i. (Recall the time): This shows that it's a past event being narrated.
ii. when Allah bound (the people): who are these people?

The people of Muhammed? No!
The people of the Prophets? Yes!

Are the Prophets Arabian? No!

iii. Bound (the people) to a COVENANT through the Prophets: If the Prophets and the people aren't Arabian, why Muhammed an Arabian sent by Allah?

Or you can simply tell us the people who Allah is referring to, than that will clear the air.

A critical examination of this sura you quoted point out many errors that debunked Islam:

1. The Prophets here are the one before Muhammad who are NOT Arabians

2. The people who Allah made covenant with through those Prophets are the people of that time, lineage of those Prophets and tribe of those Prophets. NOT ANOTHER TRIBE OR LINEAGE

Now from the sura you quoted, the sura said "...and then there come TO YOU a messenger fulfilling that which is WITH YOU... "

Notice the "TO YOU & WITH YOU" in the above outline which is the same people those Prophets spoke with.

I do understand that Muslims also believe in the second coming of Jesus but contrary to the Christian faith, the Muslim Jesus is coming with a different mission.
