I think a lot of people still need SD cards in Africa though. We hardly stream stuff that much cos of data.
Many of us are used to streaming via Netflix and Spotify etc that we forget regular people still prefer offline entertainment.
In fact, many IPhone users can't even afford surplus data, so they end up deleting stuff instead of using the cloud.
Though the budget devices still have it though so maybe it's not that serious.

Absolutely, the latest Android 11 update on my ex Redmi note 9s affect the voice call, I always do hard reboot before i can hear what people are saying. I dropped the phone and embrace Apple iPhone. At least, update is sure and if there’s bug they would rectify within some weeks. Seriously speaking Xiaomi brand is good to have, but software update and ram optimization is somehow.

I think they're kind of correct when the device gets quite old though. Software updates might end up slowing it down, although I'm too itchy to not try it out.
Like my brother is convinced updates killed the camera on my mi 8 but It still looks the same to me after 2 years so I don't know.

Who has seen this comparison vs the S21.
The poco f3 reportedly got a new update improving the camera substantially.
Considering it's a three year old lens which was used in mi 9t/k20, it's quite good though.
I believe we've gotten to a stage where nearly every upper midrange phone takes good pics unless you want to nitpick like the reviewers. Lol.

Though video is still a big deal.

actually, face recognition is not secure with android phones. Don't think any of the android OEMs still uses infrared or 3d scanning since they all started to use a single camera sensor in the small cut out hole now.
A picture would likely unlock an android phone with face unlock.

Anyway, I am quite certain this thread was made by a transission marketer but I have to say you have to be a Tech Illiterate to compare Xiaomi to Infinix or Tecno.
We're talking about the third biggest brand in the world here.
Xiaomi has been making phones with flagship processors for years and you want to compare them to Infinix and Tecno that have vowed to never use Snapdragon processors. In fact, just until recently, they always used ancient MediaTek processors and stuck big batteries in them just to exploit Nigerians.
Even the UI on these devices is an eyesore to me.

Check out camera comparison of the Redmi note 10 pro vs the iPhone 12 on YouTube and get shocked at how close they are for such a cheap phone.

That said, it doesn't mean Xiaomi is perfect either as I don't like how they manage RAM and I'd probably buy a Samsung next, but to compare Xiaomi to Tecno or Infinix is something only an uneducated person should do.

I recommend you spend time to learn what CPU, GPU, screen resolution, are on google before creating these embarrassing threads.
