region, Having separate defined boundaries but sharing a few things perhaps like army? etc. |
hatch#:I think you should go back to read my post in the original thread. Again, there is a difference between actively seeking war - warmongering - and saying if war happens then it happens. Surely, you can see these are two different things? ![]() The fact remains, I do not have to be at home to fight IF there is a war. Wars can be fought in many ways. There is nothing rubbish about what am saying, but I guess if you cannot counter my points after removing the misconception you have, it is cool to attack the man right? It is called ad hominem. |
hatch#:It get boring going round and round in circles. While I believe time is ripe for another way, I think most people back at home will probably feel the same. I am not actively advocating for war, however there is a big possibility there could be a civil war if Nigerians opt to break up Nigeria because of the resources and interest etc. At this point, I think it is better to embrace any possible outcome - even if that means war - than continuously going down the same way in like we have in the past 5 decades. Again you and a few others do not seem to realise that everyone of us do not have to come home to lead a war perse. War can be fought in many ways, please remember that for next time. ![]() |
Chrisbenogor: ![]() Are you indirectly identifying one the many issues with Nigeria? The clampdown on freedom of expression and speaking out against the government? Nice. Why do someone have to come down before change can be made? I gave a very good example before, which is - During a period of War, the people that actually make the decisions as to where to attack and what not do not engage in the battle, but their decisions are vital. |
ziga:You are not getting my point. Let me make myself clearer. While it is true that no one is untouchable, in this instance I am not sure how Nigeria can hurt or get back at him for this. A report to UN or Mohammed will not bother him in the slightest I think. |
After report nko? Ghadaffi is almost untouchable in such instances. The row will die down in a week or two. |
So what was the need for this thread? Surely this issue have been discussed to death. All you had to do was post in one of them? ![]() |
hatch#:Surely, given you defence of Nigeria, I somehow expect you to have an endearment for . You know, something like "Hope" "Tomorrow go better" or something along those lines. Jeez, you aint fooling no one. We can read in between the lines. Just come over to the Dark side joo. Lmao. |
9jaganja People are afraid of change. It is basic human nature and what makes us human. Just look at how many people opposes Nigeria breaking up here too.As for calling people names and what not, it is part and parcel of freedom of speech, however, there are balances with local laws. It should also be noted that those protesting do not speak for America or the majority of Americans. Rush is just one hypocrite whose talk and puff is nothing but for his own gain - he's got a radio show and he makes a living from saying crazy stuff. Welcome to America. ![]() |

I have listened to a few people lately and while I feel they are really good, they probably do not get the recognition they deserve. WC - I love his sharp lyricism and how he is yet to be make it big past the West Coast is a bit puzzling. Canibus - He is a lyrical man-god. Anyone who denies this may need to listen to him. I think he is so good that it is his downfall. I.e his style is not commercial enough and may not appeal to big record label. But there is no denying that he is one of the under-rated. Those are the two playing in my head for now. Do you have any? |
Honerico1 lol. Calm down. Didn't you tell me I too dey argue? Relax and take a chill pill. By the way, I read you post but I dey do my project so I go reply at some point or may be not. Just calm down sho gbo? Kai! Ogele fever. |
Well, give it a week or so more. Some people have shown interest only for them to pull out. As it stands, I think we need more people. Besides, any chance of getting this on the home page please? |
