HNIC:
I dare say, it is not!
AW has advocated for video replays times without number(I support him)
until you have that in place, such things would continueReally, its the referees and linesmen that are blamed not the club in question.
Caroll had a right to take the ball from inside the net in the Spuds match.
It's the prerogative of the referee or linesman to declare it a goal
It will be difficult for Caroll to own up and say 'it was a goal'. grin
Anyone blaming a club for scoring an offside goal must be a clown.
I repeat today, that the game is becoming too fast cool
Referees and their assistants have just a few seconds to make a decision
That decision can decide so many things
It could be the difference between being relegated and staying afloat
or missing out on a trophy.
We can't run away from video replays anymore. cool

Thats a retrospective approach to a faulty decision

@ Tkb

Utd wasn't playing well, but it takes a quality team to punish mistakes. Liverpool were good enough to make MU pay for their complacency. Other teams like Inter had failed to do so, but Liverpool had the quality, desire and determination to do that.

This is not a 1-0 loss to Derby away, this is a 4-1 spanking at home. It is very much a different debacle all together.

Did MU not gloat that they ended our unbeaten run in 2005? We went on to finish above them in the league and beat them in the FA Cup final. The ribbing still went on didn't it? Take it like men and stop complaining.  grin
Debo
So why was everyone yapping about how inter was going to decimate us?
we were nearly ran out of this thread by some fans on how Inter was gonna punish us
I say it again, it was the Mourinho factor that made Inter tick. Nothing else!!

I said it before, high time we paid the price for sloppy football
Inter game shoulda taught us some lesson. Maybe because Mourinho was yapping too much
We need to step up our game big time. . . . . . . .

I am only scandalised this happened at OT. I woulda taken it elsewhere!!
A tad bad day for Vidic and Evra.
The attack was dead as wood same with the defence who has been our rock all season
But how we bounce will determine if we have the trade mark of Champions

Lets do it against Fulham.
We need to quit this cries!!! lets get over it.

But whats all these noise on the thread all about?
Because Man U lost? Didn't chelsea lose to them Scousers?

Abeggi all you vermins should quit making hoppla calling it noise.
The trophy is still ours to lose so quit yabbing balderdash!!!!

Mancs
We have just been riding our luck, you guys will agree with me.
Complacency had already set in and we needed something to zap us back
Unfortunately my fav player was the chief culprit.
But i am damn sure of one thing, United will bounce and i pity Fulham
They will take the hammering. At least some little competition in the title chase.
4 points with a match at hand is still a huge gap imho!!

dayokanu:
Napoli produced the greatest player in football history so that must mean Napoli is a big club.

JM coached Union Leira is that a big club? Coaches go to clubs that pay the highest. Errikson coached Man Citeh didnt he?
Cappello coached Roma didnt he?
Inter Milan is far behind Juve and AC. Pre calcicopoli No league . The only thing they won was Coppa itallia and UEFA cup for like 15 years. even when the league was thrown at Their laps in 2002, they still couldnt win it

Who doesnt beat Inter? Inter is the whipping boy of in Italian soccer for anyone. Bayern won 2-0 at San Siro, Barca decimated them, Liverpool beats them, they keep disgracing San Siro.

AC would beat them like kids anytime its required. Dont forget a 6-0 Milan derby victory for Inter. even ordinary Arsenal recorded their most famous CL victory at the expense of Inter!!!!!!
Someone following your arguments will never decipher where you are coming from
You have not even defined what make a club a big one.
As it stands, Inter is the ral Mackoy in the Seria A right now.
Forget their woes in Europe.

Liverpool is not a big club because they have failed to register their European success in the EPL?
Arsenal and Chelsea is not a big club cos they have not tasted European success?
Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are better clubs than Inter because they have won the European title?

As far as am concerned, Iner can attract any big player they want as long as they have the money.
Chelsea was once in their position. They had the name to attract the big players but not the money
All Inter needs is the players to do it on the big occassion.

I don't think we have to worry about payment of electricity
I will will assume and also going by the news above, that the billing system is with the Prepaid meter
What we should bother ourselves with is whether the system is generating enough income to sustain this project
And also the longevity and sustainability of this achievement
I bet you if the Kwara state Govt can maintain this momentum, i dare say we will see an increase investment and business activities
in the state. My projection is one yr. Or rather 7 months.

Sustaining uninterrupted power for one month is Today's Nigeria is like seeing Jesus!!!!

Meanwhile. . . . . . . . .

Arsenal are on the verge of civil war after Kolo Toure revealed the rift at the heart of the Gunners' defence.

The north London side have set their sights on winning the Champions League and FA Cup
but the players' strained relationship with William Gallas threatens to derail their pursuit.
Controversial Gallas fell out with a number of key Arsenal stars earlier this season
and had a furious row with Toure, who handed in a transfer request in January
and came close to joining Manchester City. He withdrew it after being persuaded to stay at the Emirates.

But the Ivory Coast centre-back has now revealed that the pair barely speak,
sparking fears that Gallas' continued presence will harm Arsenal's chances of silverware.
'Our relationship [with Gallas] has improved, but it’s just a professional relationship,'
Toure told Setanta. 'Once we are on the pitch we try to keep a professional attitude and to communicate.
'We never got on well together. You see, I’m friends with (Johan) Djourou,
with [Emmanuel] Eboue, with Gael [Clichy], but it’s not the same with William.
It’s the same within every company, you can’t be friends with everybody.'
Toure, 27, revealed that a lack of playing time forced him to consider his Arsenal future,
but is now focused on helping the club end their four-year trophy drought.

'Many problems occurred and made me want to move on,' he added.
'Is it because of Gallas? Not at all. At the start of the season I didn’t play a lot and I felt that it was the right moment to go.

'There were some problems between the players,
but this must remain an internal matter because I’m not the kind of man who creates controversies.
I have changed my mind and I hope I will stay at the club, for sure.

'The most important thing for me is to give the best to the club of my heart, because Arsenal remain the club of my heart.
'Wearing the Arsenal shirt gives me huge pride and I hope I will stay.
We will see at the end of the season, but I am under contract until 2011.'

Fellow defender Johan Djourou also confirmed there had been problems
behind the scenes at Arsenal this season but insisted they are now in the past.
The Switzerland international said: 'Something happened, but it’s a thing of the past.
He did want to go, but he’s here to stay.
'Honestly I think that Kolo is impressive as a person and as a player.
I can speak about him because we are very close friends.'
Mexico striker Carlos Vela also played down suggestions of a dressing room rift and
praised Gallas for helping him as he adjusts top life in England.

'It’s not a big deal and it’s a thing of the past,' said Vela.
'Everybody in the dressing room is talking to him and has a normal relationship with him.
'He remains the same. He is pretty much committed to the team and is not left apart from the squad.
As far as I’m concerned, I have a very good relationship with him (Gallas) and he’s always happy to give a hand.'
