Not aware of the 24 months deadline, but am aware of the 3 new refineries Lagos- 30,000bpd Bayelsa - 30,000bpd Kogi- 150,000 bpd |
No Biggie!. The Chief press secretary to former Enugu state Governor. NNAMANI was a yoruba man till 2007. |
For my Governor to have created jobs for 10,000 in lieu of at most 100 is better, to be most likely serviced with the same amount. i Think nigerians are always beclouded with the traditional elitist approach of governance. At worst, it is still palliatives for now, an hungry man is an angry man. When we sit down and ask ourselves real questions like how prevalent poverty is ravaging the voiceless ones, we will understand what real development is. Was able to slashed the tuition fee of Osun State University students by over 60% , good news to parents and students; students who might have dropped out of school, or resort to crime!!!. Abraham lincoln once said, “If I had six hours to cut down trees, I’d spend the first three hours sharpening my axe, and the last three cutting down the trees.” Lincoln was a smart man. Aregbesola's antecedents speaks for him. He performed creditably well as Commissioner of works in Lagos. |
gboye_1999:The total crude processing capacities of the 4 refineries are 445,000bpd= 18 million litres / day. The main output from the refineries is within 60% of the total crude processing capacities Nigeria needs a minimum of 30 million litres of petrol daily . Though this kind of statement sounds like a recycled gist that has been peddled around since PDP took over 12years ago |
very good chances |
If you have ever had course to take loan from a commercial bank, you will find out that the total charge has a breakdown. E.g If commercial bank A offers a loan @ 21%/annum. Breakdown might be CBN Pegged interest rate -----17.5% Admin. cost ------ 3.0% Running cost------ 0.5%. if in the middle of the loan the CBN pegged rate changes, it affects your total payback. The Admin cost + running cost is fixed, and determined by the commercial banks. This accounts for varying interest rate by commercial banks. But in case of the Islamic banking the CBN Pegged interest rate is 0%, all other charges stands. Hope you Understand .N.B : Full fledged bankers should provide more enlightenement., i am speaking from my 1 year youth service experience in a bank, i had course preparing loan facilities. |
^^^^The Islamic banks will charge administrative/running cost , but wont charge interest. Commercial banks charge admin cost + running cost + CBN pegged interest rate. |
seyi42k:i think the noise sounds like music. The music; i think we can dance to it. |
@ OP, Banning of okada is a no- no at the moment in Lagos., like some one pointed out, the fact that you have a jalopee does not mean you should advocate for a ban of Okada. One thing we all here should realise is the income profile and standard of living of lagosians or nigerians. An average nairalander is in the 0%-10% of income profile, the other 90% are voiceless, poor, hungry and angry. Any policy that does not connect this 90% is inhuman. Our politicians and policy makers in the 0%-2% easily forgets this principle. There is so much disconnect and selfishness up there. The 3%-10% wants to join the 0%-2% profile. the remaining 90% are in perpetual vicious cycle of poverty, and would never buy a car in there lifetime, and no hope for there generation unborn. MAN'S INHUMANITY AND SELFISHNESS!!! |
jmaine:At the last count, population density in Lagos State is 20,000 per sq. km. while vehicular density is 222 per sq. km. Compared with the national average of 1,308 persons per sq km and 11 vehicles per sq km respectively i will try and locate where the calculation was done based on the total vehicles and total km of motorable road. the 1/4 was obtained from the above data. |
1 out of 4 vehicles in Nigeria is on lagos road. loads of pressure on those roads, way out is alternative means of transportation, rail e.t.c. especially heavy duty vehicles might need alternative routes. |
Guy, NO DO AM O!. I believe you are most likely not in love with her, but infatuated with her. Your ego is at the highest point on the mountain because of the attention you are getting from her, it is in stroking your feelings wrongly. She is also confused. I have been in a similar situation with a hijab girl, though she was about to get married then. She even told her fiancee she was breaking her relationship. I pleaded with her to get back. I almost got in to the trap, a girl who could not shake the hand of a guy outside, almost did sometinnnnns wit me. I severed communication with her, and learnt she brought her weddin iv to my house , while i was serving. |
I thought this man has just spent 50 days or thereabout, with no physical projects yet, where does the comparison come from?? |
eeya, i remembered the man featured on a program "face off" on STV, he gave a fairly good account of himself against joe igbokwe. If he actually commited suicide, poor him(at what age!) P.S : But those rescuers look callous, look like they were on excursion, and checking tidal waves! Nigerians and our value for life. I |
you will be surprise what level of negative change she will show you, if she mistakenly gets in to school months before you. You also might be surprise how u will feel about her some months from now. Enjoy it while it last now though, anything can happen. You are walking on a thin rope, you might sail through. |
soon? ! That must be some 48 months from now, at least we have some "very fast" locomotive moscow (5km/hr) to ply the rail. ku -dos to GEJ , the messiah we have been waiting for, huuuuun! fresh air!!!!. |
Learnt the NNPC towers in Abuja is heavy guarded, Pencilled as one of Boko haram's next targets.? How true is this ooooo? |
Who ever tries running down a great school like Unilag, needs to be examined. People and stereotype sha!!! I have HEARD the clubbing poo a million and one times. An average rejected applicant to UNILAG ends up spitting shit against the school he was not admitted to Show me a Unilag graduate, i will show you a balanced and well grounded graduate. Check out there performance in the labour force. Fallacy of generalisation is way toooooo unintelligent. |
in one word i will "CRUSH" them. no dialogue please. Establish special courts for anti terrorism cases. |
Much of the lagos island axis land (water) is being sand filled, the displaced water goes where? i presume part of the heavy flooding in that area can be alluded to this Lagosians also need to change attitude of throwing waste in to drainages. |
i sincerely hope she wont disappoint, IMO, her response on her inauguration to the question by journalists as what she will bringing to the table was highly unimpressive and incoherent, the journalist needed to shift the question to the house leader. I want to believe it was the tense situation in the air. |
This other south western Governors should be very careful trying to "copy" Lagos state. They are no mates , the Governors need to develop "unique" development agenda, likewise followers in these states should lessen expectations at least in the first year of govt, that is the " bitter truth" |
2-2 is not that bad, me thinks any uni graduate with less than that was not serious in school. The dad who got angry with him does not hate the boy , although might not understand what an average undegrads go through nowadays compared to some 20-30 years ago. If the fear is that of getting a good job, it is well understood, but one thing is certain he might get a good job even before his mates with 2-1 and above , that is where God comes in . Let the gee get stirred up, as much as possible develop himself, coz the job market in naija is not smiling. |
Nigerians are intelligent though selfish , we are not as smart as we might claim. Intelligence gives you short term results, but smartness gives favourable long term results. Nigerians are not smart enough to vote right leaders yet ! ![]() |
The girl needs to go through a PAIN theraphy, i.e she associates massive pain to stealing. She might continually picture mob beating her , and tyre being thrown around her neck for onward , A spiritual approach need to be taken to. |
Good one!, me thinks the advantages outweighs the minuses. The state govt can go on a concession agreement with the firm , hoping they have a wonderful legal and regulatory framework for the project, the firm must not just create jobs for Nigerians, but focus on human capital development for nigerians on modern commercial farming techniques . That will make a good bargain, we can not continue to deceive ourselves with the claim of an arable land that we have left dormant all along, moreover the state govt does not have the fiscal prowess for massive projects of such nature, without it affecting other pressing needs like education, health e.t.c |
ACN !!!!!, the broom revolution?, well a party that has national assembly members in kaduna,, adamawa, anambra, benue, taraba, edo is surely moving out of the regional clouds of the south west |
Divide and |
If this much could be recorded in the North, where indigenes are seemingly not technological savvy, maybe we can now understand how the MAGIC NUMBERS in the south south and south east came about, |
Having all the riches in the world does not necessarily make one happy, Nigerians are one of the happiest people in the world, more importantly it is caused by hope against hope, they are also one of the most religious. Religions is stated to be the OPIUM of the masses by Karl Max. Happiness is primarily a decision, if you doubt that, you might get suicidal when you get richer than Dangote |
"The woman in red is Baridi Naleloo, PDP women leader Ward 4 B-Dere and a staff of Gokana local government working for Mr. Victor Giadom chairman of the council and a cousin of Hon. Magnus Abe. Woman thumb printing is Barivure a staff of University of Science and technology, Port Harcourt and a PDP member". The "actresses" have been identified. |
