See money na. Nice one.

I think you will have just a little edge when u mix, i have done 83k and 87k back to back mixing. Aside tips and offlines
Sometimes you will be done with 15 trips and uber go just scarce one kind. One day i say today o na only uber...
Las las na taxify gimme 13k uber 3k
Typically i dont rely on one app, because of waiting time, even if uber is my favourite.
1. Taxify takes you out of remote areas quickly
2. Taxify has a better destination trips set up

Today i have done 4 back to back taxify, d only uber trip i got was 4km away i just cancelled.
I dey my favourite spot at GRA today uber and taxify on
Taxify nak me long trip here, what if i dey wait for uber?... small small target dey complete.
But uber na baba anytime sha
The best way to work is to use both platforms. Yday, I started driving around 5pm. I did 5 trips on Uber between 5pm -8pm, the 5th one took me to Osborne estate. Then taxify flinged me to cadogan estate in jakande. Work is sweeter when you mix both apps, but I still prefer my Uber any day any time.

Who else noticed Uber adds 500 Toll to your fare even if you drop off at the airport?
it's been like that for months. There was a morning I picked a rider from yaba to local airport. Flight was supposed to take off from mm1 but rider directed me to mm2 then later found out it was mm1. I ended trip and I saw 2700, I thought my GPS misbehaved till I checked trip details and saw toll #1000.

Very bad road
dem they rob well well for mile 2

true word, I was robbed there 3weeks ago. Got a trip from festac to gbagada around 10:30pm told rider I will be taking ago palace way but she insisted I take mile 2 cos it was late and there won't be traffic. We got to mile 2 and there was small traffic, while I was thinking of reversing, those guys came from no where. Pointed a pistol at me and ordered me to roll the windows down which I quickly obliged. They took my phones, small cash on me and rider's properties too. My rider was jittery all through the trip.

Those agbero task force guys just arrested me at Ikotun immediately after governor’s road junction because I parked to buy soft drink and gala just opposite where I parked. They wrote a ticket of 25k and after much begging and intercession by the person I wanted to pick , they collected 7K - my hard earned money since 9AM and I had to pay to gauge my tires because they deflated the two front tires and that’s after the rider canceled because he had to “go somewhere urgently “. They moved me into their office and you need to see the shady deals et al being perpetrated there that’s while they all reek of cigarette and weed plus beer . The government that needs empowered these miscreants are still the one shouting that we leave crime and do a legal hustle , I’m frustrated , angry , sad and hopeless in this damned country... everything is a scam eventually .
so sorry about this, only God knew how many trips gave you that 7k and some idiots just took it effortlessly.

Make I derail small tongue

So I was at Ogudu when a request fell in....Talked to her and she directed me to her street.

The house was a church premises so I parked outside and waited for about 10 minutes..

After three young girls came out... Pretty little things cool. They even greeted me with "sir". I was jamming Jay-Z's Blueprint album so I had to stop it so as not to corrupt the "anointing of God" upon his daughters

As we started the trip, I didn't know what they'll love to listen to(didnt want to put Sound city too), so I offered my aux cord

Brethren, na so these girls put am, na rubbish songs them begin play. It was like they were released from prison. Increased the volume and shouting on top of their voices. From Naira Marley to Rema to Zlatan..... Chai

One even knelt on my seat and was twerking...

As we they go, na so VIO stop me sad. Didn't know their intentions, so I just throw my phone under chair. Them ask for license, I give them. Them free me. These Christian sisters even dey play with them.

There was no rubbish these girls didn't say with their mouth.

I have once again learnt never to judge any book by its cover
lol! I know the house. I once picked two girls from there to their church in VI. The house and the church are separate entities bro.

Greetings comrades.

I've been following this thread since February, and I just decided lately to try this business since I've not been able to get a job after service.

Luckily for me, my bro just bought a new car for the wife, and then said I can use the old one for the business if I like (03 matrix).

I've uploaded all documents, done inspection and training yesterday.
My account just got activated early this morning, meaning that I'm set to hit the road.

Please I need advice from the gurus on this thread. Both those on the fence (gazuz), those on the road (jentlelife, Jesus & Muhammad son, eherbal, FUTOdiamondbank, izuo...) those in (yanki, Japan & Ghana (uncle dru23)). The auto mechs (the Mrs with YAN currency).

I'm planning to enter streets by 2pm to test run my ability.

My major fear is how to commute around, as I'm not conversant with the roads. And the importance of the 5star stuff they hit me with yesterday during straining.

As for Google Map? I'm a top-rated LOCAL GUIDE.

Thanks comrades.
with this, you'd be alright. Also follow riders direction in some cases. Do not make mistake of parking on the roads if you need to wait for request, enter streets and park. Some places like ikoyi and yaba frowns at Uber cars, becareful around such areas. Follow traffic rules, you go dey alright.

Naso, boss. The one star depends on how the trip ends. Some of them notice how offended you are, and start showing remorse before you get to dropoff. Some can even get to the extent of tipping you.
I hardly get troublesome riders tho, so it prepares my mind for that once-in-a-while encounter. Lagosians can be crazy. One finished all my sweet, claimed she enjoyed the ride, but later gave me 1 star; I just SMH
sometimes, they don't do it intentionally. They think one- star is the best. I picked a man last night and we really had a good conversation, he commended me for keeping my car clean and comfortable. Next thing I saw was 1 star and different report on conversation, cleanliness, comfort, infact he ticked all the clauses. I just kept laughing...

This highlander is for the smart Investor. Not targeted at the N350 trips, but for the offline packages. How do you get a string of offline riders without poaching the already existing market with your clean luxurious ride?

Vehicle is still available for sale. Only the wise smart Investor will understand. (28mpg)

Imagine making 200k a month as an investor with vehicle covering less than 1500miles a month.

Imagine driving for 4-5hrs a day as a driver and making 150,000 a month.

It is doable, invest smart.

Gazzuzz y ansh don dey open ooooo, Thanks to resilient Dru23 who flagged it open from Gazzuzz car sales thread. Dru23 is Gazzuzz worst nightmare.

Here is some Gazzuzz antics, When you ask for car help? he would use automobile term to answer correctly but confuse you with the mechanical jargon and tells you, if your mechanic don't know what that means, change mechanic lol. If one is to change mechanic, it only means they should come to your shop. That manipulation works, Infact he's a smart man. who doesn't want to make money.

what i want him stop is his pessimistic approach to ehailing. Does Gazzuzz know how many family out there feed from Ehailng rental business? He had better stop that rubbish of him saying Ehailing wasn't design for rental?

Nothing is given to man freely as man is the measurement of all things so stop that condescending attitude to rental. it feeds many families.

Started the day on a good note, Had my first trip inside lekki around 4:45am, fare #437, took my second trip from lekki to airport at 5am, Fare was #3700, drove to Maryland, got another trip to amuwo odofin, fare was #1500, got another trip to ikeja, was on trip when I entered the trap. There was serious traffic at fagbems, so I decided to turn back to use ago palace way. Did small one way of about 40m on that road beside fagbems and bam! Those guys just blocked me like a commando. Before I knew it I was at their office around first gate.
OC: Oga, because sey na we-we, go and bring #35000. If no be say na you, na #150000 you go pay.
I went outside, made some calls.
OC: Oga na your key be this?

Me: No wahala.
Moral: don't be tempted, even if it is 2metres, it won't end well.

Few months back, I picked an uber staff. Not just a staff but a management staff. When I asked for his destination while chatting via the app, the guy changed it for me, lecturing me bla bla ..... That morning, I was in a good mood, I simply drove to pick up and immediately he entered the car, the conversation started. He kept telling me the rules, giving me reasons why I shouldn't ask for destinations, telling me how I needed to guide my ratings judiciously. All the while, he didn't tell me he was an uber staff but me I knew already cos the way he spoke. I allowed him finish, then I started my own, I gave him 1001 reasons I will ask for destinations and I will continue to, I even made him understand that the fares are low and stuff. The guy finally gave up, he told me every country uber operates has their challenges. He told me uber drivers on uber X in Ghana don't put on AC for riders and if you ask them, they will tell you with a straight face that Petrol is too expensive and that as become the norm over there. If you want a car with AC and stuff, you request for uber black. For the guy claiming James bond, kudos to you. I understand that your background affects your judgement. Coming from a guy who was a site labourer and earning 2k per day to a guy who would do same level of work or even less and then earn higher in a better working environment. What others are saying is yes uber still pays, but the pay does not commensurate with the efforts you put in. Imagine driving all through Lagos from 6am to 10pm and all you could make for yourself is 12k, to me, that does not makes sense. One would burn out if you do that in a stretch. I picked a guy yesterday from chevron to airport, he told me doing a trip like that in the US is about $50 and I did same trip for $10. Now, we are not not saying they should make it equal cos the living condition there and here aren't the same but they should make it worthwhile. If I did same trip and I earned say 20$ for it I don't think I will complain. I know you would come for me, but you would be ignored. Capisce?

Very simple!

Teach them good lessons.

As soon as you notice it, do not complain ,just jejely end the trip and ask them to come down.

I have done it a couple of times.

It is called ride sharing. No be by force.
The truth is a lot of drivers condone shit all in the name of yeye customer service. Customer service like they're paying premium for it, you put out yeye fares, you get yeye attitude. Most female riders have accussed me for looking too serious, that I don't wear a friendly look and I like it like that. If you tell me a destination, and I start only for me to see another place that does not favour me, I'll end the trip final.
