I don't believe all this about the Osufrom Christian sources. I've read from some typical traditional Igbo sources and they speak of Osu as sacred, respected temple attendants
Don't be deceived, the Osu and Ohu caste system is exactly as described. While the osus were believed to have been sacrificed to gods and atimes reflect in the names they bear, the Ohus were slaves that were owned by their masters who bought them. At the death of a master, one or two of his slaves might be chosen  to be buried alive to continue serving him in the great beyond.

Just like the writer said, they suffer discrimination to the extent that despite how rich any of them could be, there are still things he cannot do.

Right now
Ignorance is a big disease. How on earth would a police DPO try to settle a case concerning a foreigner who has maltreated a Nigerian? A foreigner whose Immigration status he is not equipped to determine?
The woman should write a petition to the nearest Immigration Office and get prompt response.
No bloody Arab has the right to torture a Nigerian anywhere in the World let alone on Nigerian soil.

Firstly, for those that said they have not seen anywhere it's written in the scriptures that Christians should tithe, kindly read Malachi 3:8-11
On paying tithe from Gambeling, I must confess that Christians have given different interpretations to "tithe" contrary to the first fruit of harvest as the scriptures say. Having said that, I doubt if there is any person whom gambling is his //her profession since the tithe I know is 10% of one's legitimate earnings. Politics › Re: Gunmen Storm Lagos Press, Confiscate Book On Jonathan by Emmahunk(m): 2:42pm On Feb 08, 2015
viczing:
Like actions in Ho abundance od blockbusters, gunmen, which number could not be easily ascertained, on Friday morning raided a printing press in Shomolu area of Lagos State, carting away copies of a book on the administration of. President Goodluck Jonathan.

Our correspondent gathered that the gunmen harassed the printers and took away copies of the book, entitled Two-Faced Jonathan: 100 Reasons Why Jonathan Must Go, authored by Blessing Agbomhere.

Workers in the printing press who were too  frightened, could not ask questions or confront the gun-wielding men suspected to be security operatives.

Speaking to journalists on the development, Agbomhere said the book was scheduled for launch at the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat in Lagos, before the incident.

Agbomhere, who is also the initiator of Change Ambassador of Nigeria (CAN), said, “This book was being printed in Shomolu and I was told that the book that was to be launched today (Saturday) was taken away after someone within the printing press, who has sympathy for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), alerted security operatives about it.

“They came and confiscated all the printed copies of the book.  They came in mufti.

“We don’t know the arm of security agency that they belong to, or whether they are private individuals or not.

“The printers had to immediately release the books to them, because, they were heavily armed. I am not owing them. I have already paid them.”

Agbomhere added that the book mirrors Jonathan as a “President of the cabal, Tompolo, Asari-Dokubo and a few other corrupt elements, who are sponsoring Boko Haram to destroy Nigeria’s unity.

“The book says President Jonathan has failed to defend the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and as such should not seek re-election or ask for a job he know he doesn’t have the capacity to do,” he said.

The author dared Jonathan to act on the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) forensic audit report and bring those indicted by the report to book.

Also speaking, Ibilola Essien, a social entrepreneur with Act Now Nigeria, a non-governmental organisation, said the present administration has not done enough to salvage the country from the many problems besieging it.

According to her, poverty and corruption have continued to soar, while insecurity in the North East has claimed over 15,000 lives since 2009.

Dear readers, Its possible for a person to consult a prophet or prophetess in wife making decision. and what are the implications?
Besides Adam whom God gave a wife, 'Eve, God has given man the Mandate to search for a woman that will be his wife.
Prophets /prophetesses are supposed to pass on revelations given to them by God. It therefore follows that if God had the intention of revealing wives through Prophets ( by the way, there are many fake ones) then he( God ) wouldn't have told men " he who FINDS a wife, FINDS a good thing and obtaineth favor from God.

http://newswirengr.com/2015/02/04/uae-introduces-strict-visa-age-restriction-for-nigerians-travelling-to-dubai/
This Development has necessitated my writing this brief piece :
MAJOR REASONS EMBASSIES REFUSE APPLICANTS VISA
Most often people believe that visas are issued to applicants based on the mood of the Consular officers hence the erroneous belief that luck plays a major role in procuring a visa.
Issuance /rejection (application received) all over the World follow the same standard procedure which include ;
A) Passport Validity ; No embassy the world over will grant visa to a passport with less than six months validity
B) Live account ; Embassies are more interested in establishing the fact that the bank statements submitted by you is an account that money has been going in and out from over time more than in how much millions you have in the account
C) Reservation : Where you have to make hotel reservations, always try to make the online payments in your name rather than through agents. There are so many easy ways to do this eg visa gold
D) Intended date of departure ( IDOP) ;
Always make allowance for a time frame of about six weeks between your application date and intended date of departure.
E) Duration of Stay;
Except in the case of residence, it is always advisable to fill between ten and twenty-one days as your intended Duration of stay.
F) On your interview date ;
i) arrive the embassy early to avoid panic.
ii) Dress neatly and appear confident while being sure you have answers to basic information about you on your finger tips.
iii) Throughout the cause of interview, always look the Consular officer in the eyes
iv) Arrange your documents neatly and don't panic while sorting out or trying to produce any of them on request.
In whatever you do, remember that the interviewing officer while perusing your documents is making a mental assessment of your sanity and stability.
Good luck

I was like okay fine, I forgive you. But, she wants us to be together AGAIN...

A) show off to her that you are now a bigger boy or
B) because you still feel something for her?
If the later is the reason for your action, then take a chance and marry the woman you love. After all, she did not leave you because you were POOR but your tribe which is not uncommon as someone can have phobia for a particular tribe. Good luck

Segun Adewale, the Lagos West PDP senatorial candidate sighted in person amidst his group of touts, drove past House of Reps member and APC Senatorial candidate Solomon Adeola’s (YAYI) official campaign office on Adeniyi Jones road, Ikeja and fired shots randomly into the office.

This happened Saturday evening.

PDP Senatorial candidate Adewale was personally sighted wearing bulletproof jacket with a belt of bullet cartridges.

We have not received reports of any deaths or injuries from the attack but the building was riddled with bullets and Honorable Adeola’s car parked in the compound was riddled with bullets.

Segun Adewale openly threatened to the public gathered in front of Solomon Adeola’s office that he will shoot and kill anyone seen posting Adeola’s posters.

After a minute of firing shots he drove off.

Two people said they were shot at but the bullets did not pierce them.

Samueldo:
Chadian aircraft on Saturday bombed the Nigerian town of Gamboru in a raid targeting Islamist extremist group Boko Haram, security sources said.

A raid was carried out around midday by two fighter jets on the town in Nigeria’s far northeast along the Cameroon border, sources from Chad and Cameroon said on condition of anonymity.

Boko Haram overran the town several months ago as part of its campaign to seize territory in the region and create an Islamic state.

The Boko Haram uprising has become a regional crisis, with the four directly affected countries — Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Nigeria — agreeing to boost cooperation to contain the threat.

Nigeria’s military said on Thursday that its fighter jets had bombed the northeast town of Malam Fatori, also controlled by Boko Haram.

Witnesses and some media reports said troops and airforce planes from Chad were also involved in that operation on Nigerian soil but Abuja neither confirmed nor denied the claim.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Saturday gave his backing to an African Union proposal to set up a regional five-nation force of 7,500 troops to fight Boko Haram.

ShowYourCertificate:
Is Mat, hematics A Compulsory Requirement To Be Commissioned Into The Military?

I ask this question because Buhari's result have been released to the public and in the result he had an F9 in
Mathematics.

Military Officers are meant to be knowledgeable in quantification of military hardwares and other items. For example, a colonel should know the difference between 4 armoured tanks and 1 fighter jet in terms of weight difference, volume difference, etc. The knowledge of such difference will enable the colonel plan the logistics in the transport of such hardwares from one point to another.

Also mathematical terms such a Bearing, Longitude and Lattitude, Projectiles, Trigonometry, Calculus, Matrices, Lagrange Multiplier, Statistics, etc. are common terminologies used in the military. Someone with an F9 in mathematics will definitely not be able to use such mathematical terminologies with dexterity during military warfare.

So I wonder why someone with an F9 in mathematics should be commissioned into the Military.

Perhaps that isn't Buhari's Result after all. I say this because that result appears to be fake and Buhari hasn't made any statement accepting the result as published by the Principal of his almamater. I hereby call on Buhari to either accept or reject the result as published. If he rejects it, he should do us a favour and show us his certificate (#BuhariShowYourCertificate). But If he accepts it, it means our Military actually enlisted Buhari despite failing Mathematics. If they did, was it the right thing to do?
