Thumbs up! Good Job |
HOUSING FOR THE POOR : cheap technology needs to be developed and applied in the buildings, am aware we have research institute in the construction and building industry, and FG pumps money in to this institute. 1-bedroom and 2 bedrooms flats in highrise of 3 storey building that cost N900,000 to N1.2million Mortgage facility with non-discriminatory lending rates not less than 10 years and not more than 30% upfront payment. The above is not an impossibility, but no shown political will from the Govt of the day |
What is your manifesto like for the people of your local govt? Do you have a holistic understanding of the needs of the communities in your loval govt? Do you want to be a LGA chairman to steal the national cake as usual? Answer those questions in your closet to yourself, that is the first step to become a LGA chairman |
hope they listen and agree |
That amount can build 10 brand new primary schools with state of the art facilities never seen in any government school !!!!!! waoh! Nigerian leaders!!! |
Nigerian youths, learn to use google the more, and less facebook and other social netwrking sites It reduces ignorance, and you would be surprised the amount of information at your fingertips. Information at least more credible than the one you heard in your village. |
Ribadu / Fashola 2015 |
The biggest poverty alleviation programme that needs to be implemented by Nigerian masses is Family Planning The biggest poverty alleviation programme that needs to be implemented by Nigerian govt. is electrical power in all parts of the country |
^^^^ Thank you. I guess man's insensitivity, 7 human lives (not chicken) were lost |
Has he donated tp Lagos State University? Na Federal university , UNILAG he go come donate to. |
low per capita income . lol |
hausawa1:Why do you think this dude is boasting ? When facts and figures are peddled around, there is no midway. it is either a lie or truth. I for one share the same thought pattern. You will be deceiving yourself if you dont know there is a wide disparity between the North and South in terms of Education. A critical look at the way the nnpc was conducted, shows that it tends to favour folks with science and engineerin background, and You will need to squeeze water out of the rocks to get sizeable and quality folks studyin this courses in the North eastern and North western part of the country, Take Yobe state for example, how many science and engineering tailored graduates have they produced in the last 5 years Don't becloud your reasoning with tribal sentiments. |
That guy's dialogue was so right, as i was also listening to the prog, i immediately called the Police Pro in Ibadan to tune in to Oluyole fm, who picked my call at the second attempt, he sounded shocked, but called back 5 mins, and his line was some what unreachable. |
PointB:Even with the magic numbers in the south east and southsouth, Jonathan had less than 60% of the total votes cast |
For the departed souls, May God grant them eternal rest, the injured; speedy recovery. Jonathan needs to act up, I will suggest he sends a bill to the house for special terrorism courts for speedy trial of alleged terrorist, set up a special intelligence team to infiltrate the various boko haram camps. He also needs to guard his tongue against making "ugly" statements, his number one transformation agenda is now security God help Nigeria |
What this not the guy who said with a stern face "Obj is Nigeria;s Mandela!!! ? " |
Cement price is now at an all time high N2,500 |
Jonathan should vow to crash the price of cement to N1,000 , then bingo cement price is N1000 ![]() |
My word is in Job 32 vs 9 |
That power supply has improved in your village does not mean power supply has improved in Nigeria !!! OK As it is improving in your hamlet, it is getting worse in some others!. The improvement is not sustainable. Power sector needs serious iron fisted approach than it is now- still so much corruption going on with power projects. So much lip service and feeble action by the helmsman. Power transmission is a problem, Distribution is a problem, Generation is a disaster.!!!!!!!!! |
mrjingles:Microfinance should be focused on the roadside groundnut seller, the poorest of the poor. , there collateral must be peer pressure. , that is why focus should be on groups e.g 6 groundnut sellers. It should be micro in the real sense of it. Current microfinance institutions are competing with commercial banks, and commercially oriented. Microfinance should be more of a social package;"Not for profit"--- profit just for sustainability. Bangladesh has a success story. Ministry of finance and CBN needs to work out a more practical MFI. |
Microfinance institutions parntering co-operatives/ groups, especially women across the 774 local govts in nigeria. There is a need to revisit the earlier grandiose microfinance framework. It must have been written inside nicon hilton hotel by some big suit mofos, there is a need to close the gap of the rich and the poor. poverty rate taken to say 25% by 2015, it is achievable. Grassroot minded microfinance is the way forward. |
Jona is always vowing. Me sef i vow to make all nigerians millionaire by 2015 . You berra believe me more than jona. |
Shiooooooorrrrrr! No serious political will, no radicalness, just pure bull shittttt talk, only 40% of Nigerians have access to electricity, of the 40% , power supply is grossly erratic. Power generation is dropping steadily from what it was in April 2011. Bunch of failures they are. ![]() |
If Dimeji Bank-ole had not lost at the polls, he would have been gladly re-elected as the speaker of the house, no biggie about Mark been re-elected as Senate President. I know the types of David Mark, IMO he is not a visionary leader, no radicalness that Nigeria needs, just lip service, at best a mediocre. No more room for ex military men. |
I am aware it was a chinese firm that constructed the itire-okota bridge in lagos, and it was constructed and commisioned at a record time of 18 months |
David Mark ? What da heck is special about him. Oh, because he is always composed hitting the gavel. He is now good for the president. Nigerians should still remeber him for the statement that " telephone is not for the poor", when he was a soldier. He doesn't seem visionary one bit. I will prefer Abacha to be resurrected from the grave instead ![]() |
Beaf:I am taking the interview report with the pdp chair with a pinch of salt, He couldn't even hide his bile of bitterness of losing out, Osun state is not Lagos state. It is more or less a "civil service state". I am not aware that Perm. Secretaries of this ministeries have been sacked or stopped working. Aregbesola needs to transform the civil service state to a more vibrant economy through improved activities, making it more agrarian as possible, providing good roads, improving the status of the primary and secondary education in the state, e.t.c . I will like to know what relationship the PDP chair has with the monarch accused of raping a female youth corper, Assisting such character in getting a bail isn't one of Aregbesola's priorities . |
Beaf:Appointing commisioners is just one of the instruments for governance, It is NOT governance, creating jobs for the un employed 20,000 youths is good governance. Having the right sense to know when to execute projects is good governance. Many projects fail coz they were not properly planned. Holistic approach to solving problems , rather than quick fix. |
The Phii Dii Phii chair sounds like a LOSER he is, his points are no points, just a whining of a loser, he has lost out on the Phony contracts he used to be awarded. May God forgive him. shioooor!!! |
Fashola / El-Rufai (VP) wont be a bad idea, it should also be captivating for the youths. A rigorous campaign can play a magic. The bothched ACN / CPC platform can be reconstructed. The two parties are still the largest opposition parties. |
