Travel › Re: Has Someone Treated You Poorly Until They Discovered You Were Wealthy? by engrshakespeare: 7:00am On Sep 07, 2016 |
SAMBARRY: ok she thought you were probably the younger sister and someone sent you to buy those stuffs
You shouldn't have even bought anything from her and walked out
I have encountered such nasty experience.very recently about a month ago.I was on my way back home WITH my daughter when I passed by a supermarket. I saw a very beautiful clutch purse and I stopped by wanting to buy it.so I walked into the supermarket and asked how much it IS, the woman first looked at me for a few seconds and asked if I tell you the price can you buy it?I was like what is that supposed to mean then she said it's 7k.I brought out 10k and counted it in her presence. She too was using eye to count the money with ME, I said you see this money with me here, it's not going to end here. I came to buy something I fancied and instead of you to behave civil you were asking me stooped questions whether I can buy it.
She was now like Haa aunty koribe, emabinu.I said wura let's leave here joor.I went 3shops near hers to buy exactly what she was doing shakara for and deliberately passed by her shop to spite her. I made sure i didn't put the clutch purse inside a nylon so she Will see it.She nearly cried in bitterness.it was obvious She was just controlling herself
Meanwhile that's why I love the igbo spirit when it comes to entrepreneurship and attending to customers. Every customer is a king and is treated as such. Even if you don't buy and you just Window shop they will treat you like you own the world.which brings me to my last story.last week I went to price Curtains because I wanted to have an idea of how much Curtains are now.you needed to see the way this igbo guy attended to me.he was so courteous and warm.I had to tell him bros don't bring everything out I just want to know how much it is and so because of his hospitality I vowed that I will go back there and buy it which I did yesterday. However I saw other Curtains which we're relatively cheaper and finer than his but because of his pleasant customer treatment which I received from him I bought it from him
The bottonline is if you don't look down on your customers and treat them nicely even if they came to windowshop, even if your shop is under the ground they will go out of their way to find you. I was following and enjoying your piece until you went tribal. So all Igbos treat their customers well and other tribes dont, haba. Am Igbo but this is pure lie and I have a feeling you know it too. |

Jokes Etc › Chinese Language; A Survival Strategy During The Recession by engrshakespeare(op): 11:41am On Sep 05, 2016 |
Fellow Nigerians I no fit shout. I will just drop my advice like I did before and some took the advice and started learning Chinese and secured jobs even with imperfect Chinese because the demand is high. This is not a snake or Cossy Orjiakor thread so it wont make front page but for those who will stumble on this, my advise is simple learn Chinese and fill these endless vacancies I see. Recession or not Chinese companies are going no where, infact they are flocking in cos they know where there is recession there lies opportunity. We are in recession yet Govt is spending billion of dollars to bring in Chinese to build railway, cement plants, bridges etc, who will translate for them? Me, and you, if you care to join. Watch the Chinese you will see a long term plan for world domination, they are investing in the premier league, setting up banks, you can either cash in or remain a spectator. One way to fight the recession is to make more money , take one year from your life and learn Chinese cos 6 to 7 years in the University only to come and be unemployed, that's simply bad planning. |

Funjosh: Good advice but with the inclusion of sport betting it might not get to front page because Nairaland have ban the promotion of betting and the likes. So remove the sport betting so that the mode can move it to front page for others to learn. It made front page, I have a feeling, the threads are not read, just based on title |

RadicallyBlunt: Sounds nice but its more like a show off to me. Scholarship should be abt encouraging young scholars to sit up more with their studies. It shdnt wait until the honor to an already made famous person is due
Such a scholarship 4 d best stdnt shd be something done like yearly for d best 3 stdnts or so like Afe Babalola does. By so doing, we'll know u have d interest of talented scholars in mind and not trying to make some big men feel pleased by doing it in their name. bad belle, institute your own lets see |

Joel3: this is how it works..
if you help someone. that amount let say N50k. this 50k will enters your mavro account. and it grows at 30% a month. at the end of 30days it will be N70k. so if you request for help. someone will help you with the N70 cash out. the person that help you with 70k another person will help that one at 30days. then u too can help another again and again just like that. Fraudster spotted, you sound like a GNLD member. Spewing trash. You always here them saying they are helping others while stealing from u. |

mckoolcharming: If only they will admit that banks are ponzi scheme, then I will agree that MMM is a ponzi scheme.
1. MMM is not an Investment program. We are helping ourselves to be financially free. The government has failed us and we have decided to help ourselves
2. MMM does not collect our money. We pay directly to other people's account.
3. MMM is not a company, as such, there is no point registering with SEC.
4. Is there any law in this country forbidding us to help our brother? If there is, then you can shut us down
5. If the government begins to gives us 24hours electricity, pay a minimum wage of NGN200,000 per month, employs everyone that is unemployed, then we can consider leaving MMM Fraudster spotted |

Divya22: Please don't let those false messages discourage you from getting a good opportunity. I used to think so too, the thing is that most of them use false means to recruit people, that's the problem. There is someone I know, no one told me, I know her directly, she got that kind of text, but she deleted it, she got it again, then she went because of condition. My dear, it was actually a health organization sponsored by WHO, SAB and ACDC, trying to eradicate chronic disease in subsaharan West African countries. To cut the long story short, she has not been up to a year there, and she has almost finished building a two story building. This one I know her, it's not 'hear say', and she has a chance to travel abroad with one member of her family, everything fully paid for, and other benefits ooo...I shouted!!! Me I have joined the organization sef, I saw this with my korokoro eyes! I am in as am talking to you. Someone else has been there for about three months or so and he has bought a land. One has been there for like 13 months, and guess what he is giving as souvenir for his wedding? Customized iPads, refrigerators, etc. Everyone goes with something unique. My dear, since I saw, not heardooo, SAW, I joined immediately. If you doubt, you can meet the girl herself and the people I talked about and see their land, house, etc. I am in PH ATM, if you doubt, contact me with my email divyaempire22@gmail.com then I will show you you will see with your own eyes. Even if you are not in PH, we can make an arrangement. God bless. Scammer spotted. Kontinue |
