nairavsdollars:HOW CAN HE JUMP FROM A SHIP TO A BOAT maybe when the ship is sinking. Who wouldn't jump from ship to boat. |
godofuck231:It's actually a berreta though not the common stig |
Abdulgaffar22:We might as well say everything thing I'm life has already been made to follow a universal formula where every action taken by each and every one of us stirs life into something else. Then I ask myself why do we try to be perfect in our endeavors when everything will fall in place depending on the action of others not only you. |
Kay25:Goods question. It's been seven years since I last went to church on my own terms without forceful invitation or wedding related. I can tell you this. 1.i believe if the church is meant to teach and correct and the Bible treated as a curriculum I should've been done with the Bible in atleast 10 years. 2.they preach the same thing over and over again. I believe every human knows right from wrong so they don't need anybody reminding them. 3. I follow the ten commandments and most of all love ur neighbor as yourself, if you do follow the ten commandments u will henof no sin, but to sin is part of human nature so no matter the preach we will still sin. 4. The Bible is just a collection of books collected by men, Yes we may say books written by apostles or disciples with inspiration from God but in a language different from what we know today.dont you think some meaning could've been lost because of translation from men. Today we have many versions of Bible where same passage may mean different things contextually. 5.the church is now materialized. You can't go to church without thinking how you look, if you're presentable or not and if you're not you decide not to go to church, pure hipocrisy because u placed your looks above the God you wish to worship. 6.the church is now a business oriented institution, If I don't have money for offering and tight I feel guilty, why? Because we have been conditioned by our society Wich was conditioned by religion to give offering. Churches building schools that their members can't attend with the offering from members. Where do their profits go. Men of God outshining the reachest men flaunting their wealth gotten from church coffers. 7.worst is the different churches breaking out from another church for a selfish purpose. 8.its filled with gossipers and unwanted competition from fellow members, show off from members etc. 9.theres is no love in the church. 10.they preach prosperity and leave the issues surrounding us outside making us feel we haven't achieved anything while listening to their sermons. 11. The pastor's don't even know the history of their religion. 12. Worst is when I'm told not to question the things God has done and how he did it. The choose to blind me by saying have faith and believe. I don't even want to go to stickers, holy water, |

bonaventure73:I passed on a node.js job 2 weeks ago cos of the location and pay. Don't know if it's still available but I'll get back to you with contact. I'll find out if they would love to have an intern. It's based in Lagos and I'm based in Calabar. |
TeamPacific:Tell am. I check the picture for evidence I come d see nonsense |
progeek37:Well said OP. This is where they face problems . Trying to program without understanding the building blocks and how to break down problems Wich would actually make it easier for debugging. Learning the structures of programing Would assist people to learn languages easily and make them able to explain what ever code they write or see. Kudos |
While this post is too long for people to want to read, I noticed node.js and I want to know on a scale of 1 to 80 How good you are. |
Semtu:Starting Java without basic understanding of programing is tedious. You tend to put in much work for less, Compare with python or c++ and see the ease of doing work |
ibnquasale:I, based on personal oplopin suggest you start with C++, I would recommend PYTHON too (but learning python that is much simpler would limit your growth in other programing languages.) Most common syntax use same as c++ , so understanding c++ is a good foundation to learn other programing languages. For me Java tends to be more complex, I remember when I started Java I used to think to myself - why all the long Grammer for simple actions. But I found it easier with Java because I had gotten to a stage in c++ where I understood many things already, how arrays, pointers, logical statements etc worked. So what I basically needed from Java was to understand where the syntax and keywords changed. After c++ you can now move to python which I believe is growing fast. I'm currently on python and I must say it's the easiest to learn. But it's one thing to learn and one thing to apply and that's what I think we face in nigeria. Back in school where we taught c++, we we're only taught basics, doing programs for calculation etc, We were never told how to even apply of interface them, our programs ended on the command line. So it's ur duty to teach yourself all this things because even if you learn the whole c++ or Java or python and still don't know where to apply them productively it becomes a waste. I'm currently not on my PC now, else I'd drop names of ebooks I used throughout. But for videos on c++, Java, python etc there's on reputable source and I'm sure u must have heard or seen. He's called BUCKY. BUCKY programming tutorials. Having them on your phone also helps. Every day I make sure I finish a chapter from my book, And have video tutorials I listen to like audio without need to look the screen because I can visualize what the code would do already. Once you reach that stage you're good. And you then get introduced to new things u don't already know. |
letout:Must reside or be available in Lagos is always an issue. |
Saopedro:I believe this was a random attack and not targeted. It was quite unfortunate that she had to die. I believe if they were actually on a mission to kill her they'd have made sure she did die in the vehicle and not the hospital. This is a very sensitive issue that we Nigerians due to the rate at which our plights are ignored by the senseless government of this nation. I mean the whole government not the president specifically. We are to quick to point fingers therefore blinding us from the truth that if we could just search around we would see. At second thought if the driver saw the shooters he should be able to describe the events, and then a profiler could determine the situation involved. We don't even have profilers in our security agencies. This Fulani heardsmen crisis is terrible but I believe the yorubas should not take matters into their hands till it is proven beyond quo'n that they were actualyll Fulani heardsmen. I rest my case. |

Just when I thought the west are so civilized that they don't do jungle justice. A couple have been questioned by police and may face charges after a suspected carjacker was beaten by a mob and died in the US city of Philadelphia. Police say the man who died had tried on Thursday to steal a woman's car with her three young children inside. The woman's boyfriend, the father of two of the children, managed to chase the car when it got stuck in traffic. The suspect, 54, was then pulled out of the vehicle and beaten by the boyfriend and some local residents, police say. The suspected carjacker was unconscious when emergency services arrived at the scene shortly afterwards. He later died in a local hospital. The couple who were questioned by police are both aged 25. They have not been identified. "I'm not a fan of street justice," Philadelphia Police Capt Jason Smith was quoted as saying by CBS. "I think everything should play out through us as it comes to criminal actions," he added. The city's medical examiner's office is yet to determine how the suspected carjacker died. |

goldfish80:You are well educated in things of the spirit. I don't argue theology with folks because different denominations of religious organization have clouded our judgement with false or unconfirmed information. It gives me joy that someone on nairaland could say this. The Catholic Church was the beginning of all our religious problems. As for Simi, I just pity her husband. |
I think there is a bad communication structure within ASSU, They find it hard tobpass information directly to members and also the public . If they as an association we're very organized, they wouldn't need to wait for FG to show evidence of payment as they would've known already . But I still believe the federal government hasn't paid shit. |
LG Nexus 5 quietly returned to the Google Play store in the United States. The smartphone was listed as out of inventory for quite a bit of time before its sudden reappearance. Both the 16GB and 32GB version of the handset are available to order for $349 and $399 respectively. Black is the only color listed in Google Play at the moment. A couple of months ago, a word got out that LG and Google have stopped the production of Nexus 5. The search giant subsequently confirmed that the device will be available through Q1 this year, thus meaning that now might be a perfect time to pick one up. It's official - Samsung is holding its Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event on March 1. The company's press event is going to focus primarily on its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6. In the teaser image below, however, you can see the company will also introduce a product with a distinctive curve in its design. Could we be looking at a Galaxy S Edge? The latest pieces of evidence point that the Galaxy S6 will feature a 5" QHD Super AMOLED display and draw power from the Exynos 7420 chipset with octa-core CPU and 3GB of RAM. At the back, the flagship will feature a heart rate monitor and a 20MP snapper. You can check out the design of the phone's back in a set of case photos from Spigen. Additionally, the phone will likely pack a metal frame, just as the teaser image hints. Akin to the Galaxy Alpha, this will benefit the phone's profile making it measure 143.5 x 70.7 x 7.2mm as per leaked schematics of the device. The curved variant of the Galaxy S6 might be called simply................keep reading here http://mysmartech..nl/2015/02/samsung-galaxy-s6-and-galaxy-s-edge-to.html?m=1 and also for images. |
I sat in my room looking @ an etisalat calendar with difrent types of phones and of each generations. I then decided to write about most of them, how some fones came to be, how qwerty keypads started unfortunately my post is too long so I wud post an except ....while interested readers can continue reading using the link after the post. ]t's time for the weekly hit of nostalgia we call Counterclockwise. This time we revisit the history of QWERTY keyboards on phones, how smartphones killed dedicated SatNav units and some of the oddities of the phone world – like a camera-free iPhone and the smartphone embodiment of a web browser. QWERTY slides off Last week we touched on the subject of hardware QWERTY keyboards, especially the ones on BlackBerrys. Nokia had its share of legendary business machines too, tracing their roots back to the Nokia 9000 Communicator. Ahead of its time (1996) it was a phone-shaped mini-laptop powered by an Intel 386 it supported web browsing, email, faxing and more on its roomy 640 x 200px display. Years later Nokia had established the E-series as phones for serious messaging. In early 2009 the Nokia E75 leaked,...............read more here and view photos....http://mysmartech..nl/2015/01/counterclockwise-nokia-e7-camera-less.html?m=1. Now its the smartphone generation. We have been following the beautification process of the BlackBerry Passport closely, starting from last year's gold-plating job by a Vietnamese company, and the official Canadian gold version from only a few days ago. The company has been quick to ship the Limited Edition 50 pieces and they have started showing up at people's doorsteps. The live images come from anonymous owner 30/50, and unsurprisingly confirm the gold details in BlackBerry's press release. The Limited Edition and serial number engraving are the only design elements on the gold frame for a stylish, restrained overall look. The posh leather back has been left out of the photoshoot, unfortunately. It would also appear that the whole lot was manufactured in Canada. The Limited Edition sold out almost instantly, and is now altogether absent form the BlackBerry online store.read more and view photos here @ www.mysmartech..com |
Samsung is in talks to purchase BlackBerry. Reuters reports that executives from both companies have met last week to discuss the transaction. Update: Samsung also denied the report in a separate statement. The company clasified the rumor as "groundless." The Korean manufacturer has allegedly offered a price in the range of $13.35 to $15.49 per BlackBerry share - well above today's opening price. This brings the total of the transaction to as much as $7.5 billion. An acquisition of BlackBerry will give Samsung access to the company's immensely rich portfolio of patents. It will also instantly transform the Korean company in to a major player on the highly-lucrative enterprise market. BlackBerry has denied any discussions about such talks with Samsung in a short statement. However, it is more than likely that the representatives from both companies have met informally to discuss the matter. After all, ....for more?.............
