PS: Meanwhile, only a subservient (and probably a bigot) with incredibly LOW standards worship politicians as “lord and savior. SMH > I never praised them. What I said was that if one is truthful to oneself, one cannot say wike and el-rufai performed poorly while in government given the resources they had at their disposal. @ the bolded, it is a statement of fact and it correctly represents the thinkings of the Obi slaves. |

Dude, you not only have incredibly LOW standards… But you’re suspiciously beginning to sound bigoted.
Meanwhile, to the SUBSTANCE of the matter at hand… Did El-Rufai “mitigate” the slaughterings that INCREASED during his tenure?! > The answer to your question is another question. What has Obi your lord and saviour done to mitigate the sufferings and killings carried out by his minions in IPOB? He said he is part of them and he lives with them. What did he do to assuage the killings! |

2. I never complained... I never complain. I merely pointed out the idiocy in your statement.
3. I have no Obi, Tinubu, Fashola, or any Nigerian crook.
4. Whether the subsidy was removed by a Yoruba, Efik, Igbo, Indian, or German is immaterial to what I pointed out in number 2 above. It's your bigoted and unhealthy conscience that made you bring tribe into a non-tribal statement.
5. Government policies and actions are quantified by the impact felt by citizens, not how great they look on paper or in your life. I have simply stated the facts... Nigerians are dying and suffering. Your sensitivity or insensitivity to that statement is irrelevant to the validity of it. So your defensive outburst is puerile and wasted. Oga shut up! You are too daft to understand thee workings of government and governance in general. With the revenue challenge the country is facing, what do you think will happen in about 5 to 10 years time? So you want to eat your future today! Rubbish. Yes, time are hard for some people but this is the right time to remove subsidy; not tomorrow, not today but yesterday. When the dangote refinery comes on stream, the dollars use in funding purchase of PMS would be freed. And with the export also, more dollars will come in thereby strengthening the Naira. Automatically, without interference from government, price will come down. Don't reply me with stupid talk again. |

Interesting... Udonmeanit! Oga, you will ever remain a poor man depending on others and government if you don't take advantage of the system. Is it only in Nigeria that price of PMS has increased? People in Ghana, Togo, Niger, Cameroon etc have been living with this variation in price for donkey years, they never complained but you claiming to be a man with mouth and no hands to feed yourself want to challenge me on the net! Rubbish. Government has done the right thing. Don't dwell on it, deal with it. Your Obi professed to do same and you were happy about it. Or is it because the subsidy was removed by a Yoruba man? Rubbbbish! People have always trekked and will always trek. |

This stupidity you're showing on the net does not tell well of you. All those ailments you wrote up there has been with man since inception and will always be with man till they kingdom comes. And how many innocent people were slaughtered in Kaduna State during El-Rufai’s 8 years as Governor?! Sadly, so many Nigerians have such LOW standards and expectations, they’re bamboozled by a few flyovers. SMDH > Stop talking trash and passing unintelligent comments! A group that has terrorised the SE for years. A group that was used to rig presidential election for Obi, a group that is in partnership with death. Funny how some persons are praising the stupid NLC for this insensitive act. After the first 2 or 3 days of this foolish strike, petrol price will go up to as high as N1000 and above, then the suffering will be real. The informal sector is not part of NLC. They employ as much as 80% of Nigerian workers. These workers do not go on strike and most of the employers of these sector are barely surviving. Taking the price of petrol to more than 1k/ litre will lead to sack of workers, businesses closing shop, and unrest in the polity. Then after the government gives the NLC 2naira as settlement, they will call of the stupid strike without even thinking of the consequence of their action. |

Oghighirhighi: In 2007, Obasanjo did not conduct elections, but simply announced Yaradua as the president. The supreme court narrowly gave a favourable judgement to Yaradua and the judgement was simply called ' political judgement' by the press. There was no tension then because we all knew that if there were to be a rerun, Yaradua and his mighty PDP would beat Buhari hands down, and besides both contending candidates are brothers. The present issue we have at hand is explosive, the judges would be carrying their luck too far by messing up the actual case in preference for technical nonsense. The outcome, immediately or later of this will simply make the requiem mass of Mr Nigeria to quickly follow. You guys always talk about the consequence of determining the judgement on technicalities but it is Obi that's going after technicality. Nowhere has he shown the world how he won; not even a simple addition and subtraction of votes! Non. Tinubu has always claimed he won as announced by INEC and that Obi is just running roosterbout. |

Politics › Re: Appeal Court Voids Order On E-Transmission Of Election Results In Lagos by Enice(m): 11:29am On Jul 23, 2023 |
eldoradoxx: The judgement does not affect the election case. That case was filed before the election. Yes, it is absolutely correct that INEC has the discretion to determine how results are transmitted, and INEC had in it's guideline mandated that in confirming with the provisions of the 2022 Electoral Act, results must be transmitted. Having determined so, INEC can no longer change the mode after election has commenced as it will be similar to allowing the referee to change the rules of the game in the middle of the game. So that decision is right to the extent that INEC can only decide how to transmit result before the election, not after the election. Maybe you should read the judgement again. This case was in march after the presidential election. What the judge is saying is that INEC has the powers to amend it's guidelines at any point in time. |
