CareerRe: Barbing Vs Tailoring Which One Is Advisable To Learn? by Elvis778(m): 11:09am On Aug 02, 2020
laosy:
You should opt for barbing as a guy, unless you want to sow ladies wear too cuz guys barely sow.
We buy ready made jeans and top and we're good. Barbing on the other hand is easier to learn and set up within a short time, and definitely people barb daily but people doesn't sow daily.
Lol, seriously, you will never know the money in tailoring until you work in a good tailor's shop, I am currently learning how to sew (since school never wan open) and I must say, money dey here no be small, u might not sew much but many guys are into senator wears these days and it ain't cheap, atleast, you would pay not less than 4k per wear, depending on the material...and if the tailor is sourcing for the material himself, we will be talking of 8-20k depending on the material.....and it's fun too.

The mere fact that corruption activities are being exposed in this administration is a testament to the fact that corruption is being fought much better than before.

Anybody who expects to have a corruption free PMB government should go to heaven to find one there.

Slowly but surely we are moving forward.

We cannot be blackmailed with articles like this one.

If PDP has started like this we would have gone a little far already.

how does it prove that he is fighting corruption?
Buratai's has been exposed,
Ganduje too,
Abba kyari (when he was alive) and so many others,
what did Buhari do about it? NOTHING
oh sorry, he did something (put up a defense).

What we are seeing now is a far better fight against corruption than the covid 16 years of the Poverty Development Party.

This administration has sent 4 ex - governors who are members of APC to prison. Many ex - government officials and the former PDP spokesman are in prison for corruption.

I challenge anyone to show me any high profile conviction of any PDP member during its covid 16 years.

All the corruption allegations we are seeing in public today wouldn't have been possible during the PDP era, they would have covered up every single one of it.

When Odua was indicted of corruption, they rewarded her with Senate ticket. When Sanusi exposed corruption, they sacked him immediately.

I agree that corruption is still a big challenge, but compared to the miserable PDP era, Buhari's fight against corruption is like a billion times better!!!!

I AM DONE TALKING
STFU.....yes, the past administration was very corrupt, but this present administration is the most corrupt since 1999, a government that the president annoints a man caught on tape stashing wads of cash into his agbada?

it's actually a 50-50, the court probably dismissed the case cuz of lack of concrete evidence (even though they are yet to state why but it's most likely the case here).....
so both team of lawyers will go work on their file, the accuser gathering more evidence to re-file the case, and the defendant gathering more defense strategies.....it's still 50-50

Let me still put this here!!

I'm not a fan of Buratai or a fan of Buhari!!

But I must commend this government in the fight against Bokoharam in the north East.

Before 2015 Bokoharam were strong and well equipped that no northern state is safe.

Kano was not safe... Bombing here and there!!

Kaduna, Gombe, bauchi, Sokoto, Kebbi,Adamawa, And Yobe were not safe...bomb was killing people here and there!!

They take over local governments and take full control... Displacing and bombing people in large number... There's no week we don't hear of Bokoharam attack in the north.

Even Borno the headquarter of Bokoharam is now almost free if not some villages which are soft targets

Today Bokoharam only have the capacity to attack Borno villages that are close the forest.

We northerners know that things are now better compare how it was before.

The only problem I have the with this government is their poor stragies in the fight against bandit in kastina, Zamfara and southern kaduna.

We only want BUHARI's government to do more!

Bandits in zamfara and kastina should be given same attention that was given to Bokoharam stop underestimating them...

We need more action and change of outdated strategies!
STFU, yes, shut up
can u compare the death toll in both yaradua's and GEJ's tenure put together, with the death toll after buhari's first tenure??

Can you clearly read the conclusion again & then modify your statement.
am talking to those that think castration is the best punishment for rape
CrimeRe: Countries Where Castration Is A Punishment For Rapists by Elvis778(m):
mayprince:
These Countries have enacted Castration as punishment for Rapists.

Increasing reports of rape and child sexual abuse have pushed many lawmakers around the world to formulate policies to tackle this pressing issue. Among this is castration. The House of representative has earlier rejected Castration as punishment for Rapist on a basis of what will happen to a female rapist. However, Kano state House of assembly have recently commenced the process to further amend its law to make castration a penalty for rape offenders. This has generated a generated a lot of controversies but a critical look at these countries will provide deep inspection to the punishment.

It is to be noted that castration can be Surgical or Chemical.

Surgical castration involve the loss of testicles. This procedure applies to males only while Chemical castration is used to reduce sexual urges.A drug is used here to reduce sexual drives, compulsive sexual fantasies and capacity for sexual arousal.

Can a female be chemically castrated? Yes, it effects on a female is the same as a male though there is little research about chemically lowering female's sex drive since most research focuses on the opposite sex.

Now let's look at this countries that have enacted such law:

1. Indonesia - Indonesia's parliament on October 2016 passed law authorising chemical castration following a number of high profile cases of child sexual abuse in the country. The first man sentenced to chemical Castration in 2019 said he would prefer an increase in prison time or even the death penalty.

2. Czech republic - The Czech Republic practice surgical Castration for sex offenders. The law was introduced in 1966. According to official figures, 85 people underwent surgical castration in the Czech Republic between 2000 and 2011. However this practice has drawn strong criticism from rights groups.

3. Ukraine - Ukraine's parliament on July 2019 approves measure to chemically castrate rapists. The legislation will potentially apply to individuals aged between 18 and 65 found guilty of raping or sexually abusing minors.

4. Alabama - Alabama is a Southeastern US state. It signed into law a bill that requires some convicted paedophiles to undergo chemical castration. The bill was signed into law by Governor Kay Ivey in June 2019.

If these countries have legalised castration in order to reduce offending, this may be plausible on the grounds of individual rehabilitation, but we may still need more evidence to establish that it will be effective as a general deterrent.

https://twitter.com/Tobimichael001/status/1284284096651419648?s=19[/quote]surgically castrated men still rape people, their has been reported cases where castrated men, raped and even killed their victim. castrating a man after purberty does not stop sexual urge, for chemical castration, it only works while he is under treatment, once he stops, he gets back to normal, the only solution for rape cases is mental reorientation or life imprisonment. castration is not a solution.....the urge to rape is more of a psychological problem than a sexual problem.

COVID-19 causes severe lung infection, and it's logical to relate such deaths to COVID-19 cuz it has never been this high, more popular figures have died this year than 2019 and 2018 put together and we are still at the 7th month of the year, use your head.

Enugu city has to sacrifice for other LGA too,
Enugu state is not a rich state, and our debts are very high, you don't expect the governor after Chime to do magic, and start transforming everywhere at same pace, Chime borrowed alot, a whole lot to transform the state capital, the debt is being paid back today, presently the state doesn't have the resources to carry every town and city along, imagine with all the money Sullivan borrowed, he still neglected other parts of Enugu, how then do you expect someone working with just the state funds to work more than the previous government? .......though I will have to be sincere, my only problem with the present government is lack of maintenance culture it's not all about new projects but maintaining the old ones too, (if your argument was pointed towards that direction, I will totally agree with you), but saying he isn't working at all, I will have to disagree with you on that.

Sullivan did not do any reasonable thing anywhere asides Enugu city and his home town, that's what you lots fail to realize, I don't miss him one bit, yes he transformed Enugu city but other local governments bled profusely,
my home town was nothing to write home about throughout his tenure,
old roads from the 90's,
stupid GRA,
condemned government schools, no single housing project(that has changed too),
only reasonable thing the town had was the University, but the story is changing today, most locals never knew the joy of night life cuz the night was always dark, but that has also changed cuz we have streetlights (methane lamps) in every major road and some streets, powered with a transformer and a standby generating set in case there's a blackout..... other local governments are benefitting too, the present governor is trying with the little in the state's Pocket, he is trying to carry everyone along, though I will advise him to work more, there are alot of things that's yet to be attended to, but saying he is not working is a very big lie,
remember he is still paying for all the money Sullivan borrowed, but still working.

Whether Ghana locked up shops of foreigners before Nigeria closed its borders, what difference does it make? The law barring non-Ghanaians from the retail business in Ghana, applies to all foreigners in Ghana. Why is it only Nigerians that are complaining? Jealous, of what? Jealous, of whom? Nigerians? By the way you forgot that five million Nigerians live in Ghana currently? Why would they live in a country that is “jealous “ of them?

I think six or so nigerians banks operate in Ghana. If Ghanaians are “jealous “ of Nigerians, no Ghanaian would do business with nigerian banks in Ghana. Those banks will have closed shop and gone back to Nigeria. But because Ghanaians do business with them, they make huge profits which they repatriate back to Nigeria to feed families in that country.

I lived briefly in your country and saw raw hatred against Ghanaians on the streets of your country. Hypocrites! Always finding fault with others and never admitting their own evil streaks. Even a child born today knows the hatred Nigerians have for Ghanaians. You don’t need to go far. Check out what you nigerians say about Ghanaians on nairaland. But frankly, Ghanaians don’t really give a fvck about you nigerians think about them.
The news clearly said "Nigerian shops" not foreigners.......don't know where you got your own from, besides, there was a free trade agreement, do you think we also don't have laws guiding foreign businesses here too? but it's suspended cuz of the free trade stuff, but you guys broke it...
and ofcourse, your comment reeks of the normal hatred you all have for Nigeria, funny thing is, Nigerians really don't have the time to hate on foreigners, we are one of the most accommodating people in Africa (if not the most)....how many times have you heard we attacked foreigners or locked up a fellow African's shop? not to talk of someone from a west African country.... can you post a proof of us treating foreigners or even, Ghanaians unjustly? ofcourse you have non, you just come here blab and make unfounded claims..... right now, we only dislike you cuz we know you hate us, and you are biting more than you can chew...

Ghanaians are not and will never be jealous of Nigeria. What has nigeria got to make Ghana jealous? This is a joke, right?

If you think Ghana has flouted any law by limiting the participation of foreigners in its retail trade, you can go to the Ecowas court, which is located in your city Abuja. You can’t go the Ecowas court because nigerians know they don’t have a case.

You are talking about free trade? You know about free trade and yet you closed your borders? Isn’t the closure of your land borders also a violation of the free movement, free trade principle of ECOWAS? Or is this another example of the hypocrisy of the Nigerian?
Last time I checked, you guys locked up those shops before we locked up our boarders, forget sentiments, you guys are just way too jealous....else I don't see why you'd shut people's shops for no just reason, you should have refused the free trade agreement if you knew you won't let foreigners trade freely in your state...
and to think that we didn't even lock our boarders having you in mind, we did so to curb smuggling but you felt it badly, now what do you think would happen if we chose to retaliate your hate filled actions??

We definitely need to be careful when criticizing a foreign government for choosing to protect its citizens. Ghanaians have their mode of trading, and thus it's the onus of the government to protect their business culture irrespective of your judgement of whether it's good or bad. This is especially important for small businesses. The government of Ghana wouldn't be doing right by its people, if they allow foreigners to overwhelm their retail businesses, drive prices down, and put them out of business. Our government in Nigeria as well have the right to close our borders, in the interest of the Nigerian people. None of these is more justifiable than the other. The citizens should be the first priority of any sovereign. I don't understand why Nigerians think this way. When a government does something to protect its citizens you call it jealousy, but if our government does this, it's great. Besides in all honesty, to hell with international law, if at any point in the evolution of any economy, once the international laws come in the way of development, the national/local laws must take precedence.
Do you understand the free trade agreement?? put forward by ECOWAS and agreed upon by west African countries? if you do you won't be saying this.....if what they did is right by you, then their's no point in the purported "free trade" they shouldn't have signed it.....it's not our fault that we are more successful in the business more than them, or is it?

A Nigerian was arrested after having a little quarrel with his South African girlfriend, he left his place for his girlfriend to avoid more trouble, the police arrested him on the way, beat him mercilessly, took him back to his place and beat him more, he was at the point of death, then they took him to their station where they detained him until his death...now they reported he committed suicide in custody...what do you have to say about that?

also, most Nigerians that have been to South Africa don't think the "criminal thingy" is why you guys hate us, they think it's cuz u feel they came to take what's yours, your jobs, women, etc....and that's the reason u attack all foreigners and not just Nigerians, pretending you are fighting crime (I don't see how u fight crime by looting legit shops and burning legit cars)
