The late Senator Buruji Kashamu has been buried in his palatial home in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun state.

He reportedly died on Saturday due to complications from Covid-19 infection.

His death has caused so much controversy on social media, notable of all the Condolence message by Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who had berated the late Senator even after his death.

Obasanjo in his message, addressed to Governor Abiodun of Ogun state, wrote that the Senator who evaded justice over alleged drug trafficking charges, couldn't escape death.

The two staff of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Chidinma Ajoku and Chinma who were crushed to death by a fallen container in Lagos, have been buried.

The sad incident happened at the Ilasamaja area of the state on the 26th July when the duo were on their home from work.

The 20-feet container fell on a commercial bus they boarded after the truck hit their bus while offloading passengers at the bus stop.

Chidinma's  funeral took place at Ikoyi cemetery on Saturday, August 8, and was attended by her family and friends.

Big Brother Naija, BBNaija housemate Laycon was seen in a video telling Prince of when Erica tried to kiss him but he refused simply because he felt it wasnt right as she appeared to be drunk.

Laycon revealed Erica had many times attempted to kiss him which he refused because he didn't want to take advantage of her condition. He further stated that he was not please seeing Kiddwaya kissing the vulnerable lady when he did so.

The drama between Laycon, Erica and Kiddwaya in the BBNaija house took a new turn last night when the rapper almost cried after Kiddwaya kissed Erica in his presence.

It was just moments after the Saturday night party and the housemates had retreated to their various beds.

Erica who was apparently drunk could be seen lying down on her bed as Kiddwaya made move to kiss her repeatedly, which didn't seem to go well with Laycon.

In the clip, the obviously heartbroken housemate could be seen watching the lovebirds with a 'side-eye' and one could tell he was not at his best at that moment. It must have taken a little jot of restraint for him not to burst out crying loudly.

Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold was featured on the Qua Magazine, a tabloid targeted at the LGBTQ community and Nigerians have come for his wife, Simi.

The reason why she is being attacked on social media was because she made a derogatory statement on the Queer community while appearing on a TV show yesterday. She has since apologized, but members of the community see her apology as a means to save her husband's Adekunle Gold recent feature on the magazine.

Seeing Adekunle Gold's post, Twitter users called out Simi and they told her that her apology was given with an ulterior motive to secure the bag for her husband.

They are however petitioning the owners of the magazine to take down her husband's image from their cover.

People have tagged the magazine to Simi's homophobic posts and asked them to take down Adekunle Gold from their magazine.

In response, the magazine's editor tweeted:

"Hello! Please be aware I was approached by AG’s team for the cover with no idea of the simi situation! Please know I am heartbroken and I feel your anger. I am deeply sorry and will be working on fixing this."
