Jobs/VacanciesRe: How Do Recruiters See Your Social Networks? by enigma2007(m): 9:46am On Nov 03, 2016
lestat:
How did you ascertain this ? They told you? Lol dude don't believe the hype
Cuz I get prompt on my LinkedIn for example whenever people visit my page and could see the people who visited my profile. In one particular instance, i saw the names of 2 people that was on the panel of people that interviewed me on the the Linkedin list. My twitter is also linked to my LinkedIn account while my FB & Instagram are linked together. So by visiting my LinkedIn and FB, then you get to see my other 2 social media accounts.

Personal, i have also applied for jobs here in Nigeria and they requested for my Linkedin. Also, applied for jobs where i didnt have to upload a resume but my Linkedin account was used as my resume.

No hype bro! some recruiters are using these tools here in Nigeria and its in your own interest to sanitize and lock up most of your accounts so that people will not see your contents until they add you as friends.

Not applicable here in Nigeria
Very applicable! Recruiters here in Nigeria have checked my profiles on social media platforms very well... So i took time to check out what is going on in all my accounts and even maintain the same name across all.

Not because of no opposition, he doesnt need votes again cuz he is not coming back! They all misbehave during their second terms!

BusinessRe: Azikel Refinery To Commence Operations In 2018 by enigma2007(m): 1:31pm On Nov 02, 2016
laprince:
Its so simple. Nigeria is not diversifying its economy one bit. It still depends on the wealth of the Niger delta to grow.

The present federal government needs to wise up. Sadly, we don't have technocrats, only politicians that only think of how to win the next election by any means.
Bro! Crude oil in its raw form is of no use to Nigerians except we sell it.. For example, crude can't power your generator or automobile or industrial equipment etc. Sadly! we need the ND crude oil to ease the pressure of diversification else the govt will tax shege out of the citizens and i can assure you that the taxed money will either be looted or used in paying salaries or support our bloated national assemblies.

However, if the refineries are working or more are built then the pressure on Forex can ease and the govt (i hope it will not be looted) can pump money into other areas such as "Manufacturing or agriculture etc" that can spur growth or revive our economy..
BusinessRe: Azikel Refinery To Commence Operations In 2018 by enigma2007(m): 10:56am On Nov 02, 2016
Good one.. The downstream sector need more diversification.. i expect the pressure on forex to drop if we can refine our crude oil...

We need more companies to come in and build more.

Ambode is 1000 times better than that fraud called Fashola ..yes you can take that to the bank
Do not comment on what you do not know about! Ambode would not have hit the ground running if Fashola had not done the ground work. Lagos is enjoying the fact that they have continuity in governance. Each successful government building on the achievements of their predecessors.

I wish every other person can reason like you, Nigeria would've been paradise. Useless politics played in this Goddamn Country as a result of tribalism has set us backward that even Kenya is now challenging us which is quite pathetic and heart wrenching; kudos to your brilliance and maturity bro: Paul of Psquare and FFK comes to my mind
Exactly and that is why i steer clear of politics. Most of our current politicians are divisive and only unite to steal or loot money at the detriments of people like you and I..

Also there are lot of people that reason like me out there especially on NL. They are usually busy or do not have time for tribal bashing that doesnt benefit anyone.

Take time to go to through all the forums about Innoson and see what your people have been saying about his products including you perhaps. So that's why any atom of advice from you people will be treated like a snake venom by me. Meanwhile I am not so daft or immature to hunt for likes ok, such is for intellectual midgets not for me, possibly that's what you seek. I am an Igbo defender, I joined this forum because of the trash you people have been vomiting about Igbo affairs and I've come to give it back to you eye for eye
Bros! i am my own person and do not lump me with any group and i am not against you defending igbo affairs! If i follow the same logic as you and decides to be attacking all the igbo people that i meet because some few set of faceless people in a faceless forum are bashing each other, where would that leave me as a person? or where would that leave the country as a whole?

I will buy Innoson inasmuch it meets my requirements and pocket friendly. Also, i am not interested in NL likes or share because it won't add a dime to my bank account.

I am detribalized as you can get with lot of igbo friends that i have their backs and they have my back and no online opinion(s) would sway me because i have taken time out to know them over the years. The same way i will never deal with anybody based on their religion or beliefs i.e. i have friends that cut across most of the major religions.

In fact, i even have trips planned to the rest of the eastern states because i have only been to Anambra and would like to see the other states within the region. The same is planned to see the northern part of the country.

Abeg tell any correct Aba shoe maker to run product lines to Lagos, i want to buy and try some shoes!

Peace out!

Afonja and lecture, I fear you people but I no run, before you people were shouting Innoson is fake, his cars are Chinese assembled car, now that the world is picking interest on his product, you now come out with your usual snaky hypocritical counsel, well to hell with your advice, Innoson doesn't need it, any counsel from you people are rooted in jealousy. No parking please keep off
1st point of correction. I am not an "Afonja" (read the Yoruba history), i am a full blooded son of Yorubaland or you can call me son of Oduduwa (whatever rocks your boat) but i object to been called "Afonja".

Secondly! point out where i said that Innoson cars are fake (You can read all my NL posts)

Thirdly: Why would hate or feel jealous about someone's success or someone that is trying to grow his business? You don't know me and jumped into conclusion that i hate him or is jealous of him.

I really don't get all the emotional bullshit that you spewed up there and Innoson definitely needs my money or other's people money out there that are not from the Eastern side or Igbo to grow his business except that he is running a charity organisation or he is in the business to service the government or he is contented to limit his cars to the igbos.

Parting shot: I am sure you are still a dependent or probably doesn't know jack about running a business or earning money to meet up obligations. So let me school you a little bit,
For a business to be successful, there must be demand and supply. The critical bit been "Demand" and the ability of the business to meet such demand. So if there is no demand for company's product then the company dies or loses money. I will leave it at that for now

Not everything is about "NL likes" from you and other immature twats out there.

Pandorabox:
What he said is the truth.
What he said was not the truth! All of them were giving equal opportunities via policies & tax concessions to build their cement plants or factories while some preferred to import and bag the cement here in Nigeria, Dangote decided to shun short-term profits in order to be in position for tomorrow. Not his fault that his competitors were short-sighted. The govt ccan change its mind at anytime and so a wise business-man should plan for such uncertainty.

Back to Innoson, the company should not look for govt's patronage or ensure that the bulk of their revenue base doesn't solely depend on the govt because it will only dull them in the long run rather they should push to develop their brand and make money across irrespective of the govt in power. That way they can always make money even if the govt stops buying from them tomorrow.

The United States Navy's SEa, Air and Land Teams, commonly known as the Navy SEALs, are the U.S. Navy's primary special operations force and a component of the Naval Special Warfare Command. Among the SEALs' main function is to conduct small-unit maritime military operations that originate from, and return to, a river, ocean, swamp, delta, or coastline

God bless you! Most businesses in Nigeria are badly run and they like blaming other people for their woes!

47? Really? shocked Ok we gree.. but what are their names and routes they ply? How many daily/weekly scheduled flights? Business model etc

People just throw out figures with nothing tangible to back up... cool .... Methinks, private jet owners /operators are 90% of this spurious figure.
Good points Modath. The honest truth is that most Nigerian companies or businesses are badly run though the effect of operating environment(s) can be devastating as well.
