The chelsea fans are all shouting they want a revenge for last season, dont they know there aint time for that this season? They can have that 3 years to come. Its time for the arsenal Barca rematch which was 3 years ago to be precise.

I am a Barca/Football fan, with this conclusion, once BaRCa can clinch our laliga title and copa de royal, if we meet arsenal in the finals, I would love for arsenal to win the trophy. They deserve it, and we also do.
This guy claims to be a Barca fan but his posts has football protitution written over it shocked grin

Manure are obviously less concerned about the last year UCL rematch, but those chelskiz are,
But with the win tonight, some fewer %tage of the manure fans would want to see a rematch,
Do you know what? The dream of that will never come to reality, becoz BARCA will be knocking out Chelski while Arsenal will be pulling off a big surprise at home.

Sauron
What i don't want is trying to get into a midfield battle with them
We need to by pass the middle when we have possession. Its gonna be fool hardy playing their game with them
More like Mourinho that will drag the midfield with them.

I want to see flair and a free flowing game. Maybe we should just remove Fletcher, shift Anderson to the position you have him
And then have Berbatov or Tevez in that postion. Rooney and Ronaldo can swap!!
I think i love to see Rooney on the left flank. he was in devastating form last Saturday against Spurs
How can you explain 2 goals and 3 assists?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Emperoh(m): 2:01pm On Apr 29, 2009
Criz
Remove Marcheda from that formation
This is not the premier league.

Sauron, your formation is more like damage control and won't get us goals
I want to have both fletcher Anderson and carrick in my team but for attacking footie's sake, mba!! grin
You just have Rooney, Ronaldo and Giggs. One more attack minded person will do
I dare suggest Tevez starts and Berba comes in as a sub eventhough i know Baba will not do that.
Your formation is best suited for OT

Right posting Debo
I respect the openness of your opinion
Its a game of 180mins hence no one can say its over. Thos who wrote us off against Porto had to lick their vomit tongue
In truth and as much as i am sentimental about Man U, i hate what i saw last night.
I don't think thats what made me a football fan.

I need to use this game as a posture for Good football.
Less than 7hrs to go!!

Crizzle
The key is protecting the full backs
Fergie doesn't want to concede, he also wants to attack.
Whats the formula? Playing Park means Giggs may not play or move to the middle
Moving Giggs to the middle may give Fabregas the chance to operate optimally. Giggs may not have the energy to mark him.
This is gamble number 1.
Playing Ando will force Giggs to the wings surely this sends Ji parking  cheesy or come in as a sub
The good thing is, if Anderson is having a good game, fabregas or whomever is the engine room will be well marshalled
But the gamble in it is leaving either of Evra or O'shea open. If Nasri plays 11, O'shea go hear am. Evra I strongly believe can cope with Walcott
Ronaldo should go to the centre and allow Rooney on the left attacking wing. This will allow Rooney to cut in and shoot with his right
His crosses are also deadly. I trust Rooney's spirit going forward and also returning to help the defence.
The guy is the definition of Horsepower. I think this sorts out the left wing
Giggs assuming he plays on the right, may not have all the strenght coming back to help O'shea but lets assume he can cope
Ronaldo and Berba should be in the attack. I wanna include Fletcher in this team but i know not where to fix him.

All in all, here is my team for this evening.

                               VDS
  O'shea           Rio                Vidic            Evra

       Giggs               Carrick           Anderson

       Ronaldo                            Rooney
                              Berbatov

Looks weird but hey, these guys will play 4-5-1
Someone tell me whats the loophole in this formation?
I think i have been able to create and attacking formation and also create a shield for the defence.

Nothing is wrong with Evras form.
what happened against Spurs was tactical and SAF goofed by playing Nani ahead of park.
Evra will always need an extra man when playing against 'windy' wingers.

If Rooney is deployed at the LW today, i expect Evra to have a field day and Walcott in his back pocket grin

Nani?
nothing wrong with the boi. why sell a young player whos got potentials?
you only sell ageing players who cant do better
Nani can be better with time
I don't think its a goof
He needed to keep the team fresh
Now you didn't have Giggs Anderson and park in the Spurs match
They will have to start today to give us some freshness cos of the fixtures.

I ain't sticking my head too
I was too sored watching Chelsea yesterday soaking uo to want a cagey game today
What i really miss about the present crop of squad of both teams is the that bitter slug we used to have then
Remember Keane V Vieira war? It adds flair to the excitement.

So am keeping my fingers crossed. Let the better team win!
i just hope its us. The stakes are high, and no time to brag!!
I just wanna watch good football!!

My predictions, Man U to win 1-0

EB
Evra got little or no protection last sunday
Nani left him on his own with no help and was at the mercy of Corluka and Lennon
If he is paired with Ji, i bet he will be able to Park Theo
Its a game of flair and taps. Anderson, might just be the key in this match
I expect a 4-5-1 formation from the Gaynners. So na midfield battle!!

For a slight change of topi;
This article goes further to butress my opinion about Nani
He has performed abysmally low this season and doesn't really deserve to be here
As much i want him to be given till end of next seasont o prove himself, i think he has had enough chance to prove himself
Nothing can be better than being started in most EPL games only for him to be subbed
I wonder if ihe has ever been brought in to change games
He still has a long way to go to horn his abilities.

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/nani-set-for-exit-after-walking-out-1675231.html

And at OT here's the update!!
The good thing is that Wes is training. I just hope he is not match rusty
i expected him to be on the bench against Spurs and pro'lly come in after the goals to give him more match fitness
But i guess Fergie had other plans. Lets see how it goes sha!!!

Everyone is in good spirits and, apart from Gary Neville and Owen Hargreaves,
Sir Alex Ferguson has a full squad to pick from which is a big bonus.
Anderson's always the jester of the group,
and Fletch got some stick for being nutmegged by Welbeck in the warm-up.

Training squad (24 players): Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak; Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic,
Rafael, O'Shea, Evans, Brown; Ronaldo, Park, Giggs, Nani, Anderson, Scholes, Fletcher,
Gibson, Carrick; Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov, Welbeck, Macheda.

Seems all the scumtwats have developed a comprehension problem - Where did I say y'all wouldn't have scored??  undecided

Would scoring a goal in the 80th minute (hypothetically) have led to a 5-2 win? Didn't you score at the Emirates and LOSE?  huh Didn't you score at Anfield and lose? When did Utd scoring equate winning?   huh

Didn't you score at OT (in the first half) and get hammered 4-1? This isn't about scoring alone - it is about turning the tide of the game at a crucial moment, not by excellent play or error of the opposition, but by an idiotic ref who bottled a crucial decision.
This goes to nullify your position that the first goal changed the game
That we scored one never mean't we were gonna win assuming Spurs where determined to hold out
They were always going to collapse the way we came out in the second half!!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Emperoh(m): 11:41am On Apr 28, 2009
Kai Arsenal fans!!! Hatred for Man U runs deep in ya veins
But then it goes to pin-point us as a case study for football success
The issue at hand still baffles me cos i still can't see how that foul was not a STONE wall penalty
Rooney lays a pass, Carrick lashes unto it in a 50-50 move with Gomes, fortunate to move the ball out of the keeper's way
Then get fouled only for blind diseases bats to count it as a dubious one! Who are those at ESPN that makes such remarks?
My point is this, it goes to say, that Man U should have won at the Emirates after we scored 2-1 innit?
Spurs still had a goal to defend if they were bent on frustrating us. Having a two goal lead cut down to one leaves you sstill with something to fight for.
Bolton coulda equalised against Chelsea in the game that ended 4-3 but Chelsea held out; there was something to fight for

The penalty would have signaled a turning point where it to be the equaliser!!!
Spurs players can't be defined to have character if they can't defend a single goal lead.

I still maintain, nonetheless that we had a genuine penalty!!!

ONE UTD!!!

Eastbay:
I think the first leg at OT will be a bit tight.Evra is struggling.People keep getting past him.walcott is as pacy as they come. Our saving grace is that his final ball still isn't that good.
gunners will create chances. They normally do at OT.Hoping Anderson is deployed to stiffle their midfield. He seems to be coming into his own,but his stamina is a problem.
Just my opinion. Then we have a right-back problem.Rafael may not be Fergie's first choice.O'Shea is as dumb as he looks.Hope Wes Brown can make it.

On the other hand,Arsenal's Center back pairing offers plenty hope.Terror Rooney will run them aground.
What do you say.
I say goodluck to us!!
You have a very good point there but the right full back and left full back is where i will point to
If you field O'shea, the flank attacks will suffer; in the same vein, if you field rafael, the defense will suffer
O'shea is always bereft of ideas with the ball but has experience more than rafael. Rafael is more attack minded and tends to leave his defensive duties, but i will go with him in this tie cos we need goals. All the same, the best bet is to have Wes back
At left back, Evra needs Ji to function well. But partner him with Ronaldo on 3 and 11 and you will a dangerous left wing attacking combo.
But for best defensive line up, give him Ji and Walcott will be Parked grin grin

Anderson is getting to his best old self albeit gradually so lets hope he stiffles Fabregas. He is their key man.
As for the attack, i leave Rooney and Ronaldo to do the rest. Rooney may just have hit form at the right time!!

Autos › Re: 2010 Toyota Camry Le, Xle, Hybrid ( Be the First to Know ) by Emperoh(m): 9:25am On Apr 28, 2009
essentialB:
Camry had the same shape from 2002 to 2006 before the recent change which was 5 good years. It must not be just 3 years.
Its not exactly the change in shape you think
Now let me chronicle it the way i understand it;

from 1997 - 1999 was the pencil light
from 2000 - 2001 there was a slight modification where the rear lights and headlamps were broader and better enhanced
from 2002 - 2004 there was a complete redesign and change in shape
from 2005 - 2006 had the same shape as its predecessor but the headlamps had the pointer inside while the rear lights had the pointer and reverse indicator above and below respectively as against the previous models where the pointer and reverse light where in the middle with the brake lights and parking lights above and below respectively. Also the base LE models in the 2002 - 2004 models had radio cassettes with CD player
but the base LE in 2005 -2006 had just radio and CD player. Its only the SE and XLE that come with Cassette, Radio and CD player.

The current shape came in vogue in 2007 and i expected there to be a slight modification after three years as Inspired has indicated in his post
There is always an interval of between 3 years before a slight modification and another 2 years before a complete change in design and shape

i will use pictures to illustrate later on
This same modification is also noticable in Honda Accords
The Baby boy started in 1998 and after 2 years there was a slight modification in 2000
This 2000 model spanned till 2002 and in 2003 there was a total redesign
The EOD came in 2003 and spanned till 2005
In 2006 and 2007 was the Discussion Continues.

here are some pics for better understanding. Though Inspired has already explained what i was after
But i needed to make people have a better understanding!!

This is a really serious worry for Yar'adua assuming he wants to doctor the results.
If they have to declare a fake result, they have to begin by nullifying the 11000 votes AC already has prior to this elections as was given to them by the Supreme court. As at Sunday afternoon, according to Thisday, AC has 14026 votes while PDP has 14426 (or thereabout)
Now add 11000 to this figure for AC and bearing in mind that elections in two wards in Oye LGA are still to be held
Then you will know this is an uphill task for PDP.

My only worry is Fayemi courting Fayose
That guy should be in prison for God's sake. Only for PDP to make him look like a hero
Inviting him as if he is the arbiter or decider in the voting formula
Now he is feeling indispensable
