bboiabb: Please Moderator close this thread. We have total idiots talking. Pls watch the video again...if you have a functioning brain you will see that enyeama couldn't see the ball...why will he dive if he cant see the ball in the first placehuh People like you annoy me.
I think the guy you quoted is a conspiracy theorist per excellence.

I assume he sees white men chasing him in his dream, in his theory, all the problem of black men and african countries is caused by these white men. SMH.

@ OP, In 1998, Peter rufai could barely make any effort against the spanish freekick, Nigeria won the match 3-2

He pushed his country to the semis at the 2010 world cup via a last second on the goal line ball stoppage with his hand.

His country also scored a second round qualification goal seconds after ruffling the italian backline with his biting incident.

Why wont he be a hero?

PoliticsRe: Election Tricks:Omisore Copies Fayose by emiye(m): 9:21am On Jun 28, 2014
It is really painful that PDP is still the best fit for the mentality of most Nigerian voters.

I wont be surprised if he is called a grassroot politician and a man of the people for riding on a bike.

I hope we will get there one day, cry cry
PoliticsRe: Politics In Nigeria: Why Reform Is So Hard In Ekiti State By The Economist by emiye(m): 8:53am On Jun 28, 2014
Chamack: If Fayemi is reforming and teachers, students and workers are complaining, that means the reform has a zero impact on the people he is governing. Using Fayemi and Andre Villa Boas as a case study, both were managers of men trying to change things overnight and the end of the day they lost out. Change is a gradual process. Fqyemi should have introduced his reform one after the other, that's what a good manager does. In the case of AVB he came to Chelsea introduced his own reform by sidling all the senior players and the end of the day they ganged up against him. In essence your reform should be people oriented.
And what made you feel at the instance of a reform, everyone will start smiling ? Teachers who barely come to class to teach students or teachers who can not achieve minimum credit in wassce for subjects they teach students CAN NOT smile at a governor who calls for teachers assessment test in a bid to understand the rootcause ofpersistent failure of students in external exams even after school infrastructure upgrade Reforms come with initial pain for a greater gain. I agree with you that the reform should have been a gradual process, and i alluded to that fact in my write up,especially in a very conservative state like Ekiti state.

The victory of Fayose was a protest vote against the governor, it was a victory for status quo.
PoliticsRe: Politics In Nigeria: Why Reform Is So Hard In Ekiti State By The Economist by emiye(m): 7:58am On Jun 28, 2014
The article was spot on. Fayemi's reform led to him stepping on too many toes ranging from teachers, to students, local govt workers, judiciary workers, unemployed/unemployable youths. In the last 3 years + ,I have observed all the 6 SW governors based on their quality of governance, and i can say Fayemi is the best administrator Of the six SW governors , but he was also the worst politician.

Fayemi's reform challenged the status quo too much that unsettled a lot, and gave Fayose a rabble rouser a blank political cheque, he simply harnessed the disgruntled elements and he won all across. Fayemi fought too many wars at the same time, when he should have left some till his second term, i am forced to wonder hw well he utilised his Phd in war studies.

PDP typically knows how to conserve the status quo, the business as usual which an average nigerian wants while nursing hope that the change will come maybe by a mystic force. Fayose will now eat booli and roasted corn on the street with them, he will ride okada on the streets, he will play football with them on the street, eventhough he will retire to his gubernatorial palace at the end of the day and a typical stocholm syndrome ravaged nigerian will be so happy, "suffering and smiling". off course he will fix a few roads which might be shoddy quality, install boreholes rather than build water plants and lay water pipeline to homes, it will be mediocre fix galore, he will not unruffle civil servants by plugging corruption loopholes, in order to build more political capital, he will dole out physical cash from the peoples treasury to a few , and thus, he will be praised to high heavens about how he is a lover of the common man. Now the PDP at the centre who shamefully , purposely and shockingly refuse to execute any capital projects in ekiti state will try to kickstart FG projects.

Well there is one thing you cant fault Fayemi for, his sincerity for the good of his people with an holistic approach.
SportsRe: Where Is Jiggaman, Oxygen And Other Ghanians On NL? by emiye(m): 12:38am On Jun 28, 2014
Jigga_man101: Another intelligent Nigerian. Why do you allow some of these fools to represent your country.

You can tell the turmoil in the camp affected their game.

I disagree about Nigeria making it to the semis. Maybe in the near future but I don't see it in this tournament.
Bookmark this: We will beat France in the 2nd round, and then bring germany or algeria for my super eagles in the quarters, we are more than capable.
SportsRe: Where Is Jiggaman, Oxygen And Other Ghanians On NL? by emiye(m): 12:23am On Jun 28, 2014
I think Ghanians played well, at least in their first 2 matches, in yesterdays game, they were clearly low in morale, as at the moment the game was 1-1, i kept faith in them because i knew if they scored one more and made it 2-1, they would have qualified, but the ghanian keeper shockingly made a blunder that should not be seen with an under 17 keeper, and the rest was history.

Nigeria will be the first african team to make the semis at the world cup.

django1: He is confusing the first goal with the second one.
i thought as much. The first goal was a dazzling run by babatunde and a well laid and well timed pass to musa

moshudinho: u need to c dat game again bros, he was holding on to the ball, nt ready to pass if not for the foul committed on him by that player, i think gago or mascherano, that was how d ball rolled to musa, nt that he played a pass.. He left musa with lot of work to do there bt i was really surprised at musa's composure in front of goal, going by his profligacy wen playing for SE
You are on your own if you said Babatunde did not pass to Musa, maybe you were dozing when the match started undecided undecided

It was operation show your voters card and collect bag of rice. 30,000 bags of rice distributed by PDP no be small thing. oooooo in a state like Ekiti state. Fayose kept on promising evertyhing, but my fear is that he will ***appoint many.

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs France World Cup (0 - 2) On 30th June 2014 by emiye(m): 10:44pm On Jun 27, 2014
Fulaman198: So what you are saying is you use one match where France wasn't being serious to judge their performance. Do you forget what they did to Switzerland and Honduras?
France played against 10 men in two out of their three group games.

Against Honduras, they only started scoring when honduras was down to 10 men in the first half, also against ecuador who played with 10 men for over 40 minutes, france could not find the back of the net.

France is a more favourable opponent for Nigeria than switzerland, not because switzerland is a better team than france, but beause France system of play will give us more space to operate and play our game than switzerland will give us.

mikeansy: Onazi did not have a good game against argentina, he committed too many free kicks in vital areas, him and Oshaniwa

Musa was our best players, he scored 2 very good goals. Emenike and Osaze also played very well

Goals win matches and very vital. Hence Musa was good
You are right, and by the way, the two goals musa scored were nt clear cut chances, but they were half chances, his finishings were superb.
SportsRe: Has Michael Babatunde Justified His Inclusion In Nigeria's Squad? by emiye(m): 9:16pm On Jun 27, 2014
Odenigbo Aroli: Wow,bravo; You see,Nigerians are so emotionally blind. The guy showed little flashes and now he is their hero....lmao. The guy is heavy and has no finesse to his game. He is trying too hard to impress because he doesn't have the confidence.
Secondly, some say Musa is man of the match and I say for what, because he scored two goals. I don't think a lot of Nigerians are very smart. Check the work rate of Emenike,Osaze and Onazi.
Stop bigotry, Babatunde's runs in the counter attack and wonderful pass to musa led to our first goal against argentina.

He is an average player but with two more important qualities, team work and high work rate.
PoliticsRe: Lagos/ibadan Express Way , Rehabilitation & Expansion (Pictures) by emiye(m): 12:34am On Jan 10, 2014
At the current pace of construction on that road, it will take nothing less than 20 years for the job to be completed. (i am not exaggerating).

. RCC which was awarded over 80 km + of the road has been working on the extra lanes (2 lanes) on less than 5km for the past 6 months now, when we factor in the exixting 4 lanes that will be excavated and new asphalt to be layed, you begin to have a glimpse of how long it will take RCC to complete 6lanes on a 5km road.
We all know the danger of snail pace road contract, it is a dejavu with lots of federal highway contracts, after a while contract will be revoked and reawarded with massive increase in contract sum.
i still insist that what is going on at the moment on that road is a face saving 2nd term campaign strategy.
PoliticsRe: My Stand On Who APC Should Field For The Presidency/VP - Femi Fani-kayode by emiye(m): 10:49pm On Jan 06, 2014
Italiano1: I love Pat Utomi but such an arrangement can only work if he is given a defined responsibility. There is a difference between Politics and Economics, especially in Nigeria.

Utomi is a good economist but does he have the aptitude for dirty politics in Nigeria? I dont think so.
Pat Utomi is a trade off , if APC wants to avoid a muslim/muslim ticket mudslinging. Pat Utomi is seen as a technocrat, with virtually no stained past record, popular in Lagos, which holds 40% of the SW votes, a Delta-Igbo, ...... . Yes, Utomi is not a "politician", but he will only be a running mate.

i dont know your context of defined responsibility, is it pre election or post election? If it is post election, V.P are as useful as their defined responsibility

Tambuwal is barely heavy weight. On Utomi both aspirations all stand as projections

I understand there would some tiny dots of missing links OP would have left out in the summary of her disagreements with her supposed fiancee., those tiny dots when left out in her side of the story/ history sometimes distorts the message, and leads to wrong advice.

I kind of agree with dinachi's looking out of the box approach, but OP must tread with caution, it will take a miracle to save the situation and for the OP to get her feminine pride and respect back from the supposed fiancee and his family if things returns to initial status quo.

I dont also think the Op's supposed fiancee is as matured as she would want us to believe.

My only question to the op is what PARTICULAR trait or habit do you have that your supposed fiancee has consistently complained about or show GREAT displeasure in the 2 years of the relationship ?

I will continue to say, no human being deserves to stay in those train for 40 hours plus, the health hazards are catastrophic. Government should focus on using those trains to transfer cargoes. That remains the only good news the locomotive train revitalisation can bring.

just seeing this, apart from espn, all other european football analysis i encountered tipped bosnia ahead nigeria, except the americans who seemed to have a higher opinion of us. I do not share the opinion in the link below btw.

Award well deserved.

Sometimes, i shiver at the thought of a one party state in Nigeria, We could have been a one party state if not for tinubu.

At a point in Nigeria, PDP was controlling 31 out of 36 states. undecided undecided , if they were not nipped in the bud, nothing will stop the powers in charge to sooner or later proscribed all other political parties. This evil trend happen over and over in Africa's political history, and we wonder why there is so much underdevelopment.

which creative theory made Kwara a tribe ?

Kwara state was one of the 12 states in 1967, and parts of the old kwara state are now in benue, niger, kogi

PoliticsRe: Will Or Can The Yorubas Ever Reclaim The Ilorin Throne? by emiye(m): 4:20pm On Dec 29, 2013
Traditional titles in nigeria are ceremonial ! What is the fuss about an emir with virtually no political might. ?

Geopolitical classification placed kwara as North central. Are all Igbos in the SE zone? Are some not in other geopolitical zones.

if we are to follow the warped logic that an emir in ilorin, means the fulani now owns ilorin/ kwara, then oba of benin also means, yoruba owns benin /edo.

Ilorin is with over 90% yorubas, Kwara state is made up of over 70% yorubas,

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.

PoliticsRe: For Those Who Claim Sudan As An Example For Nigeria by emiye(m): 4:59pm On Dec 27, 2013
My study of 52 from 54 african countries shows that 46 countries were plunged in to great violence immediately after independence, majority of such wars lasted for decades. I am not surprised about south sudan's current debacle. Should Nigeria attempt to disintegrate, i am most certain, section(s) will go in to war for reasons like oil, land boundaries, increased religious intolerance

Nigeria is a complex multiethnic state, What it needs is restucturing and not disintegration. a practice of true federalism that will shift attraction from the centre to the states, a unicamera legislature, where the centre should hold on to security, foreign affairs , bank regulations , elections...

How? explain

You called the PDP looters , so no need to canvass for looters.

They loot, because they can easily afford to do that and tell it to our face they will rule for the next 60 years.
