This is what showoff does. It breeds envy and bring you unnecessary problems.

Man will do many things to get himself loved; he will do all things to get himself envied ~ Mark Twain

Envy is a weed that should never be watered.

While on my routine evening walk, I saw him driving one of his Rolls Rolls Phantom (with no number plate) inside Omole Phase 2 about 2weeks ago. Driving up & down (as if strolling with the car).

Never be so foolish as to believe that you're stirring up admiration by flaunting the qualities that raise you above others.

By making others aware of their inferior position, you are only stirring up "Unhappy Admiration" or envy.

And when people envy you, they will work against you insidiously.

It is now that people will want to know his source of income. People who never cared to know how much he suffered in the past.

Why? Simply because he brought it upon himself through his unnecessary showoffs.

People hate those who make them feel their own inferiority ~ Lord Chesterfield

The fool dares the gods envy by flaunting his victories.

Too much wisdom in this

I’m not quite a good writer, however I’m seeking all channels to communicate my inner thoughts over the effects of COVID-19 on all financial aspects of the average Nigerian Lives.

Question: how would those due for rent renewal In the coming month cope knowing very well the general effect of COVID-19 on all aspects of the economy. Is the government able to intervene? As business are not making money and lay-offs are being implemented with huge salary cuts all over.

Politics / COVID-19:How Long Can The Money In Your Account Sustain You For? by engrrichie92(m): 11:07am On Mar 25, 2020
Following the announcement yesterday by Lagos State government yesterday, there would be a partial lock down from tomorrow
Banks, etc would be shut down except maybe for supermarkets, food-stores and pharmacy

The question now is ....How much do you have in your account and how long do you think it can sustain you for?
considering the size of your family and whether you are single/ married.

For me... 35000 naira only, and because I'm single i may be able to manage that for say 3 -4 weeks

Anything longer than that, na die be that.

God have mercy and cleanse the land from this evil virus

I used the Sybex study guide to get the high level overview of the 8 domains. (7/10)

Kelly Handerhan cybrary videos for better understanding. (10/10)

Boson practice questions to get familiar with how the questions are worded. (9/10)

Day before the exam check out Larry Greenblatt and Kelly Handerhan's videos on why you will pass the exam (8/10)...these actually came in handy, the exam is an english exam as much as it is a security exam so knowing what to look for in the questions and answers might just give those extra points.

Good luck with your preps and writing

God bless you boss for sharing. we really appreciate this

CISSP is Certified Information System Security Professional
It is one of the must-have certifications as an Information security professional if you are thinking to advance your career in the field

CISSPs, What material and question banks did you use?
Aspiring CISSP, what book are you reading?... When do you plan to write?
How have you been managing work and studying?

We could form a whatsapp study group to help and motivate one another if the number is good

Well, the work is everywhere...
The problem is when the reward and renumeration is not at par with the work

How can i work so hard ...and i end up with 80K monthly with very very slow growth rate...yet my mates in thesame industry earns way higher

Plus...even as we claim the work is much in access
Some of us still found time to ball without letting it affect our jobs...it is about time management and prioritizing really...

I’m presently at cross roads between attending an interview with Uba or commencing a training with Access bank same monday.

I need your sincere advice because I don’t want to loose both ways.

For someone that has worked in the two banks
First in access...then UBA
Access bank is one of the best places you can START your career in terms of renumeration and career growth...The latter is the worst

Plus Access bank TS is top notch ...It will transform you!!!

You can send me a DM for specifics if you so desire

Thanks guys for the inputs

I guessed I was too much in a rush to get a car that I forgot to carry out my due diligence and trusted my mechanic judgement a lil too much

It is a risk I took and prepping for the outcome whether good or bad...
Not even interested in a VIN REPORT right now, scared of the outcome and it may make even make me feel worse if the car turns out bad
Should have done that earlier

Good or bad decision...
will update you in six months time about the state of the car

I'm sure when I get my second car, i will be more careful

Car Talk / Mileage Of 180k??? by engrrichie92(m): 7:38pm On May 19, 2019
Mechanic says it doesn't matter, certified the engine solid...

Test driven the car...feels sharp
Direct Toks from US...the car is really clean
My mechanic kept reassuring me that mileage doesn't matter (he doesnt know the seller at all)

Bought the car 2.1m already...i can still return it though
But the mileage is scary.. .180k

What do you guys think?
Autojosh and others ...please your experience is needed
