27 year old Samuel Abolarin who got married only last year, lost his wife, mother in law and brother in law in the Abuja bomb blast. Narrating his ordeal to Channels TV, Samuel said

"I started calling their lines. It was saying switched off. I called my wife's line, her line was switched off. The lifeless body of an Okadaman was found early this morning in a street of Amb. Leo Okogwu road, behind the new Asagba of Asaba palace, Dla road. Asaba, Delta state. Nobody knows for sure what happened to him but people are insinuating that he was shot in the head by armed men who may have been trying to rob him and he was struggling with them. Ojo Emmanuel, who was arrested over the weekend for allegedly writing against Gov. Amosu's wife on Facebook was granted bail today at the Magistrate court in Isabo Abeokuta but was surprising not released.

After meeting the bail requirements as at 4:00pm today the Judge of the State Magistrate court suddenly refused to sign the bail bond of Mr. Ojo Emmanuel. We received news that the sudden turn of event is as a result of an order from Governor Amosun. Ojo has been taken to prison instead of his home. Against the pronouncement made this afternoon." His friend told RN.

A man in handcuffs for writing something on Facebook? C'mon people. This is a democracy! You should sue for defamation not putting people in handcuffs like criminals.




Lawmaker Condemns Police Incarceration of Online Blogger After Bail
A member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid (MHR), representing Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency has condemned in strong terms the continuous incarceration of an online blogger and Ogun state citizen, Ojo Emmanuel Adediran after bail by the Nigeria Police Force.
The lawmaker in a statement issued on Tuesday stated that the harassment and withholding of Ojo contravenes the provisions of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended and a direct infringement on his fundamental human rights.
"As a law-abiding citizen and one who holds the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria sacrosanct, I believe an accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty, and there are provisions for the protection of the fundamental human rights of the citizens. In this case particular, I hold the view that the right of the young man who is being hounded to the court and paraded handcuffed is totally unacceptable and a breach of his right to dignity."
"I equally frowned at the manner of his arrest without first investigating the substance of his allegation; the police claimed to have only started investigation after he has been arrested. This is alien to the Nigerian law and Freedom of Expression and human dignity as enshrined in the Nigerian constitution"
"It is however odious to read further reports that despite meeting the stringent bail conditions as graciously granted by the trial Magistrate on Tuesday, 29th day of September, 2015, the governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, using his power as the state Chief Executive Officer opposed the release of Ojo Emmanuel. This, I condemn in clear terms as reckless and excessive use of state power, calculated at destroying the career of enterprising young men in the state."
"I think the law is vast enough to accommodate redress in the case of any constitutional breach against any individual, the governor and his wife inclusive, and strong arm tactics from the vantage position of executive power should be discouraged lest our democracy is threatened by despots masquerading as democrats. "
"Senator Ibikunle Amosun should allow the law to take its course and not resort to bending same to suit his whims and caprices against imaginary, real and perceived enemies and position. It is not for the sake of reading that Freedom of Expression was enshrined in the constitution but to protect against the arbitrariness and executive recklessness of potential despots.
Ojo Emmanuel Adediran has same rights and privileges just as Mr. Ibikunle Amosun and Mrs. Funso Aamosun, and the law cannot hold the hand of the young man for the delight of the Ogun State Governor."
The lawmaker thereby call on the Inspector General of Police to evoke his power in fulfillment of his avowed policy of protecting the human rights of every citizens of Nigeria against abuse and arbitrariness of power mongers to safe this promising young man against the strong arm tactic of the Ogun State Governor.
"Ojo Emmanuel deserves the protection of the law and his continued incarceration could not be said to be in good taste. This has the potential of making mockery of the Change mantra of the President Moohammadu Buhari-led administration. " He said.

Just few days ago, The Okoyes (P-Square) and SoundCity had a fall out over music airplay, now Veteran Nollywood actress, Shan George has joined the lane, calling out one of their staff who scammed her of 100,000 Naira with the aim of promoting her son’s music video titled SUMMER ROSE on SoundCity. According to Shan, she paid N100, 000 on 22nd December 2014 to one Mr. Andrew Ameh popularly known as Dro, who was introduced to her by another guy called Deji Soundcity.

The money of which he demanded as payment for the airplay of Jaga’s summer rose video, but didn’t air the video even for once till today.

According to Shan George “When I confronted him, Dro said ‘MADAM NO BE ME SAY MAKE U GO SHOOT RUBBISH VIDEO FOR UR PIKIN. IF U DO PEM, I GO SPOIL UR PIKIN MUSIC CAREER FOR THIS NIGERIA O. BRING 5OO THOUSAND NAIRA BEFORE I PLAY THE VIDEO OR DON’T CALL MY FONE AGAIN, WE DON’T GET PAID ANY SALARY IN SOUNDCITY SO WE HAVE TO DO OUR OWN HUSTLE TO SURVIVE HERE.

Jesus 'Chuy' Aceves and his family suffer untold hardship because they were born hairy.On his way to work at a Mexican building site, he is howled at by strangers who jeer at him, calling him names like 'satanic beast', before whipping out their cameras to take pictures of him.

This is a normal day in the life of the 'Wolf Man' who became a world-famous circus performer whose entire face is covered in thick, black hair.

His entire family of 30 are all covered in the same dark fur as him - and cruelly shunned in their home town of Loreto, north-west Mexico, because of it. But Chuy, has now told of how locals tell them to 'go live in the woods', slay their pets to get them to leave and 'cross themselves' when they walk past - as if they were demons.

Their suffering has been witnessed by filmmaker Eva Aridjis who spent months filming them for a new, heart-wrenching documentary about their 'cursed' lives.

'Chuy comes and goes from the touring life,' said Eva, whose documentary 'Chuy: The Wolf Man' premieres in Mexico City on September 25
Upon hearing about problems at home, 'he decided then and there to give it all up'. But since quitting showbusiness, the Wolf Man realised money is harder to come by as a manual labourer.
From the age of 12, Chuy then-called Little Wolf and his two cousins spent several years travelling around Mexico, where they were 'locked up' and presented to paying crowds as attractions.

After almost three decades travelling the world, Chuy discovered his wife was cheating on him with a 'regular man' and his daughter Araceli missed him terribly.That was when he decided to give up the circus life and returned home to scratch a living by working in a rubbish dump.He does not regret spending his life as circus performer but having left home to join the circus at 13, Chuy doesn't have the qualifications to do anything other than fruit picking, building site labouring or waste disposal.

'He can't get a decent job due to the huge discrimination he suffers,' said Eva, 'He's currently working in a dumpsite where he spends his evenings burning the town's garbage for a pittance.'

It's not just Jesus 'Chuy' Aceves who suffers from 'werewolf syndrome', his entire family have hair-covered faces and bodies due to a genetic mutation which goes back generations.
The family suffers terrible abuse at the hands of the local population where old women 'cross themselves' and curse at them when they walk past.

'One of their neighbours, an old woman, has poisoned over twenty of their cats,' said Eva, who had been shocked by the abuse the family suffered.

The women regularly shave their faces, the men prefer to let it grow out. And while the women and children stay within the confines of their shared home, nearly all the men of the family work in circuses and freak-shows.
