GCam will not make you a superstar photographer. GCam will not make up for your flaws. GCam doesn't guarantee excellent shots.

Most of the pics you see are down to proper editing and photographic skills. Not GCam. Yes some people get lucky shots but that's that.

Lots of these people have unrealistic expectations for GCam. So much so that when they finally get it, they believe that an app will make them produce pics that of expert quality.

This Dunning-Kruger's syndrome is very endemic in a lot of us.

Apple is has this perception of luxury, so who would be likely to use Apple devices if not celebrities who pursue luxury?
Imessage is also more popular than whatsapp in America for instance so its normal for people to gravitate towards Iphones.

A lot of People who use iPhones here can't even pay for apple music nor Netflix etc, and they have to go through more painful processes to get videos/music downloaded and working perfectly.
Lets not pretend that a Samsung wouldn't be more functional for these people.
I once saw a young lad playing music on xender app on his iPhone. This is way less functional than a traditional music app for instance. You sha get my point. Popular never means better.
I remember the craze for Blackberry devices back in the day when the only meaningful thing it had was bbm and was significantly inferior to a Symbian device but people gobbled it up anyways.

Even a 2015 Flagship Android will not hang like a dirt cheap Tecno device made in 2020.

The only reason you could legitimately offer is the longevity of the OS updates but Flagship Androids are catching up with 3 years of updates. Noteworthy to mention Androids are already so mature feature-wise that iOS is only still catching up to even arguably android 9.
