Politics › Re: Gov. Oshiomole Orders Investigation Into Death Of Hotel Staff In Police Custody by Emmahunk(m): 10:26am On Mar 19, 2015 |
emusmith: Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomole has ordered a full scale investigation into the death of Chibuike Edeh, a staff of Protea hotel in Benin city, Edo state, who was arrested for stealing N48,000 belonging a guest at the hotel on March 14th.
He later died in police custody. Gov Oshiomole gave the charge while receiving the family members of the young man who staged a protest at the government house yesterday March 18th.
Speaking to the family, Oshiomhole said;"Let me thank you for coming to Government House to lay your complaint in a very peaceful manner in spite of the pains in your heart and the gruesome murder of your son, your brother and our comrade. I read about this yesterday and the impression I was given was that he was handed over to the Police.
Whether or not the young man was a thief, whether or not the money was found on him or he threw it across the wall is not the issue. There is law. There is procedure to be followed to investigate alleged stealing, even alleged murder.
The police can listen to complaint from anyone who has cause to complain or report theft or any crime or suspected crime to the police. The responsibility of the police stops at arresting and investigating a suspect.
They do not have the right to kill, to maim, to brutalize and to murder anybody. That is not acceptable. The responsibility of the police in our constitution is very clear; to protect lives and property and they are law enforcement agencies, they are not to execute people who are suspected of crimes.
They are to arraign suspects in court and ensure that suspects are prosecuted according to our laws. I have received since yesterday various accounts about whether or not this person died in the police custody, whether he died of natural causes or he died as a result of police torture or whether he died in the cause of allegedly trying to escape and he was knocked down by a vehicle.
I will raise these issues with the Commissioner. If somebody runs across the road and a vehicle knocks him down, the vehicle will be apprehended and the driver will be known so it cannot be an unknown vehicle or driver. I do understand that when we talk of police custody, they call it protective custody.
The police are to protect suspects and they are deemed innocent until they are found guilty by a competent court and police cannot constitute itself into a court of law and even if a judge finds a man guilty of murder and sentences him to death, he cannot be executed except the governor approves of the death sentence so the laws are very clear.
However, the issues for us to find out are whether this person died in police custody and if he escaped how he escaped from police custody because he wasn’t reported to be an armed robber.
He was said to be at the very worst, that he stole money from somebody, he was not armed with any offensive weapon and so no one can say he was running and he was shot, so we will find out” Oshiomhole said...
http://lindaikeji..in/2015/03/gov-oshiomole-orders-investigation-into.html Your decisive actions on issues Mr governor will always remind me of your days as Labour chief in the Country. Armed forces and Police brutality must stop in this Country. |

I have read so many trash since I joined Nairaland but none as irritating as this bullshit. Anyway since brainless maggots are given a say in this forum, what can I say! Omooba77: Prof Ango Abdullahi Shot In Bauchi
Vanguard gathered that the former Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, attacked his car as soldiers shot at the car as his driver overtook a military convoy.
Narrating what happened to newsmen in Bauchi yesterday, Professor Abdullahi said he was on his way for an official assignment at Bauchi State University, Gadau, where he is the chairman of the university’s governing council.
“It was in the morning as I was travelling in my official car with my driver. I was going to Gadau for a meeting. We had just passed the Awala Hotel roundabout when I saw a military convoy moving very slowly.
“I was trying to catch up for the meeting, so my driver overtook the military convoy. The next thing I knew they opened fire at us, with bullets were sprayed on the car.
“The bullets damaged the engine of the car, damaged the car that we had to park by the road side. The soldiers came out and were shouting angrily at us.
“They were demanding to know why we wanted to overtake them, asking if we didn’t know that the soldiers were exporting sensitive materials,” he said.
According to him, “they just left us there and continued their movement. I have never seen such a reckless act.
“I called the Commissioner for Higher Education and told him. The Commissioner for Higher Education called the security agencies chiefs to inform them of what happened.

What makes the soldiers think that their mission was more important than the mission of the professor? UPDATED STORY : I got more details on her death from an eyewitness who revealed that the murder was committed by a neighbour, a married man she reportedly got pregnant for.
The guy who also resides in the estate argued with her and threatened her after she said she will tell his wife about the pregnancy she had for him.
The man got angry after she said she will report to his wife and struggle ensued. Moments later, she ran out of the house with scars all over her body, and while running she fell into the gutter.
when she was found by neighbors , She was still breathing so she was rushed to a specialist hospital along Ogudu road then to the General Hospital in Gbagada, but no one would admit her without a police report, that was when she was taken to the police station. it was there she gave up the ghost.
The murder weapon, a bloodied knife, was reportedly seen but later got missing. The suspect is currently being detained at the Area 'f' police station in the estate. http://itsdumebi.com/murdered-silverbird-staff-graphic-photo-of-aisha-mustaphas-body-after-it-was-found/ What a wasted life! |

EdCure: I can’t protect you, Akwa Ibom CP tells PUNCHman
MARCH 17, 2015 : ETIM EKPIMAH, UYO
The Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Gabriel Achong, has said he has no business protecting the PUNCH correspondent in the state, Mr. Etim Ekpimah, from strange people threatening his life.
Achong stated this while speaking with the reporter on the telephone on Monday following a threat message the correspondent forwarded to Achong from one Mr. Martin Akpan who had threatened to use force in collaboration with others he did not name, to get the correspondent out of the state.
The threat message from Akpan, which was sent to former Saturday PUNCH Editor, Mr. Emeka Madunagu, read, “Hi, Etim. One guy, Martin Akpan, called me today to complain about your story in today’s Punch(Sunday). He said they will make you leave Akwa Ibom by force. His number is 08163192421.”
Sunday PUNCH had on March 15, published a story entitled, ‘Akwa Ibom: State where commissioners, others, kneel for Akpabio’s wife.” The story, ex-rayed how the state Commissioner for Works, Mr. Don Etim, knelt to talk to Akpabio’s wife despite that there were vacant seats beside the governor’s wife, during a PDP campaign rally.
The story went further to tell how a member in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, representing Mbo State Constituency, Mrs. Alice Ekpenyong, knelt before the governor’s wife at the Independent National Electoral Commission office, Uyo, where they were being presented with the certificates of return in 2011.
Also a Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Dr. Glory Edet, was recently seen fanning her during the presentation of the 2015 Appropriation Bill to the House of Assembly.
On Monday, however, the correspondent got a bitter dose of the police commissioner’s venom, when Achong pointedly accused the PUNCHman of collecting money from opposition parties to write the story.
He noted that the kneeling down by the commissioner was not the journalist’s business, but rather a sign of respect to the Akwa Ibom State governor’s wife.
The CP said, “You are on your own. I do not have any business protecting you. This is how you people go about causing troubles. You have brought serious embarrassment to the man(Etim) and his family.
“If you want to talk with your madam in your office, do you stand to talk with her? Anybody can kneel down for another as a sign of respect.
“This is none of your business. I do not care about what happens to you. If you have collected money from those who asked you to write the story, why did you not tell them that you cannot write?”
The correspondent had received many calls from strange individuals, threatening to deal with him for bringing the state works commissioner into disrepute. http://www.punchng.com/news/i-cant-protect-you-akwa-ibom-cp-tells-punchman/ THE BASIC DUTY OF THE POLICE IS PROTECTION OF LIVES AND PROPERTY. Politics › Re: Switzerland To Return $380M Looted By Abacha To Nigeria by Emmahunk(m): 8:01pm On Mar 17, 2015 |
Sirniyeh: Switzerland will return to Nigeria some $380 million (360 million euros) linked to ex-dictator Sani Abacha, Geneva’s public prosecutor said Tuesday, adding that it was closing a 16-year case on the funds.
Abacha ruled oil-rich Nigeria with an iron fist from 1993 until he died in 1998. The economy grew under his rule, though he was seen as extremely corrupt and faced criticism over his human rights abuses in the oil-rich nation.
The decision to return the funds follows a July 2014 deal between Nigeria and the Abacha family. Under the agreement, the funds would be confiscated and returned to Nigeria, while Abuja would drop its case against the deceased dictator’s son Abba Abacha.
The $380 million had been placed in several accounts abroad that were controlled by the Abacha family, which is considered a criminal organisation, the Geneva prosecutors’ office said in a statement.
The money was seized in 2006 in Luxembourg, under orders from the Swiss authorities. The Abacha family had also placed some $500 million (530 million euros) in Swiss banks, though those funds have already been returned to Nigeria.
The $380 million will be returned under the World Bank’s supervision, said the prosecutor’s office. The authorities have also decided to drop their case against Abba Abacha, which began in 1999.
In 2012, the dictator’s son was handed a one-year suspended prison sentence for participating in a criminal organisation.
Switzerland’s top court cancelled the sentence in May 2014, citing procedural reasons. The Geneva prosecutor’s office on Tuesday said Abba Abacha has already been detained for 561 days from 2004 to 2006, without receiving compensation.
The Abacha affair began in 1999, when Nigeria asked the Swiss judicial authorities to help it recover $2.2 billion ($2 billion euros) embezzled and siphoned off by Sani Abacha while he was in power.

abu12: http://www.punchng.com/news/jonathan-taking-advantage-of-immigration-jobs-tragedy-apc/
The All Progressives Congress has accused President Goodluck Jonathan of taking political advantage of calamities that have befallen Nigeria under his watch, saying giving N5m toeach family that lost a relative in the Immigration recruitment exercise after one year is not only belated but aimed at soliciting votes. In a statement issued in Lagos on Saturday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party wondered why it took thePresident one year to act on the promise he made to the families, adding that but for the forthcoming elections, the President would have simply ignored the families, “in his usual style.””The truth is that this President was forced to act because of the elections.
Otherwise, why has it taken one year for the President to redeem his promise to the bereaved families? Why has hisAdministration not sanctioned those who sent innocent job seekers to their early graves after extorting them? Why is the Interior Minister,Mr. Abba Moro, who presided over the deaths, still in office, virtually dancing on the graves of those innocent youths?”Sunday, March 15th, will mark one year since those vibrant youths were lured to their deaths by a callous federal government that failed them in all ramifications, including the security of their lives and the assurance of their welfare, the raison d’etre of any government.
It is therefore utterly reprehensible, immoral and wicked for the same administration to seek to make political gains out of the needless tragedy,” it said.APC said President Jonathan, “in his desperation for re-election, has also sought to take political advantage of other tragedies, including the Buni Yadi massacre of school children and the abduction of Chibok girls.”After refusing to even visit the families of those school children in Buni Yadi and Chibok, the President suddenly woke up and startedsending delegations to meet with them, all this because he needs votes. As a parent himself, how will the President feel if he had been so treated? Why must the President put his re-election over and above everything else, including the welfare and security of Nigerians? Is there no limit to desperation.”
It said Nigerians are keenly aware of the fact that this President has suddenly woken up from his deep slumber and become artificiallyhyperactive, making repeated visits to regions that he had neglected in the past six years and doling out hard currencies even at a time the Naira was taking a beating, all for election purposes.”No one is fooled by the antics of a desperate President, and in the fullness of time,
Nigerians will show President Jonathan and his cohorts that they are not impressed by his pretend governance,” APCsaid. Poverty and desperation have made us to have short memories. Firstly, the House ordered that the money totalling over N7b be refunded to the applicants. Till date, it's NOT done. So, what is a paltry N5m each to a few families compared to the billions extorted from these innocent, jobless applicants? |
Please note this is not about me but someone very close. I need only serious advice please, if you have nothing better to say keep off.
There's someone very very dear to me that this is happening this to right now. And the lady in question is so confuse as to what step to take. This is how the story goes, her mother was having a family dinner and invite both she and her husband but the husband refused to go. Keep in mind that the husband don't love her mother at all. She have tried everything for him to love her mom to no avail. So this time she decided to take a step just to teach him a little lesson. After the family dinner, she decided to pack some of her clothes and take her two little girls and went over to her mom. She explained everything to her mother, and the mother didn't call her son in law either because of anger, so her elder brother decided to call him and talk to him about the whole situation. But he already decided he's never stepping to his mother in law house, never! And the wife may as well stay there because he ain't going for her, and he's not apologizing to the mother either, he don't like her and he's never putting foot to her house.
To cut long story short, the lady is now in a dilemma. To go back or not? He disrespected the family so now the decision is on her shoulders to make. They want nothing to do with it. She loves him, and they have two little kids together. The marriage is barely four years. They were high school sweethearts in Africa, the lady worked her butt off to bring him over, and now that he's settled and got all his papers he's acting like this. Her world is like crushing down.
Which bring me to the question, if you were the lady in question, what would you do?
My dear, your friend missed it from the Word go. Men are often overgrown babies emotionally but when you dare insult their pride, not even a bulldozer can make them shift ground. How could she ever think she could force her hubby to love her mom. Right now, she should know the man never sent her away from his house. She left on her own and should quickly go back to ask for his forgiveness before she looses her man. |

mikeapollo: The sitting of the coroner of inquest set up by the Lagos State Government to investigate the cause of the September 12 Synagogue Church of All Nation’s building collapse, is gradually revealing how some public officials took advantage of the accident to put the founder of the organisation into public ridicule, opprobrium and unnecessary vilification.
It is now coming out clearly that neither was the State Governor and his team deterred from any rescue mission at the heat of the accident nor was the subsequent soil-test report as tendered by the State Engineer, the true reflection of the scientific analysis by the experts who researched the site.
In what seems to be an orchestrated bid by some public servants to put the blame for the accident on the good prophet, Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua, the Lagos State Governor had come to the headquarters of the organization firing on all cylinders at the founder during the heat of the accident.
The Lagos State Governor, Hon. Fashola, had gone as far as inferring that the founder and his lieutenants deterred the Lagos State emergency team from saving lives. Rather, it has adequately been proven that instead of marshalling or superintending any rescue team, the Governor and his men found it convenient to be in the public eye by granting interviews to the media personnel who had arrived at the accident scene.
It would be recalled also that a consultant to the Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory, Engineer Ariyori Saheed had on Wednesday 4th of March told the coroner that The Synagogue, Church of All Nations building collapsed due to defects in the foundation. This was in spite of the fact that the foundation columns are still standing very firm and erect even as of this moment.
While undergoing cross-examination by counsel to The SCOAN, Olalekan Ojo, the structural engineer could not give any cogent reasons for the discrepancies in the documents which he tendered to the coroner as sub-soil investigation report.
Admitting that there are discrepancies in the documents he submitted to the coroner at the hearing, the engineer also confessed that he did not participate in the laboratory investigation that produced the report. According to him, he only authored the report based on what he had read. He also admitted that he prepared his report overnight due to the urgency of the matter.
Stating that the discrepancies have compromised the integrity of the engineer’s earlier submission, counsel to The SCOAN, Olalekan Ojo told Chief Magistrate Oyetade Komolafe that he suspected an ulterior motive on the part of the state counsel and witness and thereby called for fairness to be applied in the entire process.
Even the counsel to the Lagos State government, Mr. Akingbolahan Adeniran agreed to the existence of inconsistencies and urged the coroner to grant them enough time to study the documents properly before addressing the issues raised.
Counsel to the SCOAN argued that it was unfair for the structural engineer to make a categorical statement on the collapse of the building with conflicting documents which he relied upon to arrive at his conclusions. The SCOAN counsel therefore challenged the veracity of Engineer Ariyori’s claim that the building collapsed due to defects in the foundation.
Earlier, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) had claimed that SCOAN did not allow them to save lives during rescue operation.
But CCTV footage presented to the coroner’s court by the organization’s Chief Security Officer showed that NEMA and LASEMA were not hindered by SCOAN from doing their statutory assignment; instead, they came to the accident site ill-equipped and immediately went about conducting interviews while victims remained trapped under the rubbles.
Meanwhile, nauseated by the deliberate mud-slinging of the Man of God by the public officials, a host of Nollywood stars have expressed their solidarity with Prophet T.B Joshua who they said has been like a father to them and a role model worth celebrating. At last weekend sitting, hundreds of Nollywood celebrities invaded the court premises from as early as 8am. Some of these popular actors included Wale Adebayo, widely known as Sango, Bayo Bankole called Boy Alinco, Ronke Oshodi-Oke, Elesho and Shitta-Bay amongst others.
Chief Magistrate Oyetade Komolafe adjourned proceedings to Thursday, March 12, 2015.
http://www.fillaweb.com.ng/news/general-news/synagogue-hostel-collapse-lagos-state-govt-admits-discrepancies It's obvious the inquest was set up to find ways of bringing Senior Prophet T.B Joshua to disrepute rather than finding the real reason for the collapse of the building. The truth can only come to surface when people holding offices of trust stop giving false witnesses and those making the enquiries go to sittings with open mind and not the determination of going to do their pay master's bidding. |

Beverlyjean: Good day nairalanders , am new on this forum and I actually registered here so that I can get a credible and mature solution to my lingering emotional and relationship problem.
It goes like this; I have a bf that I have been dating for a year now and he is a very wonderful Person, he is my first love and I really love him so much because he gives me a different kind of feeling that I have never felt before , but my dilemma is that I met another guy a month after I accepted to date my bf , we were normal friends for the first one month though I never told him I had a bf until he surprisingly made his intentions known to me . This other guy has been an angel in my life and we started hanging out frequently due to my bf not being around because he traveled out of the country , this other guy has been the most loving and caring guy that I have ever met, he is always there for me and showers me with so much care love and time . He then introduced me to my introduced me to his family ( his mum and dad inclusive) and they loved me at an instant and started welcoming me and calling me their daughter . Now this other guy is 30 while I turned 21 in December and my guy is 23 . This other guy has a great job and ready to settle but his not rushing me saying that he will wait till I am ready . The problem is that I don't have the type of love he wants me to have for him , the thing is that I love my bf so much and I am not ready to let him go . My bf missed my graduation , my birthday and Val's because he had some pressing issues though he sent me my gifts through mail but the other guy was there for me , came for my grad at gwagwalada, took me to a lovely restaurant on my bday and surprised me with a lovely gift and also spent time with me on Val's day and it was so lovely. My bf is around but I see him only 3 times a month and I don't complain but this other guy sees me like 4 times a week .
I have been in a romantic relationship with the new guy although we have done something's apart from direct sex because I am a virgin . This other guy has sacrificed a lot for me but I wanna let him go because he really want me to leave my bf and stay permanently with him , but I love my bf so much and my feeling for him is not strong . He said the reason why I don't love him is because my heart is somewhere else and the moment I leave my bf , I will start loving him as long as I concentrate solely with him.
He also said that even if I leave him and my bf should later find out what I did with him , that my bf will dump me , if not now but later and I will loose the opportunity of everlasting happiness with him ( the other guy)
I care a lot about the other guy and I have feelings for him but I love my bf a lot , even though he loves me more that my bf does.
The other guy also said my bf is still young and might disappoint me in the future . I believe my bf will not because I can guarantee that he is not cheating on me and will not .
The following are the questions that keep on giving me sleepless nights :
1. Will my bf dump me if he eventually finds out bout what I did with the other guy. 2 . Will my bf or me fall out of love as we grow due to the age 3. Am I sure that he is not cheating on me or later leave me for someone else 4. Should I loose my virginity to him to prove my love 5. Will I find another lovin guy like the other guy later in life if my guy leaves me 6 . Will I leave to regret leaving the other guy 7 . Should I follow my heart or head because my heart says my bf but my head says the other guy 8. Will I fall inlove with the other guy if I stop seeing my bf?
Please help me with very mature answers because this will play a vital role in my life in the future .
Ladies that have experienced this come forth and guys that understand the way guys reason should help out pleaseeeee , because am still a novice when it comes to relationship issues. Thank you First Love is always like that else you would have seen the handwriting on the wall rather than making excuses for your boyfriend's possible signs of cheating. I mean for someone who had been out of the Country, finally being around and having a particular number of times he sees you in a month. Hmmm. My dear, your boyfriend even in the next 15 years can still be an 'eligible bachelor but not you. Women naturally mature faster than men. Finally, in marriage, it's always better to marry because you are loved more and not because your love is more. Loosing your virginity to your bf really will not be a parameter to prove the depth of your love to him. As a matter of fact, your still being a virgin could be the only reason you still see him a couple of times a month. Give the second guy a chance if you are ready to settle down |

Christianity Etc › Re: “These Top Nigerian Pastors Are Candidates Of Hell Fire” – 7rys Old Girl. by Emmahunk(m): 4:58pm On Mar 03, 2015 |
Binotinto: According to Punch, Seven year old Iretioluwa is like every other children, but what makes her different is her spiritual proclamations, which makes her an extra-human being. When Punch was invited by her parents saying “our daughter wants you”. It was like a call not too clear. But upon enquiry made by the editor of Punch, it was discovered that it was not just a call b ut a diving cal that requires a diving response.
Ireti-Oluwa has become a friend of Jesus Christ upon whom she resides and proclaim messages for the world.“Most times Jesus Christ appears to her and tells her lots of things especially hidden things which He (Jesus) wants us to know” declares the mother.“But the most shocking of all she has been told is about men of God whom we reverence in this country and she told us to look for a Christian newspaper. In fact, she wrote the name of your magazine and we started looking for it” – the father cuts in.
We were ushered into the spacious living room of the Ifedayos when Iretioluwa was taking her breakfast. We waited for her to finish and we settled down for the business of the day. Iretioluwa, a primary three pupil was so bold as she declared what she said was told her by Jesus Christ.
According to her, my Lord and saviour saidi should declare to Pastor Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God that he cannot make heaven. Though he started very well in spite of his works, he has compromised.
“He has missed me a long time ago. I am only honouring my name in his life. He no longer has a place in me. Tell him to go back to his first love and drop every load of compromise he is carrying.
“Tell David Oyedepo that his hands are soiled with human blood. His name is not in the book of life. He has missed it a long time ago. Tell him what will profit him if he gains the whole world and end in Hell fire.
David Olukoya of Mountain of fire and miracles is encouraging evil and doesn’t want to repent. Tell him to stop living a double life. He knows the stones in his hands, tell him to drop them if he MUST enter heaven, he has to live a complete life of holiness.
Ayo Oritsejafor is not my servant. He has gone astray in the pursuit of fame, power, money. Warning to repent before he ends where his boss his.
T.B. Joshua is an advocate of Satan in Nigeria, he has sold his soul to the devil and he knows hell is awaiting hiHahahahahaha Christ Oyakhilome made a vow to Satan and he has succeeded to win souls for Satan. He is the front runner of the new age teachings in the world.
Many pastors that hoist flags of different churches know why they are doing so. Beware of such gathering. Evil altar has reached an alarming rate in Nigeria.
http://www.naijaurban.com/top-nigerian-pastors-candidates-hell-fire-7rys-old-girl/ Hahahahahaha, another satanic agent manifesting through an innocent 7 years old? Woow, that means all the prayers from the different Ministeries have really gotten Satan on edge. The voice of God does NOT seek publicity, it is a MOVING HURRICANE that doesn't wait for advertisment |

African Magic. Gun battle indeed. So what happened to the second occupant of the taxi and the driver since the taxi was already blocked by the Police Van? Why the silence on both? My take is that one of the two occupants could have been a uniformed man who stupidly felt insulted by being asked to step down may be after introducing himself. Probably a soldier, he could have tried to prove gallantry nonsense. So there is really no need for the Police to start painting an unbelievable picture of gun duel simply to cover up their killing the man instead of arresting him to answer to his crime of fighting and killing an officer on duty |
Christianity Etc › Re: Must A Christian Go To Church Before His/ Her Prayers Be Answer? by Emmahunk(m): 12:11pm On Mar 01, 2015 |
DaZion: Some Youths nowadays are so lazy to go to church because they do quote the bible that "God is everywhere".. Though, I believed that God is everywhere but Is it important for Christians to go to Church before one's prayer be answer?
Please Brethren, let's discuss, what's your views about this? God is never mocked" says the Bible, why are we taking the phrase 'before their prayers are answered' in isolation? The question is, " must CHRISTIANS....? Therefore, I ask," who is a Christian? " Most convenient answer is one who tries to live a Christ-like life! This includes, obeying the commandments of God and acting on his word! Since his word also says, 'forsake ye NOT the gathering of the brethren', then it's obvious that going to church is a MUST for anyone that calls himself /herself a Christian. |

notobs: stop the propaganda and self hate,Nigerians T ur Nigeria's masse to support our troops, No one is copying any one people have been marching to support causes for eons, cameroun did not invent marching for troops APC stop lying, support for our troops is not a partisan cause but a matter of National Security. except you are a boko haram supporter you will support our gallant military men and officers that are laying their lives on our behalf. It's really unfortunate that even those who should know better have been blinded by Nigeria's partisan politics. My dear I am not a Politician and I do not believe in your APC/PDP fever. Every honest and sincere comment must not be twisted to party. And please try being a bit civil while making your comments without being rude, calling a man you hardly know BH does not speak too good of you. |

lalasticlala: Hundreds of Nigerians took to the street this morning to show support for troops fighting Boko Haram in the North-east part of the country.
The march kicked off at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan, Lagos around 10am.
The Nigerian Army have recorded a string of successes in its onslaught against the deadly militant group who have terrorized citizens in the North-eastern part of the country since 2009.
President Goodluck Jonathan, who recently visited the troops in Yobe and Adamawa has promised that the military will record significant successes within the six-week time frame leading to the 2015 general elections.
A host of Cameroonians are also marching to show support for their troops.
See photos below:
http://ynaija.com/nigerians-march-show-support-troop-fighting-boko-haram-photos/ I love this Country when it comes to copying. For years our JTF have been slugging it out and loosing their lives in the fight against BH yet no show of solidarity. Now, few hours after Camerounians took to the streets in support of their soldiers fighting in BH, we have suddenly taken to the streets. If only we can copy good things in all areas including governance, people like Genevieve won't be going to Ghana to buy a house of over 700 million Naira. |
