PoliticsRe: Buhari’s Blue Print: ‘my First 100 Days In Office by emiye(m): 7:55pm On Apr 03, 2015
He should under promise and exceed expectations. One thing is clear though and possibly separates this from what past politicians promise, this is backed by a strong political WILL POWER. the next 55 days is agenda setting by Nigerians , his govt will need to look in to those agendas, his success or lack of it starts from the people he will delegate to do the job at hand, i encourage right competencies.

PoliticsRe: Group‬ Tells Buhari To Call Ekiti APC Members To Order by emiye(m): 11:22pm On Apr 02, 2015
That useless association should tell us if 6 lawmakers are more than 19 lawmakers.

How fayose passed the budget of the state with 6 pdp lawmakers is very legal, and teargassing and chasing out 19 APC lawmakers out of the state assembly is the legal thing to do.

The evil that men support when it serves their primordial interest can be shocking ! .

This call was made by an Abuja based group, the Society for Rule of Law in Nigeria (SRLN) in a statement issued on Thursday and signed by its National Coordinator, Dr Chima Ubeku.
Not too surprised though, it is a chima making such call, the irony is that the said association claims to promote rule of law

In a state with 1.7 million pvcs collected , (1.35 /1.7) *100 = 79.4%, considering that election did not hold in some parts of the state 79.4% accredited voters is surely inflated.

underage voting is usually negligible, but very sensational. because it is easily visible.

None of those states had more than 64% voters turn out, you might need to review your exaggerated figures in bold.
not true, percentage I av stated is DAT of number of voters divided by PVC collected. do your calculation and tell me I am right

There is a lot hidden in the display of that Prof,. methinks he shyed away from reading those fraudulent figures from rivers state.

he even confessed to have written it under "special conditions"
PoliticsRe: PDP Governors Vow To Maintain Lead Across The Nation by emiye(m): 3:16am On Apr 02, 2015
”Akpabio said the governors were impressed because Jonathan did what no African leader had ever done. He said it was commendable that despite the flawed nature of the election, the President said he remained committed to ensuring peace and stability of the country.
Akpabio should shut up, PDP was the one that really rigged the election, just that their rigging numbers were not enough to do the magic. Delta, Eivers and Akwaibom are case studies.

All other states had avg of 40-50% of PVC holders turn out to vote, the above states had fraudulent 70-82% voters turnout.

Can he explain delta state with 1.6 million Pvcs, and 1.2million came out to vote gej or even his state with 1.4 million pvc holders, and 1 million came out to vote gej, or rivers 1.4 million ghost voters. If they had succeded with their plans, it would be another story.

Nuzo1:
Hope you read my post well?

How could you label Ekiti backward before Osun? Are you doing so cos they voted PDP over APC?

Look, I'm not here to discuss how much of a tout Fayose is, I'm just trying point out what it takes to build a large political following.
I agreed with you that he is never, and can never be in the same clout of Tinubu, he is overrated in is backward Ekiti.

Yes, Ekiti is way more backward than Osun, no apologies, it is the reality, irrespective of whom voted for who. Ekiti is the most backward SW state.
Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Kumuyi: Election Will Be Free, Fair And Widely Accepted by emiye(m): 10:37pm On Apr 01, 2015
Lawprince:
I absolutely disagree that the election was free, fair and devoid of rigging. In fact the largest rigging came from the Rivers State where he made the so called prophecy.
Nigerians were only lucky that the votes of people were more magnanimous than the PDP rigging.
Offcourse PDP Rigging machinery was in full force, and the biggest frauds were in Rivers and \Delta, in fact in delta with 1.6 million PVCs collected, PDP claimed 1.3 million people came out to vote grin grin grin, and awarded 1.2 million + to GEJ, Akwa ibom was not much different
PoliticsRe: Mimiko, Fayose, Others Absent At PDP Govs Meeting With Jonathan by emiye(m): 10:26pm On Apr 01, 2015
Nuzo1:
Fayose can't get to that level, he's not a tactician like Tinubu. He's a rebel and a renegade who speaks his mind as it comes to his mind. He is also not a manipulator.

Fayose will stay in his little Ekiti and give fire to GMB's government.
Exactly, he is just a tout that is optimal in an atmosphere of impunity, a brutal dictator. He is not sound enough to command respect in enlightened environment. Shamefully, Ekiti is still the most backward south west state.
PoliticsRe: Next Senate President by emiye(m): 10:03pm On Apr 01, 2015
For an election that was adjudged by bookmakers can go eitherway, a brief moment of thought should have made ibos at the very worst retain the only APC ibo senator.

It was a miscalculation for the east to have voted out Ngige, i mean they ought to have gambled with him at the very least, sad.

The House of representatives should produce at least one APC member from the east, Imo i presume. whosoever becomes the speaker.

pdp is DEAD. unless ameachi and rochas fall out with tinubu, i dont see any solid opposition in this country. Tinubu is the only politician who repeatedly refused to be an attache to the wining team
It will be a shame. !

As to those comparing Awolowo to Tinubu, both sides have a point, but we must remember, when great people are demised, their value tends to increase, Awolowo was also maligned and hated by some segments of Yorubas during his era, and they even conspired against him, he also acquired a lot wealth more than his contemporaries like the Balewas, Azikwes, e.t.c

I never really took to ojuyobo (i see that name from his first tenure as gov has been dropped wink ) but I cant discountenance his politically astuteness. The man has foresight and understands politics inside out.

Tinubu will never have the impact awo had and still has on Yoruba people as awo's impact transcends politics but Nigerian politics will never forget him. He knew the power of political compromise. An attribute awo terribly lacked.

My only problem with gmb's victory is that opposition politics is dead in Nigeria. Those gifted in it have been pushed to the centre.
This actually scares me, i hope there will be very little carpeT crossing to APC. PDP MUST survive as an opposition party that can bark and bite.

pls yorubas in the house what does jagaban mean
It is actually a royal Title from a Kingdom of Borgu bestowed on him . Borgu is located in Niger State.

Jargaban Borgu ! Much respect, anyone with vision and not shortsighted will understand the great impact you have made in Nigerias political waters, it is really hard and less attractive playing opposition in any African nation, but you stood in the gap, salvaging a factionalised AD in to just one state governor in 2007 under AC, and then expanding gradually, recovering stolen mandates across sw states and ss, in to what we have now.

25% of 2/3 of 36 = 25% of states votes in 24 states. Learn to read. PDP has 21 and APC has 17. PDP needs 3, and APC needs 7. And how many states so we have left ?
So a party that won in 21 states , has not achieved at least 25% in the 21 states it won. ? grin How dumb of you., there cant be a dumb billionaire anywhere in the world.

Billyonaire:
GEJ is winning this election or there will be a re-run. At the moment, I do not see Buhari getting 25% votes from 24 states. And Jonathan already has 21 states with 25%, we need just 3 states to call it uhuru with the 25% permutation. Although, we are lagging behind in almost 500,000 votes. Lets hope APC dont garner millions more votes from their heartland. This is a battle we never expected. JEGA sent PVC to North and starved GEJ's strong points of PVC.

We expect miracles but we prefer magic. Luck is NOT enough right now.

But should Buhari win, please they should generate Federal Allocation from Groundnut and Cocoa.
You are sleeping on a mountain cliff.

The scores is 21(APC) VS 15(PDP) + FCT

Even if PDP declares 100% of votes in the 3 states outstanding Edo, delta and Taraba That it would win, it is an overall loss for PDP.
