tontoletA few words may suffice to pay tribute to a soul that departed the world sooner than she deserved. It's been 28 years since you were taken from us dear mother; you're a gem that cannot be replaced. You're a symbol of love, selflessness and compassion, strong yet tender to all of us. The lessons you gave me are as priceless as the sacrifices you made to get me to where I am today. Even now, as I speak of you, secret tears still flow within my soul, what it meant to lose you no one will ever know.
I love you mama,I always will.thank you for looking after me in such a special way from a special place,I am ok,We are ok..I turned out super great and am sure you are happy, pls come for my wedding.i know you never leave my sight, your presence I feel always and I hope some day I will be half the mother you were..
Sleep on mama, sleep on princess, sleep on baby, for you left us in the hands of the best man in the world and he did such a great job..
I love you now and forever more... #mama the Queen of my heart
#mama I just want u to know that loving you is like sweet to my soul #28years #Rip baby

Jesus 'Chuy' Aceves and his family suffer untold hardship because they were born hairy. On his way to work at a Mexican building site, he is howled at by strangers who jeer at him, calling him names like 'satanic beast', before whipping out their cameras to take pictures of him.

This is a normal day in the life of the 'Wolf Man' who became a world-famous circus performer whose entire face is covered in thick, black hair.

His entire family of 30 are all covered in the same dark fur as him - and cruelly shunned in their home town of Loreto, north-west Mexico, because of it. But Chuy, has now told of how locals tell them to 'go live in the woods', slay their pets to get them to leave and 'cross themselves' when they walk past - as if they were demons.

The children of the 'hairiest family in the world' refuse to have more kids for fear they will suffer the same cruelty if they do. Even Chuy's daughter Karla admits it would be 'difficult to bring someone like me into the world'.

Their suffering has been witnessed by filmmaker Eva Aridjis who spent months filming them for a new, heart-wrenching documentary about their 'cursed' lives.

'Chuy comes and goes from the touring life,' said Eva, whose documentary 'Chuy: The Wolf Man' premieres in Mexico City on September 25
Upon hearing about problems at home, 'he decided then and there to give it all up'. But since quitting showbusiness, the Wolf Man realised money is harder to come by as a manual labourer.
From the age of 12, Chuy then-called Little Wolf and his two cousins spent several years travelling around Mexico, where they were 'locked up' and presented to paying crowds as attractions.

After almost three decades travelling the world, Chuy discovered his wife was cheating on him with a 'regular man' and his daughter Araceli missed him terribly. That was when he decided to give up the circus life and returned home to scratch a living by working in a rubbish dump.He does not regret spending his life as circus performer but having left home to join the circus at 13, Chuy doesn't have the qualifications to do anything other than fruit picking, building site labouring or waste disposal.

'He can't get a decent job due to the huge discrimination he suffers,' said Eva, 'He's currently working in a dumpsite where he spends his evenings burning the town's garbage for a pittance.'

It's not just Jesus 'Chuy' Aceves who suffers from 'werewolf syndrome', his entire family have hair-covered faces and bodies due to a genetic mutation which goes back generations.
The family suffers terrible abuse at the hands of the local population where old women 'cross themselves' and curse at them when they walk past.

'One of their neighbours, an old woman, has poisoned over twenty of their cats,' said Eva, who had been shocked by the abuse the family suffered.

The women regularly shave their faces, the men prefer to let it grow out. And while the women and children stay within the confines of their shared home, nearly all the men of the family work in circuses and freak-shows.

Following the public outcry over president Buhari's appointments made recently, the governor of Edo state Adams Oshiomole, has released a statement defending the appointments of President Buhari.

In the statement signed by his chief Press secretary, Peter Okhiria, Oshiomole said the appointments made so far have been based on merits. According to him, the time has come for Nigeria to use unusual methods to solve her unusual problems. The statement in part reads;

"The Nigerian nation has come to a point where we have to use the best hands to confront the peculiarity of our problems. It is not all the time we descend to the level of geopolitical balancing; we need to employ unusual methods to solve an unusual problem. The level of decay in the country at present requires very seasoned hands and incorruptible Nigerians that will help translate the APC agenda of change for the benefit of all Nigerians. We must not reduce governance to political patronage of bread and butter. The governor congratulates the Chief of Staff, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the Comptroller General of Customs, all of who he had very close relationship with and whose credentials stand tall among their compeers. He wishes them well in their new jobs of helping to sanitize a system that has become so rotten and corrupt as a result of manifest incompetence and mismanagement.”

This is so sad! Fast rising music artist Skiibii Mayana, who was signed to Five Star Music label, has died. Skiibii collapsed in his sitting room this morning and before help could come to him, he died. Right now, nobody knows the cause of death. Just yesterday, Skiibii and label mate Harrysong were at different radio stations promoting their music (pic above was just 18 hours ago - now he's dead). I have a photo from the scene but I'll leave it alone. Skiibii was just 22 years old. May his soul rest in peace, amen.

The engine of a Delta airline plane heading to Cincinnati from Nashville caught fire at a Nashville airport in the US this morning. The fire started when the pilot turned on the engine. The passengers were immediately evacuated from the plane with no one injured or any casualties.

One of the passengers, Phil Cobucci when recounting what happened said "No one heard anything. The plane really just stopped in the middle of the tarmac. The captain said, 'We had a misfire,' which didn't really make it sound like the picture I saw (later) when they started popping up on Twitter. There wasn't any drama. Everyone is fine. It was more like an inconvenience, really,"
