PHIPEX:
So Niger Delta states are free to drill their oil right? Watch as they turn around to deny this statement. Has the existing laws been changed to permit this or is it a military fiat?
Solid minerals sir! I don't think Oil is part of that group

provided they go about the exercise in manners that will not interfere with locations already given to other stakeholders

what exactly does that mean, already given to other stakeholders?
Just like oil blocs, some companies already were given the rights to explore and mine certain areas.

Bros! They can't eat it alone because the Federal Govt is still going to partake and that would still be shared across the states as usual. FG has the exclusive rights to all the resources!

This is not good for our nation in the long run.

We will face the same problem America faced with the Likes of JD Rockefeller, jp Morgan in the early 1900s, where a few men could hold the country to ransom.
When others are not investing nko? I think our government (executive and legislative arms) should start thinking of setting up "Anti-Trust" laws.

Single handed? There was an economy team she led comprising Soludo, El-Rufai, Ezekwesile and others. The team had the ex-President Obasanjo as as the "CEO". If you asked me I will say the President's global image and acceptance at that time was more instrumental to the regime success than NOI dexterity.

NOI single hand performance (was as a Prime minister under GEJ). The score-card is what we have been witnessing in Dasuki-gate, Anenih-gate, depleted reserve pre-handover, pwced-NNPC frauds, Diezaini-gate and others.
God bless you! Was about point out the folly of his comparison but you beat me to it..

PoliticsRe: HOW AGRO-INDUSTRILIZATION CAN BE THE "NEW CRUDE OIL" IN NIGERIA by enigma2007(m): 8:57pm On Dec 24, 2015
obasiken:
I was part of a team that introduced some foriegn investors to a governor in the south east. They wanted to start a palm plantation and refine the palm oil to meet europe standard before exporting it.

This plantation will employ 2000 people for a start and return about 1.5b per month to the state government. All they needed was land.

The governor asked us how long before ROI (return on investmvent). We told him 6 years cos palm tree takes time to grow. The governor told us he cannot be investing for his successor to come and reap.

Oh God! What kind of thinking is that?

You obvious to know the law guiding Police actions in Nigeria. Just google it and read up!

Flash! Nigerian police do not need warrant to arrest.. They are empowered to do that and he should have complied so that his lawyers can sort out the necessary legalities. Therefore, he acted foolishly by resisting arrest

EducationRe: Sight Of Boy Taking Sisters To School In Lagos by enigma2007(m): 8:26am On Dec 08, 2015
amjoseph19:
Are you okhuh It seems like you were deprived of such siblings love.

You called this sufferinghuh It is an opportunity. A very big one.

This type of scenario tends to create a super bond between siblings. As they are going to school everyday, they encounter challenges from crossing the road to fending off bullies. They tend to solve problems together, they sees their self as one. They may nag, quarrel and shout even fight with each other, but that's the inevitable process that leads to siblings love.
I bet you, this boy will remember this moment as one of the best moments in his life. In general, it seems that this type of moments becomes more cherishable as you grow older.

Thank you! I can relate to your experiences...

I was born is such home, my parents weren't rich enough to put me in a school that takes children to school by bus. I trekked home, going and coming. Gutters that I couldn't cross, I was helped by my snr siblings, when am tired, they backed me just like the little child being back by his brother. Such opportunity did contributed in the strong love we are currently enjoying amongst siblings. I am and will always remain thankful to God for given us such opportunity.

Bro, you missed a lot, such moments are gold, they are priceless.

Most people cant separate the evil of an individual or individuals from an entire tribe. They just generalized!
