I've always been an advocate of this method...

Work hard until you are financially capable to cater for a family. Build your character until you become a personage that can qualify as a potential good husband, father and in law...

And then look for a good woman... try all possible means to know her and everything you need to know about her to decide if she's right for you... Engage her and marry her!

All these love, dating, boyfriend and girlfriend issues, most times, are "robbing" tactics...

And it falls on both sides...

many times, the females do it to "rob" the males of their money...

while on the other hand, the males do it to "rob" the female of their vagina.

Na the two genders dey suffer that "scam" they call relationship.

Well, as for the first issue, I don't know how the spending process goes.. is she the one that asks or you are the one that's just too generous and you give her without her asking or because you think she needs it and will likely ask?

If You are the one that's just too generous, then you limit your generosity. That will not only help you save more but will also be giving her message that she should adjust her expectations from you.

If she's the one that asks, Oga, limit what you give her and reject some of her requests.

It's during trying or difficult times that we know true friends. It may be when you start limiting your spending on her that you will know if she truly loves you or not.

As for the second issue... What your girlfriend did is a sign of what may happen or might have happened if the matter becomes more complicated than that.

Someone who easily gives in to seeking attention elsewhere when the two of you are not talking? That's dangerous.

I'm not saying that it will happen for sure but it's dangerous.

Have you not heard stories of women who had misunderstanding with their spouses and then they sought solace in another man until that other man capitalised on her emotional state and slept with her?

There were even cases where it did not happen once. The first time it happened, the woman began to enjoy the "company" of that other man and they ended up having sex several or many more times.

And in a marriage, misunderstandings will most likely happen every now and then. It's not something that can easily be avoided. So if it happens at a time when there's another man in the picture, only God knows where it'll eventually end.

It doesn't certainly define her but your girlfriend seems to have such weakness.

Therefore, I'm asking you now - not to just break up with her - but to use your sense and open your eyes very well. Try as much as possible to study her and ask wise people for advise concerning her so you will not have problems in your marriage.

For everyone crying 'the government is oppresive'...please let us be realistic.

Nigeria isn't and never was a rich country. We rely on oil revenues...and right now, oil is at 59 dollars per barrel. We need oil to be at $140 per barrel before we can have a budget that is good enough for all our needs.

So, either taxes go up, or we just keep on taking loans. Remember we are losing $80 per barrel, and we have had to take loans to keep afloat as oil has not been favouiring us since 2014 April.

Besides, many countries have a tax on sugary drinks.

It is sad that we have and have governments that have messed this country up, but unitl oil goes above $100 or more per barrel, taxation has to be the way to raise funds. Sorry guys...it is that...or we beg IMF for another loan.

I dated my ex for 6yrs. Who was never proud of me, can't even post my pics on any social media, even the day I did he got angry and removed it.

Have never cheated on him because I hate double dating. Am a virgin and he was a virgin then. we promise to wait till marriage which made me to love him more. I always cook, clean do everything as if I was his wife.

But this guy never showed any signs that he will want to marry me. If I bring it up he keeps quiet over it.

So through my savings from university I went to Dubai got a good job decided to forget about him for good and started dating a Canadian guy who was really nice to me and was willing to wait but my problem with him was that he always calls me sexy and shapy, big botty girl which made me feel like he was after my body because he was always telling me he can't wait to have me on his bed because he feels am too sexy.

Yes, I have great body no doubt, I became confused of the situation and decided to break up that was when my ex started begging for forgiveness that now his working in the bank and his planning to settle down by 2020.

My grandmother died I went to Nigeria and we met I realized he has slept with different girls and was even hiding his phone from me. Acting strange so I came back to Dubai continued my work and the white guy was trying to come back that he won't say things like that because he knows am different but the truth of the matter is that I don't even have any single love for the white guy. I still love my ex but my ex keeps talking to me like am a trash, I got angry and blocked him but he sent me massage on Facebook saying am childish and called me names this is someone who can never say things like that to me before but now he talks to me anyhow without respect because he feels am desperate for marriage because I always want to get married early, am in my early 20's.

Due to the situation all the guys both white and blacks asking me out for serious relationship have said no to all because I feel I can't love anyone again in my life because of my ex I don't know if am in my right senses have tried possible ways to forget him, I deleted all his pictures on my Facebook, always watching movies yet nothing seems to work.

Now am thinking of traveling to any European country look for a good white man so I can forget about him because I know I deserve better than him. I need advice if dating another guy mostly white can make me forget him or it might make things worst since am doing it because am trying to forget him.

My greatest pain is that Nigerians foolishly destroyed all channels of engaging the govt because of partisan politics..

Protests... police teargas people, Nigerians supported.
Religious protest.... army kills, Nigerians supported.
NASS siege... Nigerians supported.
Judiciary ridicule... Nigerians supported.
Restructure... we called them Igbos.
Justice and equity... we called them election loosers.
Nepotism... we called them opposition and moles.
Articles and columns protest... we called them wailers.
Hardship... we said 16 years pdp rule.
Hunger... we said drop in crude oil.
Unemployment.. we said they were rogue companies.
Dollar rise... we said we were the problem not govt.
Social media outrage... we called them Haters.

Well... the Chicken has come home to roost, how do you now challenge the govt with even as little as 20% followership as some are screaming "next level" and others saying "enjoy your next level" while the country is no different from a war torn nation.

And you know what.... its about repeating itself again with the NASS imposition.
