I was actually responding to someone mentioning that GEJ had the best economic team.

Obj was president during a time when oil price was low as well though the price spiked upward towards the tail end of his administration.

Moreover, i am not going to judge PMB based on his 1st year in office. That would really be unfair to him considering that he met an economy that was not producing anything apart from oil characterized by massive looting of public funds.

If i am even going to rate his performance, i would rate him vis-a-vis the government's plans and actions within the year under review. i.e. Actual vs plan and not based on sentiments.

How influential and powerful an educational organization becomes is tied to their powerful alumni network. A school without notable or powerful alumni network ( or individuals) will find themselves schemed out of things easily or struggled to be recognized.

A sch that comes to mind with a powerful Alumni network is "UNILAG". They simply have powerful individuals scattered along all the major sphere of Nigeria and this gives them the clout to lobby out things that could negatively affect the sch or lobby to have their own recognized when the situation calls for it.

In my own opinion, influential grads from this sch should bring out this sch into limelight nobody else will do it for them.

They were stopped for poor performance..If they allow them to continue, they will deliver sub-standard roads.

So many tomato paste importers played dead while loans & venture capital was going into setting up this plant.

We sha nor wan hear the govt is planning to kill us when we see an outright ban of tomato paste importation... cos any sane business person won't like a situation where imports will make breaking even on investments impossible...

The factory didn't come on line in 2days, only Dangote & Erisco (Ric-Giko is nice BTW) put the resources for local manufacturing in place, others prefer the easy way of import, take the profit & repeat the cycle.......

it's not 24x7 ,it's a night plan ... Spectranet used to have such plan @ 4k for 20gb and 24x7 weekends now it's 7.5k and 11k respectively

I use Smile as a backup network especially when i need high speed Internet for certain transactions. The 10GB last up to 5 months while Spectranet subscription is on monthly basis. I don't recommend Smile as alternative to Spectranet as Smile is very expensive and zaps data. The best alternative to spectranet is Swift.

Switching Spectranet for Smile is not wise rather Swift will make more sense
