Talking about salary ,courtesy of the review of workers salary to the 18,000 naira minimum wage, and other new recruits. the new salary bill of the state is now 4.6 billion naira monthly as against 2 billion + naira of the previous administration(2007-2011), yet allocation from the FG is dwindling to the state(avg of 4 billion/month). Akala could not pay the previous minimum wage , i think 11,500 or thereabout. Let this discourse be objective as possible. |
But why play evil politics? Why bomb a school to achieve evil ambition ? |
kolamilan: hahaha makes me laugh reading your idiotic comment. It seems you are a one way thinker, i forgive you for your shallow comment |
Funny enough, Germany will not win this world cup. The winner of Argentina vs netherlands owns the brazil 2014 world cup. |
Ego clash ! What is the global best practice? |
joywendy: okay, e5 black.Nf3 |
lets play , e4 on white . |
Costa rican team has proven his earlier great performances were not fluke |
I think OP is wallowing in foolery, he thinks he knows but he is ignorant. I absolutely have no problem if you disagree with a policy, but ensure you truly understand the policy you disagree with. It is high worth foolishness to be punching any politician in sight just to feel cool like a newly discovered activist. In an election period, you claimed you read in a newspaper about a scam by the osun state in the education sector , but you did not deem it fit to take the view of the other side before attacking senselessly, you had the opportunity on your laps to get the other side view, but you blew it up acting immature, in my opinion the other guys did not attack you by saying you made shallow and myopic comments, he was right. Critical reasoning is what i think you lack the most. |
Reports has it that the dead soldier was riding a motor bike on BRT lane , only to be crushed by brt bus ![]() |
HNosegbe: Honestly I'm very disappointed in Adams Oshiomhole. He has shown, with this action, that Nigerian politicians are all the same. Utterly lacking in principle and not standing for anything. It's all about power as far as they're concerned. You shouldn't really be disappointed, He had no choice than to play the survival game , he was not selected but elected, and dont be surprised that parents with children in public schools will be convinced by evil politicians how the governor is a wicked man for sacking incompetent teachers. The Stockholm syndrome plaguing the populace persists. |
HNosegbe: Very disappointing.A big shame. I guess Lagbaja was not wrong calling us Mumugerians. We all want positive change, thinking it will come via mystic forces . SMH. Renowned Chike obi recommended a benevolent dictator as the best for Nigeria, he is probably right |
Good analysis on super sport does not necessarily translate to good national coach. It might be a good gamble sha, i learnt he is also an UEFA certified coach |
Evergreen123: if osun has really increased their igr and not on paper , y is the governor complaining?Judging from what you have written up here, it is waste of time trying to educate you |
Evergreen123: so, u see its not only him.It is simple common sense, apart from Lagos state , all other states Igr are a fraction of the allocation, and sensible governors have increased the fractions, which i think the state govnr in osun has done. In your logic, why should Bayelsa state with a budget 70% that of Lagos state be complaining of paucity of funds and dwindling allocation, even with less than 3 million population? |
Evergreen123: is his state the only one whose allocation was reduced? which kyn sympathy talk be that?I have seen other state governors complained, some weeks ago, Bayelsa state governor had a meeting with bayelsa indigenes out of the country sponsored for foreign degrees as the state has failed to service the students with maintenance dues, and many are stranded, and the complaint of the governor was dwindling allocation. For over 8 months, primary school teachers are on strike in Benue state e.t.c But many in their bigoted mind only see what they want to see. |
bumdish: You spoilt your analysis by discrediting Keshi, a man that has achieved what no Nigerian and indeed no African, dead or alive has ever achieved. You forgot to add that he was the first African coach to take his team to the second round at the world cup. |
alj harem: LOL I don't even know what to say.Unsubstantied bullshitt, conjectures, illogical sentiments, half truths. I dont operate like that. sorry, i dont. If someone comes to me and tell me you are a mad man, even if i dont like your face, i wont agree, until i put such assertion to test |
Evergreen123: If not that PDP won ekiti, would aregbe clear the salary arrears of 4 months within one week?stop believing every nonsense you are told. Tinubu during his tenure was not a failure especially when you put him in comparism with his contemporaries within those period from PDP. I was in lagos during his tenure(99-07) and i can still recall psp in waste management, millennium schools, power generation thru enron power plant, road rehabilitation and construction e.t.c even BRT in transportation was a concept at the tail end of his tenure, he did this while under political attacks from the PDP centre to frustrate him in other to capture Lagos by do or die. Some months ago, i read that the Osun state governor stated that allocation to his states has fallen by roughly 40% compared to expectation, such kind of situation surely will affect the state, and will not augur well for projections for the state development agenda. The question is why are states allocation dwindling? I guess the FG incompetency since the rate of crude oil theft is at alarming proportion . Stop believing lies about APC plunging their states to debts, try to substantiate it with facts and figures. When SW governors commissions overhead bridges, roads, schools e.t.c and such is reported on nairaland via a thread, you can guess the region of origin of those that will populate such threads with unsavory remarks. Such attitudes depicts envy. |
Evergreen123: Is that why he lied that other regions envy these places?Envy is a thing of the mind, and people with such mind display it to those on the same strata with them, those above them and those below them. The intent of the writer was clear, the PDP wants to decimate APC by any conceivable means, and if they can soil Tinubu's image in the eyes of his people, they believe they would be a step closer to achieving their evil aim. The PDP was in charge of most sw states for virtually 8 years (2003-2011), and contributed in no small means to the rot you will find in these states, now some of these bufoons and thugs are staging come back under PDP. Any sane mind will ask, how well have the ACN/APC governors done in 3-4 years? Were they a positive departure to their PDP counterparts within the same time frame? |
Evergreen123: I stopped reading when this man said an easterner visited osun and proclaimed.......You said non Lagos SW is not developing,. Were you in Abeokuta or Osogbo Or Ekiti pre ACN Government (that should be before late 2010)? Always put your emotions to test. Emotions and sentiments fails more often than not. |
When lies are repeated over and over again, they start sounding like truth to many, except a few who care to challenge it. So many unsubstantiated and frivolous statements against a man who dare to stand as a face of opposition. Use your brain people, and understand the motive for the deluge of attack. |
oluamid: Hmmmmm. I'm sorry, my own definition of love for the masses has to do with actually doing something tangible and lasting for the masses and not just scratching at the surface. You know, building good roads, schools, providing them with other social amenities and ensuring that they no longer require rice to be dole out to them before they feed.Well said, but the problem with the masses is that a sizable proportion are suffering from stockholm syndrome, they are terribly gullible, and many people also follow or love parties as if they are supporting a football club. Until many stop supporting parties as if they are supporting Arsenal or Man U, and decide to put to test how well the candidates of the parties have brought real dividends of democracy, the vicious cycle of underdevelopment continues. Political gimmick or stunts like eating booli on the road , and riding on okada should not be taken seriously by the populace. |
It is high time, Government focused on the primary and secondary school education, and divert great funds spent on tertiary education on the primary and secondary education. Tuition fees in tertiary institutions be increased to meet up the required funding. I have no doubt that the critical point of influence is the primary education followed by the secondary education. Once the nation gets it right there, the result will be obvious in the quality of the citizenry. |
The usual stunts that some of my people call good governance SMH. we will get there one day ![]() |
I still dont understand why osaze refused to fall in france box 18 @ the first half, we had a clear penalty. |
petrus4good: |
I have observed everything for these PDP shenagians is about winning elections, when it is clear that the present is way better than the past. Ajimobi became a governor May 29, 2011, and he has been working within that axis, something the others didnt do, but these invalids want the state to be governed again by ruffians. Are you cursed? |
frankben: we shall meet brazil in a game that has "final" as part of it's namek |
frankben: .... Now i understand... Maybe the prophet was trying to say "semi final"Stop defending a prophet, who is most likely expressing is wish |

frankben: ok... If we win today, we meet either of germany and algeria. If we win. We meet either netherland or costa rica, . You get thatNo, we are within the winner of brazil vs Colombia for Semis route |
