Business › Re: Government Money Wrongly Sent To An Individual Account. Advise? by EmperorTolson: 4:13pm On May 09, 2021 |
Whizzdom: On Sunday, last two weeks my mom got a bank alert notification, someone sent her 3 million naira, she wasn't expecting money from anyone.
She was shocked, she called I and my younger sister. We couldn't believe it, so we waited for three days to see if the bank will reverse the money, they didn't, so I and my sister took our mom's ATM card to withdraw and test if the money was genuine.
We bought three phones from it. That's when we believed it was real. Then I transferred #50,000 to my bank and transferred #50k into my mom's other account which we used for foodstuffs.
On the fifth day the bank froze the remaining balance of the huge money sent. But no bank official or staff called my mom. That week passed, on the 3rd day of the second week, one lady called my mom by phone in the afternoon, she said her name is Sarah from so so bank.
My mom is not literate so they spoken in pidgin, she told my mom that she knows that my mom received a #3mil last two weeks and she has spent out of it. That the money was government money. Sarah told my mom to go to any nearest ........bank and write a mandate letter authorizing the bank to unfreeze the remaining #2mil in her acct and the bank will give us the beneficiary account which she will send the money back to. And we should return the money we spent out of it immediately.
When we got to my mom's bank, we went to customer agent area, instead of writing the mandate letter, we told the agent everything that happened leaving nothing untouched. the agent said we should give him the number of the staff that called us, when he called the Sarah with his phone, Sarah gave him another name, instead of introducing herself as Sarah, she said her name is Evelyn. She now told the agent to hold my mom down till she (Evelyn) gets to that bank to arrest my mom or whatever.
The agent said on what basis would he hold my mom down. The agent checked the description when the money was sent and he couldn't understand the description. He was saying how could this be government money. He told my mom to try and return the money spent and he told us to go.
The description on the transfer when it came in on Sunday was: "National Procurement of Scanners" #3million.
Is this truly a government money?
Nairalanders what are your opinions? Because my mom is scared, Sarah or Evelyn bullied her on the phone with jail time.
I don't know what to do. You should have withdrew everything. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Is It A Sin If A Christian Has A Tattoo On His/her Body? by EmperorTolson: 9:12am On May 09, 2021 |
alBHAGDADI: If you had a tattoo before you became a believer, it won't be counted as sin once you become a believer. This is because your sins have been washed away by the Blood of Jesus. Once you get your perfect body on the day of resurrection, the tattoo you currently have won't be there anymore.
If the case is that you are a believer and you want to get a tattoo, it means you want to knowingly commit sin despite knowing God's commandment against such. If you go ahead to draw the tattoo on your body, God may punish you for it. But can that sin stop you from going to Heaven? No. Sin can't prevent you from making heaven if you believe that Jesus salvation is permanent and can't be lost. That doesn't mean you should abuse it, even though if you do you still won't lose heaven. For example, if you know your mother will always love you, should that make you want to always treat her like trash? If you know God will always love you, should that make you treat his commandments like trash? So if you believed in the salvation of Jesus Christ and yet you're a sinner. You'll make heaven? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is It A Sin If A Christian Has A Tattoo On His/her Body? by EmperorTolson: 9:06am On May 09, 2021 |
DanceVille: Happy Sunday Folks! Blessed one in Jesus name Brethren.
This keeps bulging my mind because have seen some believers that have tattoos on their body and they are strong believers. They have the tattoo when they are unbelievers but after they converted to been a believer, the tattoo still remains because it's a permanent one.
Assuming I have the tattoo of my mother or father or my son/daughter on my body and a strong believer of Christ, does that makes me an unbeliever or does that mean that I need to get the tattoo erased before I can make it to heaven.
I remembered when we were been preached to by pastor then that God says we shouldn't have any form of tattoo on our body, christ sees it as sin.
But the issue now is, let's look at this two different scenarios;
1. I have a tattoo when I was an unbeliever, but converted to a believer and there's no way I can erased the tattoo, does that still makes me an unbeliever?
2. I'm a believer of Christ, strong and faithful to him. But I wish to have an image of my dad/ mum or son/daughter because of the much love I have for him/her, does that still changes me to been an unbeliever in christ?
Brethrens, please let's contribute to this issues and share your opinions with reference to the word of God.
Stay happy ❤️ 3. You love Jesus so much that you have his tattoo on your body. How about that? Is it a sin |

SmartyPants: Not sure what you watched either. he was clearly hitting at her hands in order to break free. He is at least entitled to proportionate self-defence in law, if not in morality.
What we saw there is a boy doing his best to get free of a woman who is dragging him. We don't know who assaulted the other first, but it is very likely, given the belligerent nature of that woman, that she did.
Further, I am at a total loss as to how you arrived at the conclusion that:
1. She was holding in him in the manner of one saying "you must kill me today"
2. That she is old enough to be his mother
The video does not show the start of the confrontation, nor can we see the faces of the people involved to tell their ages. So you have added in these parts in order to complete your theory, which is directed by the headline you read, and the shouting of the people in the background. Wh btw, merely said, "she's a woman".
Against his backdrop, if you claim that she held onto him in the stubborn manner of one who says"you must kill me today", then you at least agree that she was the one holding on to him.
Now if she is holding on to him because he attacked her, she is entitled to her defense. But if he is resisting her for holding on to him, then he is entitled to his defence. So can you eliably inform us of who initiated the contact? No you cannot. Therefore you have little basis for forming the conclusion that you have. I honestly don't know why some people are so quick to judge. From the video, the guy did not beat that woman, he was only trying to free himself from the woman. Do you think that if the guy was to beat that woman, she would wait? And for those that'll argue that the guy beat the woman. Which part of her body was he hitting? Lastly, it's obvious that those behind the camera ain't a big fan of the woman which in turn could mean that the woman is wrong. Reasons being that a particular voice behind the camera said and I quote "she's a woman ni kinni- yoruba" which translates to "so what if she's a woman" he should go ahead and fight for his freedom her, that is they're are in support of the guy. And even the fact that nobody attempt to separate them can as well mean he wasn't beating her. |

lecturer50: Let him not kill himself. Let me tell you something about myself:
When I was 14 years old, people use to think I was above 40 years.
Everywhere I went, they use to call me sir, oga, daddy, etc.
When I got to SS1, people in SS3 were so surprised that a papa could come to school and one of them was asking me why I chose not to go to school when my mates were going to school in those days.
But I was only 15 years.
But surprisingly,by the time I entered University at the age of 22, all those things reversed itself.
I suddenly started looking like a 10 year old boy at the age of 22.
I don't know how to explain it or make people to believe me.
But I am speaking the truth.
In University, some JSS3 boys that use to sell something inside the school, would be saying that I was their age mate. That how come I am in the University.
In my department, everyone said I was the youngest.
I think I was being compensated for those days when I looked way older than my age.
At the age of 24, while still in the University,I applied for a security guard job at Hamilton.
They were looking for security guard to protect globacom mask that was in my compound.
I thought it would be best for me to do the job, since I was living inside the compound where the mask was.
But I was denied the job because they said I was too young to be a security man.
They said I was lying when I said I was 24.
During my NYSC, some girls were teasing me that how come my mom allowed me to go for NYSC, since I was very small.
Now, I have returned to normal.
I no longer look like a small boy, neither do I look old.
I now look my age.
So the person should not kill himself.
God will make it up to him one day. This is super storyyyyyyyyyyy At first you looks older than your mate. then, At last you looks younger than your mate. Kai Even for Indian movie this is impossicant |

mrwonlasewonie: I don't understand.care to elaborate? After a futile effort to heal a very sick person esp if the sickness is spiritual. The person under spiritual attack might be pronounced dead believing that those that are after the person's life will back off thinking they've succeeded in their mission. But the treatment continues underneath without any further strike for those being. It's usually the last stage to heal after all other attempts have been made. Some renounced cult members do it too, some can actually go to the extent of posting their obituary pictures while they relocate to another country where nobody know them. This way, people that are after their life will withdraw, thinking the person is dead but they're actually living their life somewhere else. |

BluntCrazeMan: Woowww.!! It's a very good thing that you know how the game is being played. .. Now, Dear Former Electoral Officer.. Can you tell me the time when most Electoral Malpractices do occur in elections?
Is it During the voting process? (Like Double voting, under-age voting, and playing upon the intelligence of the aged who doesn't know how to put their thumbprint on the ballot paper)
Or is it After the voting process? (Where the Electoral Officer brings out the unused ballot papers and make them available for Multiple-Thumbprinting, or the Collation Officer Continued adding Zeros behind numbers, and correcting the resultant values at the Total number of votes cast and valid votes cast, and then increase the number of accredited voters in order to accommodate all the manipulations)... .. .. Just tell me.. Before Or After?? Mr Man, answer the question posed to you, were you at one time participated in electioneering b4 apart from being a voter? worked or working for INEC. You shouldn't argue about something you have little knowledge about. |

BluntCrazeMan: You listen to NTA-News too much. That's why you think that these babyish issues are the problems with the Nigerian Elections... ... The real problems with the Nigerian Elections are: Multiple-Thumbprinting and Results-Manipulation at the Collation Centres... And these two things are grossly and shamelessly aided (at least, allowed) by the Electoral Officers. Have you been an electoral officer before? Cos I have. And I know how the game is being played. So this ain't NTA things. |

Politics › Re: Electronic-Voting: The Best Type Of Election Suitable For Nigeria And Nigerians by EmperorTolson: 11:15am On May 06, 2021 |
BluntCrazeMan: The best era of Electronic-Voting would be the time when we can vote remotely with our phones without physically having to go to the Polling-units..
And that is: starting with the scanning of the bar-codes on our Voter's Card with our phones, then do fingerprint identification and authentication with our phones, and then vote with our phones, and finally submit our votes online with our phones too..
Nevertheless, this wouldn't stop the manual voting methods at the Polling-units for the sake of those who might not have access to the use of high-end phones, but then, Accreditation and transmission of the results from these Polling-units must both be done electronically by the trained Election Officials.
With these methods properly put in place, the Nigerian Elections can have turnouts as high as 98%, because this would avail a lot of citizens the opportunity to vote from home.
(My Opinion Though...) (So, what is your own opinion on this??)
#StayingAwayFromViolence# #SafeAndSaneVoting Lol It's nice It's just that election malpractices will increase. Take it or leave it. Online Vs Physical, which do you think it's easier to cheat with? -Double voting. -Under age voting. -A voter having more than one voter's card. -Playing upon the intelligence of the aged who doesn't know how to operate their phones. Not to talk of a greater reduction in employment rate |
