In as much as I wud agree that Fayose can step out of line most time in his actions and words, I think this APC pple are jst a bunch of ambitious pple.
It is nw a tradition in Nig that once a particular party has d majority in d house d nxt ting u hear is impeachment against d leadership.
This pple never had any intention to work with Fayose even if Fayose ws a saint or licked their boots cos as soon as he was sworn in d first frustration was their refusal to approve the budget withou a reasonable excuse even as Fayose cut down d budget compared to wat his predecessor had. Simply cos he won d APC governor. Next thing was to abandon their duty under d pretext that Fayose chased them out of Ekiti.
Its a good thing Goodluck didn't win cos wit APC nw controlling d National Assembly their first sitting wud hv been to impeach him and his vice so their Senate president can be president
Party and personal interest of National intterest.
APC preaches change. I am waiting cos they been ruling some states and I dnt see those states transforming into Dubai.
Aregbesola owed workers for months after he won election for his second term...I dnt need to list.
We jst hope this isn't another poilitical phantasmagoria.
Meaningless epistle !.

The moment he used 7 PDP law makers to suspend 19 APC lawmakers , and then proceeded to use policemen and thugs to chase the APC lawmakers out of the state of assembly complex and eventually the state, his impeachment is 100% deserved. The way some people defend evil and try to justify it must surprise satan sef angry

BERNIMOORE:
if Jonathan had sack jega that he appointed, that is the only way he could have won, but for Jonathan to allow his enemy mega opportunity to nail him, he can't win.
This is not about an imaginary enemy, it is some idiiots underestimating the contribution of the SW, and i am saying if the pdp had won with over 70% of votes in sw, it would have been victory for GEJ.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Could Have Won Popular Vote Without SW-Allies by emiye(m): 9:33am On Apr 09, 2015
Very dumb understanding of situation. If GEJ had won 70% of SW, and all other things being equal , he would have been reelected.
PoliticsRe: AIT Showing Election Irregularities In Rivers State by emiye(m): 12:35am On Apr 09, 2015
I will be laughing my ass out 2015-2019, When Rivers state vote in wike.

Wike is a worst entity, brutal and thuggish than Fayose, it is more laughable that Rivers state folks are suppose to be way more enlightened than ekiti state people.

Wike for Governor, my instincts rarely fail me grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

My guy, I read every comments with respect to this subject. I am not surprised but feel so bad that the APC cannot at least embrace any form of civility and democratic tenet in a period when they are the ruling government-elect. The party is vindictive and cult-like. It is the complete opposite of what a society wish for itself. Let me be clear that those clowns trying to impeach Ayo are destined to fail
Go sit down for gutter joor, what civility is displayed by pdp state governor using thugs and federal police to chase away lawmakers from the house of assembly, and in using 7 law makers to suspend 19 others .
PoliticsRe: Impeachment: Deputy Gov, Others Block Ekiti Assembly Entrances by emiye(m): 6:24pm On Apr 07, 2015
drtwist:
APC is kinda funny. Ok if u impeached Fayose is it not a PDP member that will still b the governor( his deputy). Expect most of this lawmaker to lose their seat on friday putting an end to this impeachment story.
They are not dumb, impeachment notice was served on both the governor and deputy governor, if it sees the light of the day, the speaker becomes acting governor. Adamawa PDP did similar thing with the house of assembly.
PoliticsRe: How I Was Almost Mobbed Today In Ado Ekiti by emiye(m): 6:05pm On Apr 07, 2015

PoliticsRe: A Plea For Peace Between The Igbo & Yoruba by emiye(m): 5:40pm On Apr 07, 2015
op, you have done good, your insight is deep.

The Obas outburst was a pent up emotion, that goes way beyond the election issue, i wrote it earlier yesterday, that i had expected a response from him way earlier than now, cox, everytime someone says Lagos is no mans land, it is a SLAP on his face, a spat on his traditional stool.

For those who call it mere taunting, they have refused to learn from history, mere taunting was one of the major reasons for the progroms against ibos in the north in 1966. If you are Ibos outside your homeland, Live and let live, remember, Respect is better when it is mutual.

safarigirl:
my friend shut your trap.

Are you originally a Lagosian? An Igbo man has as much rights in Lagos as an Ekiti man or a Ogun man. The biggest noisemakers in Lagos are the non-Lagosians.

Stop threatening fire and brimstone, you can do nothing. Every tribe resides in Abuja, they all contest for seats here, most land owners are non-indigenes as well and I don't see Gbagyi people bytchin' about it, but Yorubas always have to make noise even in minute things
Will you stop writing nonsense, what do you know ?. Na me you dey shut up, in less than 5 seconds, i will break you in to two. grin grin grin grin

If you can read and comprehend, i said i have absolute no problem with other tribes holding political positions, but i have a problem with such people seeing it as domination, What the Oba said is wrong, but i cant entirely fault him, when a particular tribe has continued to say inanities like Lagos is no mans land, his sensibilities will definitely be hurt, it is a desecration of his stool. Lagos is a Yorubaland, and even some past governors do not necessarily have ancestral origin to Lagos state, but they are all descedants of Oduduwa. Let it stick on your head grin.
CelebritiesRe: Kunle Afolayan Blasts Igbos - Blames Them For Piracy. (screengrabs Included). by emiye(m): 11:50pm On Apr 06, 2015
The pent up emotions of people being pushed to the wall and reaching the "enough is enough phase is really close". Let no one make mistake, if the ibos will not shape up, they will suffer a backlash in Lagos soonest. Someone close to me switched from initially planning to vote Agbaje to Ambode after hearing of the brouhaha from the Oba today, and gaining insight in to what the avg. ibo man sees as to supporting PDP.

How will it feel in the ears of Obi of Onitsha, if many yorubas living in the town start to make statements like Onitsha is no ones land.?

Live and let live. Yorubas are typically liberal, but must never be underestimated, more and more SW lagosians are seeing through the mind of an average Ibo lagosian. Why an average yorubaman sees a ibo man occupying political position within lag as no biggie, the conventional ibo man sees it as a domination or conquest.

The Oba was pushed to the wall with the "no mans land" comment, it is a desecration of his stool, and i feel his reaction is even belated.

I see conflict ahead ........

chika4realike:
I am a student of a state university I am in my third year now.
My first and second year grade were very low not that I don't study but I always seem to forget what I studied during exams.
When my first year result was out it was far below my expectations because I really took my time studying so as to make good grade but it was not so
I prayed about this.
Again in my second year same thing happened I don't know if its the way I study
I even get mocked by my friends whu don't even study as much as I do. I actually get depressed and sometime think of committing SUICIDE.
Sometimes I will leave my place of residence for the library for almost 6-8 hrs just for good grade but it will turnout the opposite.
I am in my third year and with exams fast approaching I will not like what has happened in the past happen again
Please I will like u to suggest ways IN WHICH I can read as well as retain as well as recall during exam
1. Reduce your reading time from 6-8 hours to 2-3 hrs active reading daily, do not miss out anyday.

2. Develop a reading plan for your courses , and allocate time according to weight/course units. e.g chm 101 5-7am(mondays) chm 102 (6-7am tuesdays) e.t.c

3. after reading a topic , develop questions on your own, and get a reading note where you answer it

4. Get lots and lots and lots of dept exam past questions for your courses and ensure you solve questions relating to topics you have read in your reading note.

5. Ask questions /academic help from the brilliant chaps you have identified in your class.

Wizdray:
I was left in tears when I read Presidents Goodluck's congratulatory message to Gen. Buhari. I was not crying because i felt like crying, i was not crying cause i supported him and he lost, but I cried cause his words arrested my emotions. He wished his opponent a good administration ahead, he congratulated him and accepted defeat. I could remember by this time in 2011, Buhari never accepted that he lost, he promised Jonathan that he will make his administration ungovernable for him and he later fulfilled his promise. His supporters took to the streets and slaughtered innocent Nigerians but he never stopped the killings. But today, he has won that same man that defeated him in 2011 but got a congratulatory message instead of threats. He has wished him success and not promising him an ungovernable tenure. Few weeks to the election, the people we call our leaders were busy sending threats to another and leaving the poor masses gripped with fear. Some people left the country with fear of the aftermath of the election. But today you have restored peace by accepting defeat peacefully. Oh! Jonathan, you have shown us that you are a good man. You have shown African leaders the true definition of democracy. You wished not to influence the elections with your powers, you wished not to cancel the election when you can do it and nothing will happen. Posterity will never forget you where ever you go. I am still your fan for life. You are a good and gentleman but surrounded by ingrates and fools that care for their pockets alone. Only God knows what our nation would be now if u didn't loose the Election... Thank you for having more value in the life's of Nigerians than the presidential seat...Oh Jona! You lost the election but won my heart.... He is indeed my hero
Abeg stop all this unnecessary hype, it is now becoming irritating. the consequences of subverting the will of the people was not hidden, the international community will not have supported him, and he would have been ousted shamefully dead or alive in a very short time.

Pre election, there are at least 6 opposition states, where GEJ governments made serious and despotic attempts to crush the sitting government and take over. Adamawa, nassarawa, rivers, edo, ekiti, osun. It succeeded with two, and almost crush the others.

Election period, it was tales of result sheet filling in Rivers, Akwa ibom, Delta and Crossrivers,.........., but unfortunately for him those magic numbers were not enough to do his billing

Wike is a worse version of Fayose. He is at best to be used as a political tout and underground job, but for Rivers people to now make such an individual a governor, i will so laugh them. I understand Ekiti state is still underexposed to elect a Fayose, but, what i will struggle to understand is how a supposedly enlightened Rivers state will elect a Wike as GOVERNOR shocked shocked shocked
