Like I said, using "all" would be referring to "all that was known".
Before America was discovered, the Britons thought they had conquered all that was to be conquered, so in their own sight, they had the "whole world"... in other words, what was written in genesis is based on what was known then by the jews. If that is the case, one can say that before the creation of adam and eve, people were already living elsewhere. |

Enice: most of the things written on that your topic is false. 1. DSC does not require billets or raw materials from Ajaokuta. They operate different systems. DSC uses the shaft furnace system to produce what is called sponge iron or direct reduced iron (DRI) which is then melted with the EAF (electric arc furnace). The raw material required for this method is high quality iron ore with iron content of above 67% and natural gas. The iron ore can be obtained for NIOMCO itakpe through beneficiation. The natural gas is abundant in the south south. 2. In the case of Ajaokuta, it uses the blast furnace system to produce what is called liquid steel or iron. The major raw material is iron ore of above 32% and coal the iron ore may not require beneficiation because Nigerian ore exceeds 32% but the higher the iron content the lesser the slag. Now here comes the tricky part. Nigeria has abundant coal but Nigeria coal is not coking. It has a high ash content and is low porosity. for you to use coal in the blast furnace, it must be coking. That is carbon content exceeding 98%. Ash content must be less than 2%. Nigerian coal has ash content greater than 2%. This will lead to a longer melting time and high slag production making it uneconomical. In the case of the mechanical and physical properties like porosity and compressive strength, these can be resolved through the use of a binder that burns off in the presence of heat. This is done by pulverising the coal, screening to remove silica and mixing with the binder to impact strength. 3. Here is the truth. For you to light the blast furnace, you need guarantee of not less than 5 to 10 years supply of coke. Since Nigerian coal is not coking, then we need to import. Here the politics comes in. Nigeria has not been able to find any country that can guarantee that much years of coke supply. Hence we can basically conclude that Ajaokuta is a white elephant project unless we change to the DRI method. Research is currently ongoing at the NMDC nigerian metallurgical development center Jos to make nigerian coal coking. |

suyamasta: Dr. Fayemi's First Half Truth on # Ajaokuta . Read and Share!!! Dearest # Nigerians , We did a good job spreading my post "Time to Break the Conspiracy Surrounding Ajaokuta" found here https:// www.facebook.com/NatashaAkpoti/posts/10154065985231758 Hon. Min. Dr. Fayemi got to read it and your comments too. To this, while defending the budget, he spent quite some time yesterday at the National Assembly talking, for the FIRST time, about the (partly) true reasons why the government cannot revive #Ajaokuta now. This truth the minister decided to speak out is the legal case between GSHL (GIHL) the Indians and FG of Nigeria I mentioned in my post. Few words for Hon. Minister Dr. # Fayemi: 1. Thank you for corroborating my statement on the fact that Global Infrastructure (GHSL) is holding Nigerian government to ransom over the Ajaokuta/ Itakpe's arbitration. http:// www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/197876-ajaokuta-steel-company-wont-function-immediately-minister.html . Now, Nigerian's are fully aware that all the previous posts in the media was cool air blown on Nigerians' wounds. Sir it isn't going to work anymore. However sir, you mentioned that you would need 1 year to clear the legal hurdles surrounding Ajaokuta. 1 year is too much a time sir. Nigerian's do not have 1 more year to waste over a legal contract entered into without the best interest of Nigeria at the soul of it. We know its quite uneasy for you; uneasy so because GHSL has powerful "godfathers" and their legal counsel is a Special Adviser to the president himself; and ironically on matters relating to the improvement of social welfare for the common man. We plead with Mr. President, the Attorney General and your kind self to please expedite the termination of every legal agreement with the Indian company. Nigerian's are fast losing their patience. 2. Hon. Minister, you also mentioned that the Federal Government has spent over $10b on Ajaokuta from inception till date http://newtelegraphonline.com/fg-spent-10-bn-ajaokuta-fayemi/ . Sir, you know that by and large, more than half of the $10b was fraudulently embezzled by those we entrusted our sovereign wealth with. It is wrong to add the Abacha loot, # SolGas and now GHSL erroneous expenditures to the supposed money "spent" on the Ajaokuta steel plant. At this time I wish Ajaokuta Steel were a human being and could speak for itself. Pity. TPE Russia has built over 40 steel plants around the world, Ajaokuta is the only one they never completed and commissioned. Nigeria Why Maybe its time Nigerian's got a glimpse of the legal contract between GSHL and Nigeria. Watch my page in a few hours...

easrael: Early this morning, I read a directive by the Central Bank of Nigeria to all Banks in the country where it ordered all banks in Nigeria to start charging N50 on all transactions that are above N1,000 from ALL Nigerians.
Now, as many of us may now know this until the banks start charging it and they give you tons of excuses for it. Here are three facts why THIS charge is a FRAUD in totality!
1. This charge is to be under a particular stamp duty which is illegal in banking transactions! At least, I know stamp duties are charged under postal orders and not on some bank transactions.
2. The account number the money is to be remitted into (CBN NIPOST Stamp Duty Collection Account No 3000047517) is not the popular TSA account number which was created as the ONLY Government transaction’s correspondence! What this means is that the Federal Government is as corrupt as anything you can imagine, using this scheme to deprive the middle class off their hard earned money!
3. This scheme of generating funds was not listed as one of the means to be used to generate funds this year in the 2016 budget! I have read the 1800 page document page to page in details that I can almost tell where a particular item is placed. You all can take the pain to read it too. This government never listed this means as a non-oil revenue making means.
What this scheme is scheduled to do is to suffer the middle class and the lower class in Nigeria to feed some greedy, corrupt and selfish upper class. Why hasn’t the FG set up a tax on luxury items which the upper class in our strata is entitled to?
There are so many questions begging for answers that, some of which many among us will avoid answering them. I’ll leave you with this: Do not ever think you’ll benefit from the N5,000 to be given to the unemployed people because it is strictly a Northern affair! That is where we have the poorest of the poor!

Israel Oladipupo Ogunseye tweets via @LadiSpeaks this is why most people fail english language as a subject. Either you lack comprehension skills or you are trying to be truthful by half. The law exempts savings account transactions. It only affects current account operations. This law has been in existence since we started using cheque books. Then the post stamp charge was 50kobo (check your cheque book if you have one) and banks have been collecting this charges. The difference now is that the amount may have been lower. So, research more before spewing your ignorance on the web. |

TalkItAll: A constitutional lawyer and founder of Change.org, Ms Carol Ajie has petitioned President Barrack Obama of the United States, the National Judicial Council (NJC) amongst others, over President Muhammadu Buhari’s “disobedience of court orders.” Ajie in the petition, which has garnered almost 200 signatories since its launch on New Year's eve, said that Buhari by his statements during the Presidential Media Chat at the State House in Abuja, “is behind the flagrant disobedience of court orders.” The President had during the media chat admitted that the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) and the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr. Nnamdi Kanu were being held against court orders because they could run away. However, Ajie said that this runs contrary to the law and the principle of separation of powers as enshrined in the constitution. The human rights lawyer expressed concern that the President if unchecked might drag the country towards dictatorship. “Buhari took the oath of allegiance to protect the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the President’s oath of office to discharge his duties faithfully, in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of Nigeria. “Within President Buhari’s first year in office, too soon after he took the revered oaths, he and state agents acting under his supervision and at his maiden media chat on Wednesday 30th December, made puerile attempts to justify constitutional breaches. “But under the Immigration Act, the President or the Minister may deport anyone who travels without a valid travel document or detain for a period not exceeding seven days. In holding Kanu beyond the required period, they have infracted on the Immigration Act, the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 and subsisting court orders." “We call on President Buhari to resign from office or face impeachment proceedings. Alternatively, to avoid another Burundi, We call on him to comply with the orders of courts,” said the lawyer in her petition.
http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/lawyer-petitions-obama-asking-buhari-to-respect-court-orders/229324/ this is silly really! First, this charge and bail lawyer should know that Nigeria is a sovereign state. Second, as in the case of the guantanarmo inmates that were held for years without trial, Nigeria also has the right to hold suspect it feels are dangerous to its peace and unity. |

My opinion is that the written address is just a sumarization of your arguements.
